Finally the IL62 back in town! EW-450TR is one of the two unique IL62 freighters in the world. Awful weather, wind & rain, as well during loading the cargo. A mix of palletized and bulk humanitarian aid. Footage of loading, pushback, startup with distinctive Soloviev D-30 sound, taxi-out and take-off.

Many thanks ! Rada operates the only two converted freighter IL62MGr 's in the world. Even the passenger versions are getting rarer ; only ones probably with Russian Air Force and maybe Air Koryo.

Never seen a ground crew member kick the tailwheel before...why did he do that?

As I can see it: when the tailsupport wheel extends downwards, it is in a position for forward direction taxi manoeuvres, but as it was in the process of being pushed back, a crew member was called to duty to swivel it in the right direction (backwards movement). I guess this avoids unneccessary wear and tear to the tailstrut support wheel?
