Historyland is meant to be a homage to those vintage aesthetics, while at the same time putting a twist on the contemporary internet video essay.

In hindsight I feel so lucky to have worked there when this opened. I hope they restore some of the long gone effects. Love your channel! It actually feels like a channel that time and care go into. Keep it up, sir :)

I had the fortune to visit Disneyland for the first time earlier this month, and Indiana Jones & the Temple of the Forbidden Eye is barnone my favorite Disneyland attraction of them all!

Fantastic job!! I know this is minor but I could never understand why the ride queue radio plays mostly songs from the 1940s even one from 1954 when the ride is set sometime in 1935.
I have been waiting all day to finally get home, sit down, and relax with the best Disney channel on RUclips. Totally worth it.
There are sometimes when a commenter will say "I am shocked you only have xxxx number of subscribers, you should have soooooo many more." Usually they are wrong, but with your videos, it is very true. The quality in every aspect of the video is obvious. Keep up the great work like this video and your subscriber count should easily climb.

I wish they had been able to construct the original concept for the attraction. It was so cool! (except for the Jungle Cruise as transportation thing- that was a bad idea logistically)
still the best queue and ride
It totally is. They joked that the name of the ride should have been "Indiana Jones and the Temple of the Four Hour Line." But that must have been only on opening day. I've never waited that long. In fact, the line is so quick, you can't enjoy every detail of the queue.
This was great! You put the story of the ride in the context of the history of Adventureland and Disneyland as a whole. I love Adventureland, the atmosphere makes you feel like you're really in a faraway land.
It's interesting to think Tony Baxter might be responsible for Disney now owning Star Wars and adding a whole SW land to the original Disney park. Without that relationship he established with Lucas to develop Star Tours, who knows how it would have turned out?

Maniac536 there’s rumours that they’re going to retheme Dinosaur to Indiana Jones
JPhoenix_ 10 it is more than just a reskin, if they do it, it would mean a complete gutting and rebuild of everything but the ride mechanics. The ride track layout is the same on both rides but everything else is different. It would probably cost more than either ride did originally cuz they would need to remove all the audio animatronics and sets and than add the indy stuff. It is more than just a simple reskin is my point.
Can you please do a dinosaur the ride video?? I know it’s similar to Indy’s ride type but I’m sure you could find some interesting stuff on Dinosaur!!
