it's okay until you have to let go of the swing early to land on a small platform in front of the floor that collapses into a bottomless pit and you have to jump and swing with split-second timing. Other than that it's a breeze.
I got all the way through it but realised that I hadn't filled up with life at the fountain and there was no way I was going to get through the next level so I did it all again. true story.
Replayed this game after 15 years games were way harder back then i remember this being a pain in the ass in my childhood but even now its so tricky took me 30 tires to get it right

Lol I remember this level! I was about 6 years old and kept falling back then I didn't know when to rage quit so i tried for hours at a time but eventually for it same for that giant squid level
@fray1234jkl84032 Indy always has his revolver with him, and most levels feature firearms, but ammunition is quite rare so you'll mostly have to resort to fists and melee weaponry.
the moding in this game is so easy i changed skins by replacing names and i play this level as von beck and indi in german uniform was chasing me lol but realy am not making this up ther is a video of someone playing as that girl
You basically have to fail several times in order to memorize the floor pattern. Even then there's still a good chance the jump or whip button doesn't register even though you obviously pushed it.
@auggiej1 more like the reason LucasArts hates us...I played this level 56 consecutive times even though the game would let you advance after 3 failures
@bronwyn13245 Yeh I mean they should have just made Staff of Kings like Emperors Tomb only with different levels and story. Though if you liked this one they made a game before it called Indiana Jones and the Infernal Machine, which is just like Emperors Tomb only worse graphics and the controls are not as refined.
I kind of want peoples opinion/take on where the actual fuck is this taking place in. Is it in a fucking tomb or is it taking place outside? I know it’s a game but as an adult I look back and try to make sense of the level layout and all that. It feels so weird. Regardless, that scream with the score at the end is legendary.
I loved this game but this level ruined it for me. I must have tried 100 or more times to finish this but never could. it seemed almost impossible, especially without a regular controller. All I had was the mouse and keyboard

Indiana Jones is awesome and this is one of the best games on PS2. I wished that they would make proper sequels to this game, not like Staff of Kings.

this level was a real nightmare! Seriously, I wanted to rip Beck out of his Tank and beat him to death! Yes I mean with my fist!
I'm just glad that there wasn't a hidden treasure to find in this level.
