    Interesting to see in some regards the 7600 beats the 3060 but then loses some. The 4060 shows it is a ok overall gain on RT vs the 3060 but it was priced very poorly. I suppose in defense of the price, 3060s were still close to $300 when the 4060 launched so it was a "good deal" by virtue of RTX cards being poor overall value at the time (still kinda now too.)
    The 4060 could've been a really attractive card at I think $250, good performance, solid RT, DLSS3 and it sips power for it's performance. It's just hard to justify spending $300 on what is essentially a minimal upgrade over the 3060 - but we know how the market share goes, the 3060 and 4060 will become the most popular cards despite being very meh.
    I'm not rooting for either company, as playing Team X for giant corporations is dumb but people should really buy better products for their needs lol. Just buying brand recognition is how we got to our corporate hellscape today.

      I agree the RTX 4060 is overpriced and offers a minimal upgrade over the last generation, especially compared with previous generation uplifts. I think the RTX 4060 was meant to be a 4050, but they upgraded the pricing and tier to get more money. If they priced it in the 200-250$ range it would be one of the best GPUs in recent times and would be worth buying over second hand options.

    RX 7600 is very underrated, I'd love to see AMD HYPR-RX on RX 7600.

      7600 has much more FP 16, FP 32 and FP 64 power, almost twice, but the difference is not noticeable in games. I wonder why.

      Those numbers refer to the operations the core can make at a set core clock, but for games and mainly all other tasks the internal design of the core, the VRAM, the scheduling and a lot more variables affect their performance in games and in the tasks they make.
      Actually this is a little bit more complicated to explain how that reflects on performance and as I said before it has a lot to do with the design of the core and architecture and all that.

    Wait. at 3:55 - 3:56. Why is there screen tearing with RTX 4060??? Shouldn't it be better than RTX 3060?
    Please need an explanation

      @teflonstestbench  5 месяцев назад +1

      Screen tearing happens because the frames are not synchronized as I don't use vsync or other similar techniques in order to not limit framerate. So if the framerate is close to 60fps (captured framerate) or multiples of 60 it will look nice and the further it is from those values the worse it will get.
      In the fragment you mention I can only see tearing when pausing the video so nothing too bad, it's just normal and does not make a card better than another as if you enable vsync or any other syncing technology it will go away on all cards, but doing so will limit the framerate to what the screen can show.

      @@teflonstestbench 1st thank you. Ok so enabling vsync will help but it lowers FPS. I made some research and someone said something similar to you (a GENERAL tip): "Vsync smooths out the framerate if your FPS is higher than your monitor's refresh rate. Just use the in-game frame limit option and set it to your refresh rate".
      And you also said: "doing so will limit the framerate to what the screen can show."
      This all means that the screen you used for this video is 60Hz. Right?

      Yeah, the capture card records at 60fps. More than enough for this kind of videos as the tearing is usually not very noticeable.

    Not terrible at all, I would say that with right rt settings you can kinda use it even with RX 7600.

    • @teflonstestbench
      @teflonstestbench  8 месяцев назад +4

      Yeah, it's true that with low rt settings the RX 7600 goes well and can be playable, and maybe with FSR will be even better, but it seems like Nvidia is doing better on that front and Radeon is a generation back on ray tracing performance.

      I use rt ultra on cyberpunk with the 7600, played through phantom liberty like that

    Hey i have 3 option rx 7600 and 3060 and 4060 so which one should i pick for next 5 year and upcoming games which i would play at 1080 high 60+ fps... Now i like 3060 which is fit in my budget nd i like of his 12gb vram.
    So plz tell me which one is good for me for gaming and some daily task graphics works... i can pay more for 4060 but its have 8gb vram...🤒😅

      If the price difference is not really big I would go for the 4060. If you are playing at 1080p you won't need more than 8GB in most upcoming games and it is noticeably faster than the RTX 3060 and a little bit more than the RX 7600. Another option can be the RX 7600 if you can get it for a lot less than the Nvidia option. If not, the RTX 4060 I think it's the best option.
      And also maybe you could look for second hand options, I've seen some RTX 3070 and 3080 or RX 6700/6800 drop really hard in price so maybe that could be worth it for you depending on what second hand options you have in your area.

      I'll do a test with it with the RX 4060 in the future, but I dont own many games that support it rn

      If it is using anything it says with the rest of the quality settings, but most of the time I don't use it so you can see the performance differences correctly

    RTX 3060 are amazing, similar 7600, and a bit lower than 4060

    • @teflonstestbench
      @teflonstestbench  7 месяцев назад +2

      That in ray tracing, but in raster performance without rt the RX 7600 is faster
