I've never really explored misty mountains from an artistic perspective, even though I do a lot of work with fantasy and sci-fi themes, so this was really insightful and inspirational. I'll definitely have to try this in one of my next drawings. Thanks, LethalChris!

The way you describe what you are doing is so helpful. Details like which parts of the pencil tip you're using, different techniques to erase gently, etc, are the kinds of details people like myself need to hear, to really help at home. Thanks so much!

I have no experience at all in drawing. In process of becoming a mosaic artist and intersted in adding drawing techniques to enhance projects. I found this video very helpful. Would really be interested in viewing videos targeted for people without any formal training in art, with deliberate steps at slower pace. Thank you incredible misty trees. I love drawing trees and looking at them. So excited to learn your techniques!

Thank you Chris! I enjoyed your video very much. Fog is my hardest concept to convey. I am a pencil Artist as well as Chalk Pastels. I'm trying to create a foggy scene with pastels and it is most difficult. By watching your drawing with pencil, I think I can find a method to do what I intend. Today is 03/13/20 and I am most grateful indeed! I've tried to watch other video's but not only is yours easy to grasp, you have a gentle voice which helps more than you can know. I also subscribed to your channel today! Again, thank you so much!

This was such an amazing video. I don't do much with pencil/graphite but you have inspired me to start doing so. I have drawn with prisma color colored pencils for years and didn't really know just how many wonderful effects you can get from pencil. Thank you.

I absolutely love the way the depth was created here; it is simple and yet so effective. I can see why you would have used this technique in a number of projects. When you create portraitures from graphite, do you use markings to help you work from photo references please?

I always thought that drawing from pencils you needed to start from the front ground 1st, the middle ground, and the back ground for last. you drawn this landscape as you were using a paint brush, I just learned something new, NO LIE, 4REAL...

The shading I will have to devise a good method where you have the shaded lower half of trees But I have couple of ideas. Thanks for sharing, Tom
