The meter is of a high quality and works really well. Not only is it great for helping to find perfect balance in stiff mounts but it is a fantastic aid to fine tuning your mount for the best guiding. It will assist you in adjusting your worm drive/gear mesh to the optimum setting and giving you great smooth tracking and excellent guiding numbers.

Good luck with your build. My first obsy was a small budget build converting a plastic Keter shed. I have a couple of videos on my channel re pier builds if that helps. Later video is same design just scales up
@@Astrobloke yes I saw your interesting videos, and I will do something similar, I bought some insulated panels to do a roll off obsy, 2x2m
So much hard work, I’m guessing ~$30K, incredible final product, just missing a beer fridge 😉
It certainly was a lot of work but so worth it. Actually it was more like $16k but thats only because I did all the work. I think if I had used builders it would have been at least double that and I only know one dodgy one, that does Astro too....lol
