A FARAWAY LAND - Filipinas In The Faroe Islands

- A faraway land known as the Faroe Islands is home to some lonely men, where men outnumber women there, and Filipina brides are a common sight.
Recently, a movie was filmed there, and our discussion will include a Faraway Land movie review. Life in the Faroe Islands is rich and rewarding, with not only beautiful natural wonders, but a booming economy, almost nonexistent crime, and all the amenities of modern life. No wonder there are so many Filipinas in the Faroe islands! @TheFilipinaPea

Hey Pea! How do you do it!
For you, obviously, nothing is impossible: The word itself says it: I’m possible!
Pea’s magic 🪄 stikes again at its best ! 😆😘
Vikings have a long history of ‘claiming’ foreign wives. I suspect historically it was not just through capture but also wooing.
You’re getting cleaver pea! Not that you were not before. Have you considered a video in the meaning of annulments in the Philippines and how they differ from divorces?
The most friendly skies. 🤓👩✈️🛫
Hey Pea,
When interviewing foreigners with Filipina, will you please aske every one this question? "How long before the first time you sent her money?"
That way, we'll know if it's just more delusional farang or if it's real.
I noticed a lot of RUclipsrs use cashapp as well...
Two things really stuck in my mind about this video. First, it confirmed the beliefs about Filipinas and how their culture and way of life seems universally appealing within the world. Second, the effort you made for Filipinas to open the door to the Faroese environment and culture.
All this is a example of your care for all people, the opportunity to open minds for possibilities of meaningful relationships with Filipinos, and the work and effort you make for your channel to be educational and entertaining on each episode.
Pea, you are such a phenomenal lady 😘❤️👍🏼 I really admire you and your efforts. Your provoke deep thought, insight, warmth, laughter, and a few naughty thoughts all at the same time 🤪😘🤣
Thanks SO much for that, Eric, and yes it’s a lot of work, but rewarding work 👍😊
Pea is the best. Look at her subscription numbers. Pow💥
They say “Opposites Attract” and it looks like it works for the stoic nature of the tough Faroese men in an unforgiving climate where fun loving Filipinas are bringing sunshine into their long winter nights.
Cynics will question their motivations, but if traditions and loyalty matters to both, future generations of their children will be known as from the land of the midnight sun.
Well said.
Pinay culture always brings the sunshine into your life🤣😂👌
Miss p please do a follow-up on this and let us know how everything turns out. I know it may take a while before it does but keep us informed
Yes, I think I will 👍😊
@@TheFilipinaPea Great idea...!! Pea.
Oh I really hope this annulment will get settled soon because 4 years is an impossible long time. As already some people here mentioned we all cross fingers for them and are more than curious. Interesting story Pea, as always.😊
Very honest man, I hope he doesn't get screwed.
Pay as you go that's what I always say.
HaHa ,he will get screwed, at least a few times, until she gets what she wants, lol
I see we have a realist in the house.
He has less of a chance getting screwed dating a Filipino than a woman in his country. I say roll the dice. Just make sure he has a prenup.
I hope he does get screwed daily because the Philippino women know how to take care of their man .
Great interview. And Faroe Islands do have some magic, any time I see a video from there, I feel something.
Very interesting Pea
I saw a documentary some years back that was filmed over 10 years
It was about an island off Denmark that is a power station
10 guys worked there and they were the only people on the Island and they were all lonely
So they contacted an agency and 10 Filipina were sent to the island they had never met before but they all paired off and the program filmed 10 year on they were all saying both guys and girls how much they love each other 😊
Very interesting. Greetings from Canada. My Filipina came in 2007. We are married, 3 kids, and she is my everything. Good for this guy! Good Luck!
It sounds like you’re still going strong, too👍

Yes he is right about western women. Most Americans wants Asian or philippine women they are better
I wouldn't say most, most have no clue. The smart ones yes, most of us probably want a Filipino.
Yes that’s true about America men most of us want a Asian or Filipina wife.

Nice story, quite similar to my experience currently. Best to you and your situation Gulli. Thank you for sharing Pea...Wonderful Job.
Thanks Tony! Gulli seems like a nice guy 👍
Theyre several things that's cool about this is video. One, it shows your channel is reaching people far, wide and remote. Two, you actually covered two topics, the relationship between the Philippines and there, plus the anulment process and cost from someone actively going through it. You're a brilliant lady!
I laughed too hard when he described "Here, in Faroe Islands, everything is peaceful, no noise, but there, I met her whole family the first day, 15 people in a room, noisy, everybody wanted to talk to me." HAHAHA. I can only imagine how funny his actual confusion was back then! Like, you're probably not even physically expecting to listen to more than 1 or 2 people at the same time in the Faroe Islands LOL, and then, family of 15 in the same room assaulting him, and probably with some music or karaoke in the background LOL. How did he not faint!? xD
He must’ve have felt like he was under attack 😂😂😂
and some of the younger once knew I am a musician and stick a guitar in my face and asked me to play 😳 and in the confusion I forgot all about pagmamano so I just noted my head and said hi to her mother. But but the next day I did show her respect and told her my confusion and she understood, She (her mother) lives in the USA with one of my GF sister.
Gulli
I hope this guy isn't getting scammed. 250k pesos is very tempting to use elsewhere. Hope it works out
I'm this guy and I have seen all the papers related to the process
I was thinking the same thing
@@humancaos Good. Stay strong.
The 'Annulment Scam' is a big scam in the PH. Just be careful of this one.
@@boink800 I am curious as to why you call it a scam. In the Philippines a divorce is not allowed so there are only two ways of getting out of a marriage, an annulment or if the other person dies.

Apparently it’s been granted now 👍
@@TheFilipinaPea I hope
@@TheFilipinaPea Well of course it has been granted, and he has paid big money for the entire process, and now he will pay for the entire process of getting her to his country. Basically buying an extra expensive wife. With no warranty, lmao at these guys. Some hot little honey on line got him to fork over $5,000 bucks for her divorce. and that is just the beginning of what she will get him to pay for. She is a smart girl. He is a mark. BAAHAHAHA
@@tomper2204 you jump to quite a few conclusions here, you not seen a picture and you say "some hot little honey" how you even know she is hot? Excellent and charming video Filipina Pea ❤️
Scandinavian people tend to just "Tell it like it is". I have worked with many of them in my career and always find them refreshing compared with most Westerners. Gulli is typical of those fine people with such integrity. In my province of Newfoundland and Labrador in my native Canada, we have much in common with them. Many of air families are separated for several months of the year like people from the Faros. Western men can learn a lot from watching this video and really paying attention.
Thankfully, I have found a new life in the Philippines (2 years yesterday ❤️) with my wife and little boy, after a rough life in the West.
Keep your great informative, charming and entertaining videos coming. My wife Sharon and I are real fans and love to promote your channel.
What a great video 😎 had no idea of this this Faroe Islands - Philippines connection. Fascinating 🙏👍

If you want a happy life marry a Filipino wife. I cannot say it enough I work in the Canadian Arctic we spent a lot of time away from home respect and trust are things you must have and more and more men up here are turning to the Philippines to find a true partner in life . These Filipino woman come here to an extreme climate opposite to the Philippines I never hear complaints people are drawn to them by there positive attitudes . We have just had 6 Filipinos start to work in our camp they have had such a great influence on our life in camp . There is just such a great respect these women and men that is well deserved I cannot say enough good about them .
THANK YOU, Kevin 👍😊

Great video Pea thanks
Here in the Bay Area there is a significant Filipino presence. A little south of SF is Daly City which is often referred to as little Manilla. When I round at the hospital there isn't a single unit that doesn't have many Filipino nurses. In fact, I was asked by a Filipino friend to be a sponsor at his wedding in Tagaytay. While in the Phils I also took in Palawan...so maganda.
I like the people, the culture and the natural beauty of the PI. I don't plan on retiring there, but enjoy some of the vloggers...Ms. Pea!

A marriage needs much more than "love" to be successful.
Respect, commitment. That about sums it up. Love, respect, commitment. If both people in the marriage follow that, then it will be fine. It doesn't mean things are always great because there are always tough issues that come up in marriage, none of which should be cheating since that violates respect and commitment. But respect and commitment are what gets you through those tough times no matter how you might feel at any given moment.
but without love it's not worth much
I agree. Love is fickle. If the love ends after marriage, what is there left to sustain the relationship after the love is gone? Important question. More important, can you be financially destroyed by your partner if things turn nasty? Better to not marry and know that the one you love is with you because they want to be, not because they signed a contract to be.
@@thefilipinojoe Teminds me of an old American saying…
You never really know your wife, until you’re sitting across the table at divorce proceedings.

"don't want to move away" ? in the province when a lady gets married she almost always moves to where her new husband lives.
I sure hope this is real love, he's paying her annulment? That means her husband gets a free annulment , and then he's going to leave her alone to go....…fishing.
@@makeitpay8241 they usually leave the Philippines? Or move across the planet?
I'd say that's a big variable. My wife was apprehensive about moving from the Philippines. Now she's a store manager in a pretty large retail chain in the US that's doing very well. However we're retiring in the Philippines. We build a home in 2 years on about 3 acres, not low lying land that will flood in a typhoon, although we have a section of rice field as part of those 3 acres. And retiring there makes sense in many ways. She is more of a family person than me. While she can connect to some people here, it's not like being back home, which is small town/rural and lots of agriculture, and she has all her family including a few cousins. I want her to be comfortable in retirement that she helped to create. I'm adoptable. I can be a loner, but I prefer a partner, and I can be in a large or small group, though I prefer smaller groups. I have to adopt to larger groups to live there, but her family is so welcoming that it's feels easy.
Really I've never seen such happiness in poverty as in the Philippines. But most people have the basics to live because food is so cheap.
Inspired by her recent digital contact with a Viking, the entrepreneurial "P" gathered together her band of pajama clad comrades and staged a raid on the nearby island of Bohol. 😮 The federal government rushed in the Army Special Forces to fight off the wild female clan and restore order to the province.
