The fact that the Doc Robots won 1-on-1 while the originals won the battle royale is really cool actually. It's exactly how things would go in a movie - the Evil Knockoffs are technically superior, but the originals work so much better as a team.

I wonder how much the order in which the robot masters deployed changed the outcome of the fights. That is true. Here in the group battle is the time stopper what defines who team loses and wins, and doc flash is identical at all as flash man, even the pellets bunch shoot, the difference is he leaves a smaller gap of time while the time stopper isnt active compared to flash man
Interesting how the doc robots have a clear edge in the endurance/survival match while the originals have the clear edge in the rumble. I wonder what factors cause this.
I wouldn't say the Doc bots have an edge in 1V1. The original bots had a pretty comfortable lead for a minute there. And the last Doc bot standing had literally one bar of health left.
Did you stop watching after Crash Man died? Of the 49 other simulations, the Doc Robots won 32 while the Robot Masters only won 17. That's pretty much a 2:1 advantage for them.
Perhaps the Doc robots generally being larger targets was a bigger weakness in the rumble? The original AirMan's increased fire rate might matter as well.
Love the Gameboy color scheme of the Original Robots. The Doc Robots may be superior in the gauntlet match, but you can’t beat the classics on team games.
Correct me if I’m wrong , but I think the doc flash we are seeing here is from the original famicom release of mega man 3 in Japan. There, he only shot once with each time freeze. Doc flash in the US version of mm3 probably got changed to fire more shots. Just want to know is all. Still a great video as always.
Wily's archive room is good choice outta, it'd be nice touch if you had put blue dots to second column lockers. Also, I see you used english DWN.014 doc robot. If it was from the japanese title, he would spread his fire rather than single shot.
Now I'm curious, do hitboxes make a huge impact? like hypothetically if the mm2 robots used doc robot ai instead of their og ai would that change anything here? anyway, gg doc robot and good job MMV!

Wow. Quite literally couldn't have come any closer in the first match. Razor thin victory. I am curious why Doc bot Flash man's time stop didn't work on Bubble Man, but the Original Flash Man's time stop worked when he was up. Is Bubble Man immune to it? Or is it that ALL the original MM2 masters are immune to it but the Doc bots aren't?
If you look closely, Bubble Man WAS getting frozen, it's just that Doc Flash only fires one shot before unfreezing compared to the barrage from Flash Man himself. This is probably why the Robot Masters reversed the matchup in the team deathmatch, Flash Man served a useful support role while Doc Flash was basically useless.
God damn, DocWood trading 2v1 and dealing two points of chip to Crash really makes him be the one strict upgrade, thanks to his faster leaves... i dont know if any other Doc has such a claim for themselves Also, it was funny to see how much both Crashes were messed up by the Air Men, that light and aerodynamic armor really came back to bite them
@@Neospection After the MM3 roster, can't wait to see the MM4 and 5 ones. I bet Toad Man will easily get 1st place on the *"Clean All Yellow Tellies"* minigame!
@@PedroJaimeCostaPereira yeah I'm excited for Toad Man because his screen clear attack could change up the meta. Like you two are saying he should clear the tellies faster than anyone. And as for going against other RMs, sure he sucks when a human player comes in with Mega Man and just shoots him every time he starts his dance, but the AI RMs are dumb so those matches should depend entirely on rate of fire. Thinking about him vs Air Man or any of the shield guys... actually my mind is drawing a blank on what happens when the rain flush is "deflected" by a shield or something similarly invincible. The original Flash Man sprayed his shots a lot more. Doc Flash shot more but more or less in the same spot.
Flash's utility in team battles is such a game changer. Good on him.

Worth mentioning that Doc Flash is still bugged and not working like it does in original MM3

Edit: oh, I noticed that in the OG MM3 NES game, he shots more projectiles/bullets. But here, he shoots less! I see it now.
If Metal Man hadn't shown up right where Doc Metal was, I reckon they could have won in the first round.
