Mona has already earned a special place in my heart for finally getting me the "cowabunga it is" achievement. So thanks, reptile girl that is cuter than she probably should be.
When I fought shredder as Mondo so I could see his ending, I was not expecting to be able to jump off of walls, and I started freaking out because I wasn’t sure that I had ever even tried to wall jump with any other character
I haven't gotten the DLC yet but thank you so much for doing these! The original video (and dimension shellshock vid) were so, so informative-- things I'd noticed between characters and seen in-game but couldn't quantify or explain, couldn't really.... *understand* without your highly detailed videos! I love Shredder's Revenge, got the Platinum before the first dlc announced and these videos are so incredible, I definitely credit them for my knowledge and skill 👏 👏
i wasnt sure if it was a glitch or if it was intentional when i did it the first time, but finding out mondo can do his backflip super mid air has maybe locked him in for me as my new main
I found Mona Lisa to have higher survivability than Mondo Gecko. Sometimes Mondo's ground super doesn't kill the enemy if they get knocked out of range. They are both fun to play as though.
@@storyrant and that is very fun to do, but mona can just blow 'em up and do just as much damage. It all changes depending on how many players and the difficulty. I like your Shredder's Revenge character analysis videos. Hope to see such videos for some of my favorite beat'em ups like Comix Zone, Little Fighter 2, Denjin Makai 2, Alien vs. Predator, The Outfoxies, Battletoads (NES version) and Fight'N Rage. And for some run and guns also maybe like Elevator Action Returns, Contra: Hard Corps and Huntdown. Well just suggestions. ^_^
I think that is why both Mondo Gecko and Mona Lisa were chosen. Theyre relatively unknown, in fact i'd argue Venus is more well known than the two of them put together. If Hothead were in Mondo Gecko's spot (some of his moveset is kind of like that) i would have been super surprised since hothead's last real appearance was as Kavaxas in the 2012 series, and previously, 1992 as an action figure. the dude literally has had maybe 3 appearances over 20 years.
@@TheVoltDenatsu Mondo Gecko and Mona Lisa might not be the most well-known characters across TMNT fandom in general, but they're by far the fan favorites of the 87 cartoon.

Hey I know this is a really old subject, has been years, but thought I might as well ask. Is there any chance you might revisit Mega Man Powered Up and showcase the official DLC stages that you didn't cover previously?
What I don't understand, at least as this game depicts her, is why is she Raph's girlfriend? With her love of chemistry, shouldn't she be Donnie's gal pal?

My ideal DLC would be Muckman & Joe Eyeball as the new character and a new stage with Mutagen Man as the boss.
