- Kartmate is a wheel barrow powered by your lawn mower, We overload it, flip it by accident, get everything stuck and bury it in snow on our first try.
I got mine at mulchmateusa.com
Stan is the only guy I know that tests lawn equipment in the winter😆
I was gonna go cut some snow today but it was too cold 🤡
Polish Pride right there hahah
And then he would test snowplows and winter equipment in the summer
Love that you actually gave prices and ballparks for other equipment Stan. I hate when people say things are a must have, but fail to inform people of the price. Great video and cool prodouct.👍🏻🇺🇸🇺🇸
I listen and try to improve the videos so thanks for suggestions from everyone.
Having fun, working, and screwing around at the same time = A great day at work. They look like they'll be a great addition to the tool chest.
Like the office wall!
Guys having fun and getting work done! Thanks for putting a smile on my face. They are hard to come by in Feb. 😁
Good to have you watching and thanks for tuning in. I know there is a ton of stuff to watch now a days so thanks for tuning in.
Love the video! They also fold up against the mower so you can save room on the trailer. Love the cart mate idea.
Good to know! I didn't realize that
Getting that Pro Turn to fire in January is like getting a teenager out of bed at 3am!
hahahahahahahahahahahahaha! She popped off good though.
February
Tim: put some chains on her
Stanley: thats what she said
Me: HAHAHHAAHHAA.... wait what?
Too funny👍
Oh boy, took me a moment to figure that out
i cant believe stan still has snow in his yard the amount of times he's plowed it off and snow blown it lol
Right?!? MN WEATHER?!?
😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😜😜😜
I'm convinced he blows it off then blows it back on to keep the fun going
I still got a foot in a half - 2 feet and im just annoyed at this point 😂😂😂
I bet your neighbors are like “ Is it snowing outside again? No, that’s just Stan clearing his deck. I wonder what he’s up to now with his lawnmowers?”
I think my neighbors have quit trying to figure out what Im doing anymore hahah.
Thanks for the review. Always good to see new stuff and what it does or doesn't do. I'll stick with my pull behind trailer.
The real tests comes this summer when I put it to work.
We have one of those and it were a landscaping / lawnmower company and it's great we attach it to our grandstand
Great to know. Thank you
Another good one, keep up the content. I can truly say you’ve helped ppl save money and you’ve helped ppl spend the right money in choices of equipment. You’re a good man Stan 💪🏽
I appreciate that!👍
Love the blue flannel and suspenders!
Thanks- Thats my favorite flannel- its a tough duck- such an awesome shirt.
I bet that cart would work great with a 4wheeler with a receiver hitch
I think your right.
That wheel barrel tire is twice as wide for the ground contact area. Tire itself id say 1.5X as wide but because of it's shape a lot more ground contact which is really good.
I think what is the big seller here is the PRO model because you can adapt your lawn mover with it and have it on your trailer. So even when you haul debris and leaves in bags up it's worth it without killing your back. And the simple quick attachment like a hitch system also can put it onto an ATV as well. So all around best bang for the buck i'd say. And here in Florida where our grass is like swamp those options are even much more worth because it doesn't leave marks and stuff behind.
What we do now need is a mounting system for this on a open flatbed utility trailer. Like weld/or bolt on stake pockets on the nose front so that 2 people can add it to the trailer and than have a 2nd level shelf on their trailer. 90% of the trailers I see out here from lawn care folks are heavy loaded to the dual axle and back but never much on the front.
Great suggestion- sounds Like Nick from Mulch mate will have a good design upgrade with that
I got bored while on break on the farm tonight so I watched your video with the cows. Needless to say the cows and I enjoyed it. Thanks for the great videos.
That is awesome!
Good for a nice big flat estate. Still have to load it by hand, like a power wheelbarrow attachment. Sidehills, forget it.
Move mulch, if its flat ground.
Bush trimmings, I just pull 2 green barrels very easily.
It doesn't seem like it is a go to, use all the time thing. But the right property, could probably use it a ton.
Right on- thats a very good call.
Best line in the vid... "put some chains on her; that's what she said" and of course, the equipment review is totally on point. Thanks Stan
Glad you enjoyed the vid!
I have a long gravel driveway and in the winter it gets a bunch of ruts and holes . This thing would be the perfect cart to carry all the stone from hole to hole. Thanks for testing it for us.👍
Right on
That was the last thing I was expecting to see today. Great recording!
Hope you enjoyed it!
@@Dirtmonkey Haha yeah, the utv pushing the mower pushing the wood 'trailer'. All in the snow. It was great.
I make wise- cracks about people with plows hanging on their trucks in the summer. You could imagine if I saw someone hauling mowers in the dead of MN winter. Lol!
Now, on the other hand if I was to relocate my mowers at this time of year, I would throw the weed trimmers, blowers etc on the trailer just for the heck of it! Intentionally set myself up for smart-askers! 😆
hahaha- I was thinking that while I was going down the road with my front plow on and a load full of mowers on the back. How odd that must have looked haha
I love those electric snow shovels thier not to expensive and work great, even if you brake it no problem. But wind can be your enemy sometimes
Very true!
Hey Stan, you should upgrade your springs on your plow so it doesn't trip so much when plowing
I like the way you think!
I do need to buy one of those Toro snow brooms, would make clearing walkways and sidewalks much easier
Definitely! They are pretty sweet little machines
@@Dirtmonkey Beats my AllPower snowblower, it's a little single stage with a 4 stroke Honda clone motor, runs fine but it can't move snow
Good stuff right there. That pro series is the cats meow. Great video Stan
Nice looking carts. Be nice for around the home
You got that right!
I appreciate the endless hours you have put into your channel. Keep it up
Thanks, will do!
Just a heads up the top hole aren’t just to hold the pins both of those units flip up to save trailer space or for storage
Thank you. I didn't realize that
Testing the new snow care cutter. I was thinking of starting a snow mowing business but to much work
Stan, why are you unhooked it from the lawnmower to put on trailer? Pull pin and flip it up. Made to leave on so can fit multiple units on trailer
That was just my bad.
The end of your video hit the head on the nail, I won't but one because I own a compact loader. Now if cartmate wanted to send me one for free I'd use it but they won't send me one cuz I don't have a subscriber base of over 100,000... with my compact loader I can scoop chips right out of dump truck, transport to designated location and dump right where it's needed. And in most cases maneuver in tighter locales as my loader if I lift bucket up can squeeze into super tight locales versus a long 12 ft machine that is restricted on turning. And the width of my loader is only approx 50 inches so it is narrower then most 60 inch machines that guys use these on.. the benefit with my setup is I do not need a extra body for shoveling and loading product into cartmate as I can scoop stuff right up from truck or pile and do 99% of work myself. As I stated if cartmate wants to send me one I'd use it but won't go out of my way to purchase one as I don't see a need for one, mabye if they did send one they could prove me wrong but I'm almost positive that my system works near flawlessly as I can most likely get into anywhere that the cartmate can access into just as well...
Also why I stay away from the concept it that even thou I have a Kubota with a hydro-gear transmission pulling/pushing excessive loads with the hydrostatic transmissions can ruin them, its been proven time and time again that guys who install thatching units on front of ztrs shorten the lively hood of the hydro transmissions and being that I have a heavy duty hydro-gear transmission I don't know if I would want to chance thr fact, mabye if cartmate would give me some legal guarantee on this subject I might change my mind but....
I plan on testing how well it works this summer on a real job. Then maybe it will help some guys figure out if its right for them.
Too expensive just to use around my yard but a great idea for the guys that do this everyday, they look really well made
They are👍 Thanks for watching
Especially when you can get a pull behind cart for $100. They gotta get the price down on these units
Kart mate and mulch mate is a really good company. They have a ton of other stuff. Great video Stan thank you
Yes they do
"I'm going to pull the big one out. Then I'm gonna pull the...small one out." I'm such a child.
lol. Then youve got to add in "thats what she said" haha
That cart's a brilliant idea I don't know where you keep finding these cool things but just to recommendation they do make tire chains for lawn mowers so if you want to continue to use it in winter time they're only like 20 bucks a set on Amazon thanks again for a great video
Thanks for the tip!
Who else but Stan tests mowers in the winter? Gotta Love it!!
Yes I do thanks for watching
Right?!? Hahaha
Great video Stan. Shout out to the uk and MG&M landscape
Glad you enjoyed it and keep your eyes open for a shout out.
Grasshopper mowers has had that forever. Pretty neat!!
Wait- they have one of these? I never seen one.
The extra hole in the bracket of the RS model isn't for pin storage. It's so you can fold the cart strait up in the air and secure it with the pin. That way when you put it on the trailer you can just lift it up in the air to make room, instead of taking it completely off the frame of the unit.
Thank you!
I hope Stan's neighbors throw a party for him every year to thank him for keeping their property tax values down. I'll bet he's saving them a fortune. 🤣
hahahaha. Maybe they should give me a small kick back on what they save
A classic example of the cart before the horse
Stanley if you ever get bored..... find an old Lawn tractor, find a steep hill with snow on it, give her some power, feel your adrenaline soar through your veins!!!!
Loved seeing you and the crew testing new equipment. Can’t wait to see what’s next. Keep up the great work and thanks for the awesome content stay safe and take care
Thanks! Will do! You too!
@@Dirtmonkey Your welcome bud. Thank you 👍
53 years up there in that environment. now, in florida working on bermuda grass baseball fields and picking up palm fronds 52 weeks a year! easier to cool down than warm up! dont't cha know?
I’ll admit I see a lot of versatility in that dump trailer. If you get a hitch extension you could put it behind the Gravely utv (mind you it will swing out like a big rig when you turn). Or if you own a John Deere X700 series mower you could get a hitch adapter and put it on the front of that.
That might be sweet.
Looks good but I would like to see more of how they work on sod with a good load in them. I would think the castering wheels on the larger one could be a problem on a side slope. It will take a lot of traction and force to swing the front of the cart around when making a turn. Making an uphill turn with a load might be next to impossible.
Right on- I plan on working it this summer on a real project to find out. But those wheels are the same as on the Lawn mower so it should be fine.
personally if i was to spend the 2k almost id just invest in Makita's powered wheelbarrow and loader
I was not impressed with that powered wheelbarrow. the electric paws wheelbarow is outstanding though.
Great job Stanley, love seeing you guys wake up the zero turns in the dead of winter. Would love to see some more skid steer plowing also. Hint hint. LOL God bless you brother.
Good idea...thanks for joining! Appreciate you!
@@Dirtmonkey Thankyou Stanley, I was wondering how many inches of snow do you have so far where you live? We only got around 40 inches to date here in syracuse NY. We usually average around 126 inches a season sometimes alot more. Just I wanted to know what a typical winter in your area was like. Thanks brother.
You might look into an AirJet for your backpack blowers. It turns your leaf blower into a snow blower. Its on Amazon, under AirJet technologies. Its 30ish bucks. Works great in Va... dont know about up yalls way, but for 30 bucks, beats a shovel all day long.
I have a tow behind trailer for my 0 turn mower and it works perfectly and it has the dump option
Nice!
" That's what she said! " 😄
Those are crazy well built units
Yep- that's what she said😉
Love the videos. I hope we get more snow in missouri. Only because I'm a kid and like doing stuff in the snow 😀
If you don't get enough snow your welcome to come to Minnesota- we have plenty to play in haha
Mowers are fun in winter! I use my wright stander to pull the wife and kids on a couple sleds! Super fun!
That is awesome!
Great video Stan
Appreciate it Logan!
Might be better off with a muck truck. Can go off road better too. Looks well designed though 👍🏻
Yeah for sure
Great video as always Stan!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Stan the man has half a mil in machinery only... Business is good...
IF those bungie straps are long enough, move two to the front board. The hooks on it will hold down the front of the side boards.
Yes- True- Thanks for the tip
Great video and review! I want one! Better than a wheel borrow and if you want a wheel barrow you got one too!
I totally agree!
Was wondering if you ever heard of a Altos TRX lawn mower and what you think of them there's not a lot of them in my area however with the higher wet conditions that I have was thinking it would be a better option than tires for me was wondering if you would test one out and give your opinion on it
I have heard of them but never used one.
Do you think the Wright with the dual twheels would have been more affective because of more surface area 🤔
not on the hill- we needed aggressive treads to climb that.
Interesting tool. Thanks for sharing.
You're welcome!
Stan you remind me of a boss I had just out of high school.
On a trip to purchase a new dodge diesel 1 ton we raced most of the 3 hour drive back! 😂
That is awesome!
Love that sit down mower
Me Too👍
Did you know that Frut is also a derogatory turn for a person from Minnesota. Just thought it was a bit cute being you are in Minnesota. No inference implied, God bless and go get em.
I had no clue- Ive never heard that used even once.
I tried to send you a link but it won't go. Google frut and check it out. Love your vids bro.
The extra holes are so you can fold it straight up
Thank you!
GB/GG, Bud... ALL of ya be safe out there!
you to bud!
Stan. Do you know if these carts can hook up to the Toro Grandstand Multiforce? It has the hitch receiver mounted to the hydraulic lift already on the frame. Just wondering if I would have to add the mulch cart's own hitch or would I be able to use the multiforce hitch? Great video!
Man- thats a great question- not sure if it does or not.
@@Dirtmonkey toro should come out with their own front end wheelbarrow as another attachment. They could even put a lift boom on the wheelbarrow and power it with the hydraulic system already on the unit. That would be a game changer for me.
mulchmateusa.com/store/ols/products/hitch-mate-drop-down-for-toro-multi-force
looks like it can with this attachment
@@jleroy74 awesome! Thank you for the link!
That would be “fruit” Stan, not F-Rut
😂
@@Dirtmonkey That's what happens when a marketing team goes unchecked for too long
I love the wall Stan great job. Great review👍
Awesome thank you!
YOOO MULCH MATE OUT OF MARYLAND!!!! Home state love cant wait to see how yall torture this!!!
Great people and great area! More test to come this summer.
@@Dirtmonkey this makes me so happy!!! i love your videos!!! also are you gonna make playlists for like tool reviews and series like the torture tests on equipment?
I want to know what snow blower he was using on the porch. I really enjoy the videos.
Thats was a little toro handheld thing- I think its called a power shovel or something like that.
Great video Stan 🇺🇲
Glad you enjoyed it
I think I would want it assembled, that looks like a nightmare for assemble
it took a little bit but wasn't to bad
Awesome video stan!
Glad you enjoyed it
Bro that’s super expensive for that. In my humble opinion. Great concept
Yeah it is
Stan do you have a good ideas on how to upgrade the cutting edge on the polaris plow you have I have on and I do use to to plow about 10 different places and it goes quickly.
Built one of these a several years ago for behind a regular rider mower. Should’ve patented it. 😂
Maybe you can if its behind the mower and not in front?
Being someone from Houston TX all I see is that snow and I want to play in it.
Weve still got plenty- come North and play! haha
Oh Smitty we are in the middle of a Polar Vortex!! We are talking wind chills of -25 to -35!!! And they are predicting -45 for Sunday morning😩😩. Stay in Houston til it warms up here.
@@1packatak the coldest temp I have ever been in was 29 and that was for like half an hour until it got to 55 later that day. Lol. I would like try and experience some real cold temps one day.
I might have to get one of those.
Those two wheelbarrow things are really slick, you should see if they hook up to any other of your Machines. God Bless!
yes they do. That hitch will work on a few different machines
@@Dirtmonkey wow that’s awesome to know. Thank you.
Great video.
Stan, has anybody told you, you're crazy! Hahahaha! Looks like fun!
Yep-😂
Chains would dominate
oh yeah!
Looks like a lot of fiddling with pins to make it worth while. Cool idea, but I’m not sure if
It’s practical. Also watching that zero turn just get stuck in the snow makes me undecided about purchasing a snow plow for mine. I’ve seen a lot
Of videos where it looks like a great idea, but most don’t show you the bad side. Maybe Stanley can review one
Dont forget ballard sells them and they are one of your guys on the wall for discounted items
Sam might as well move in. He is at your place alot. Interesting piece of equipment.
We work together a lot👍
I must have missed it if you said but what tool were you cleaning your deck with? And how fast does it kill a battery?
Thats a Toro power shovel or something like that. It will do a whole deck on one battery
Really neat idea !! Just seems overly expensive unfortunately
It is pricey but very well built.
Hey you may have said this in the past, but where are you originally from?
Wouldn’t mind seeing a zero turn with a snow plow. Is it bad for the mower are they strong enough to do the job?
No you’ll nacker your mower eventually
I might try to make that video.
If I had money for a gravely I would buy one seems like so much fun
Nice!!!
HAY STAN LOVED IT... KEEPIN IT INNOVATIVE, EASY, AND FUNCTIONAL... STAY COOL AND KEEP PUSHIN ON MY MAN PEACE...
Hahaha👍
Forget the bucket, what were you using to clear off your deck! Pretty cool gadget. Cool video.
Thats a Toro power shovel or something like that
Have you ever tried “Clearly Canadian “ sparkling water? It’s my wife’s favorite.
Never tried it- I will look for it.
That is great stuff!!!!
What is up with Stans Mustang in the garage does he not use it just want to know out of curiosity.
Have you ever driven a rear wheel mustang in winter, unless you are on super dry pavement they are as just about as useless as crutches are on a ice rink... horrible traction no matter what type of tires u put on them.
I use it a few times a year but only in summer.
Those are pretty cool but for $1800 I can buy several wheelbarrows and even a few Lowe’s lawn carts to pull behind my mower
It would be nice to have something like that that you could put in the back of a pick up load it with bags of concrete or whatever and then somehow transitioning from the truck bed to the ground on to that unit unit
That would be slick for sure
Stan are those two front caster wheels greased? There not moving as freely as they should be.
Yep?!?
Very interesting idea! thanks for the great video!
Glad you liked it!
