Hi, don’t know if you’re still having trouble with this, but if you are, just take about some time to draw lily petals, first alone, then in abstract combinations and then come back to this video. You need to get “smoke” out of your mind so that you can focus on the shapes.

OMG. I've been trying to figure out how to draw smoke for over 20yrs (I didn't research, I'm just a doodler) and you taught me with the words "like ribbons". I completely understand the dynamics now. Thanks!

Hi everyone! Here's my drawing of Smoke! I really hope this video is helpful in some way. I uploaded a similar drawing a few months ago but there were a few issues which meant that I had to take the video down unfortunately. So I wanted to make another version to replace it! It also meant that I had another opportunity to work on a new smoke drawing which I actually really enjoyed haha.
Thank you so much for the continued amazing support. I really appreciate it. Hope you're having a great day!

I'm working on a Nightcrawler (from X-Men) painting on a tshirt and I just don't know how I would pull off the teleportation smoke.
