Liam;s one of my favourite VAs, the range he does going from Akihiko to Grimoire Weiss in Nier is insane. He also did a supporting character in Redline (go watch it if you haven't, the dub is good) and I KNEW Akihiko sounded familiar because of that The new cast aren't bad per se but they do all sound a bit more generic than the originals, outside of Fuuka and Ken the original voices all felt a lot more unique to me but I guess we'll see

I think i saw somewhere that there was an alternative skin for Aigis in the Persona 4 fighting games where the skin references Metis and the colours of her costume, but really apart from that... I really mean, i know that she is a part of Aigis, and that when you see Aigis anywhere else than in the Answer, you basically see Metis too... But it's still sad she might get stuck in the "The Answer" part of P3 FES if P3 Reload doesn't include The Answer or atleast include it as a DLC, along with the dear FemC i hope... I even hope they just turn the Answer into a succesion of battless, with the cutscenes in between, that would allow them to skip the grinding that, a lot of people said, makes the Answer really a bit bad.... Or atleast Atuls can make a 2D animated movie of The Answer, just like the Persona 3 films released in Japan, or even a 3D animated one that just includes the cutscenes, reuses the models and skips all the battles!!! It was only when someone found Hennesy in some Caspar video games that we found our breakthrough and Hennesy got linked back to Ken. As an aside, Chidori's VA has been said to be the same as Ken's. It was Marshall then; it's Hennesy now. Fuuka is Paula Tiso. Because of her notable speech pattern, the fanbase initially chalked her up to Mela Lee. Tiso became more obvious thanks to stuff like No More Heroes (also being detected in more PCB-dubbed games, like Hennesy). I was watching a P3P video featuring Liam O'Brian and he kept referring to his Akihiko voice as "Awe, Young Liam". I think he could still do it as he did in the dancing games, but I can see why Atlus chose to recast. Plus, to me it was really noticeable that Shinjiro was also Iwai and Yukari was Kawakami in P5. This resolves that in my mind. Then again...Yosuke is going to be playing Yukari's Dad so....😂

anyone who takes this seriously, think about this for a moment 1. the voice actors might not be able to voice at the time/retired. 2. the voice actors aren't always going to play their roles again from an old PS 2 game. even if ports happened, it doesn't always mean they called in the actors, 3. it's quite possible some of them were unhappy with the pay, if it was lower than they wanted. That has happened in the past. 4. some of the actors might have passed away.

Someone should make a mod for the remake that replaces the new voice lines with the old ones. And with the new lines it just removes them I guess. Edit: I'm not saying the voice lines should be redone with the old voices using AI to recreate them, I'm saying the voice lines should straight up be taken from the old games and used in this theoretical mod. Any lines not already voiced by the old cast would just be muted.
It's probably because most of the original dub cast are really big voice actors now who charge a much higher rate than these newer voice actors. I don't know how it works since they're all in the same union.

I think Paula Tiso was the original (the voice of Camilla from Fire Emblem Fates) of Fuuka, and the Wendee Lee (the Evil Queen from Ever After High), and now Suzie Yeung.
Her voice actress for the original P3 games was never credited nobody has come forth to claim the role and people can only speculate the same goes for Chidoris VA she is also not credited.

I was watching a P3P video featuring Liam O'Brian and he kept referring to his Akihiko voice as "Awe, Young Liam". I think he could still do it as he did in the dancing games, but I can see why Atlus chose to recast.
Plus, to me it was really noticeable that Shinjiro was also Iwai and Yukari was Kawakami in P5. This resolves that in my mind. Then again...Yosuke is going to be playing Yukari's Dad so....😂

1. the voice actors might not be able to voice at the time/retired.
2. the voice actors aren't always going to play their roles again from an old PS 2 game. even if ports happened, it doesn't always mean they called in the actors,
3. it's quite possible some of them were unhappy with the pay, if it was lower than they wanted. That has happened in the past.
4. some of the actors might have passed away.
That didn't stop them from doing P3 Dancing they should've just reprised their roles instead of getting stupid RUclipsrs who don't take the job seriously

Someone should make a mod for the remake that replaces the new voice lines with the old ones. And with the new lines it just removes them I guess.
Edit: I'm not saying the voice lines should be redone with the old voices using AI to recreate them, I'm saying the voice lines should straight up be taken from the old games and used in this theoretical mod. Any lines not already voiced by the old cast would just be muted.

It's probably because most of the original dub cast are really big voice actors now who charge a much higher rate than these newer voice actors. I don't know how it works since they're all in the same union.

1. I wish Minato said to Mitsuru, after she said doing Spider-Man was a bad idea, "Hey, don't you give me that shit, Senpai! You jumped right onto that boat with me!"
2. Ken does not deserve any of this hate. The kid has done nothing wrong. And before anyone says it, No, Ken was not responsible for what happened to Shinjiro. Shinji's fate was purely the fault of both Takaya and Shinji himself. Literally nothing Ken did resulted in Shinjiro's demise.
