Edison said something like: "I never failed; I just discovered 2,000 ways not to make a lightbulb."
oh how far we've come :)
Leo u are doing an a amazing job! Keep going, I wish you everything good in life, keep being inspired and make the best from your talents!
HOW YOU MUST THINK ABOUT FAILURES?
Explorer Mindset....Yep... :)
Thank you Leo
There is no such thing as failure. It is a learning curve of understanding how to do something.
A certain amount of failure is OK, perhaps good. But too much can be crushing. It is important to have at least SOME successes, even if only occasionally or rarely. Otherwise your soul gets crushed. No one can tolerate total failure, year after year, decade after decade.
I really like the cooking analogy at 32:20. Such an immediate way to relate to short game vs. long game.
very cool. i also liked. the power of experimentation! trial and error so that your mind builds a model as to how the thing works.
Man, Leo, I have to remind myself to appreciate all the help from you through these years. The content was really helpful even in the very beginning. Thank you bro! And best things to you!
I only watch in black back ground version damn you growth a lot
This should be in your happiness playlist leo!
Watch it in 2018 seating in my chair which is located in Moscow Russia. Isn't it really mind blowing? And yes i've seen that man which shakes his hand on camera
Another great piece of work by Sir Leo.
Leo is really inspiring to me. 32:50 A perfect lightning in the background.

1. Crazed gold miner vs Explorer: explore things by trying, if failure comes, you explored
2. Single path vs Domain mastery: blur your emotions>>frustrated, happy, crazy,
Mistakes.
Being successful not means that you are good enough in, maybe you even don’t know how you did it, then you will afraid of losing it.
3. Focus on results vs understanding the undiscovered land:
4. Lots of self-pressure vs a relaxed curious mindset:
5. Concept of low-cost failure vs high-cost failure: understand and learn the techniques,
See the cost, is it justifying the result.
Measure it, do it but if sometime you can cross the border, do it, but sometimes.
Sometimes you are afraid of not receiving the result that you want: explorer mindset in low-cost, measure mindset in high-cost
old school leo. great video
25:02 check that dude out!
Very interesting. Thanks
Great old video of you mate!
We learn by mistakes. Well, at least, I do. I look at failures as learning experiences. Experience is the best teacher.
Thanks again, Leo. I will apply this.
In my art, drawing and painting also. This is just what I needed, like all of your videos. And Im applying lots of your stuff.
This came to me just in right time of my life.
Thanks.
Leo, thank you. I truly needed this.

Hi to the guy at the back passing by~
The missing piece in the Jesus Christ story
Near death experiences are a daily occurrence for me. I'm more worried about the lives of my family.

In kayaking we say "if you look at the rock, you'll hit the rock". Not particularly exhaustive advice. But fairly true.
please do second part of this topic. like it.
😜😜 Who is here from Leo Gura's "Requisite Variety & Creative Laziness" vlog episode?
What is failure?
I used this philosophy with my first vehicles. Now, through trial and error, I know how to best enjoy my nicer, often bank-owned vehicles without destroying them.
Thanks again Leo
🙏🏽
Failures are not bad, they are valuable. Tell you what doesn't work.
Thx Leo. I was just fired and listening to you made all the difference.
Love it
thanks Leo!
I've kinda adapted some features of the explorer mindset, but this video gave a nice in-depth dive in to it. Now I know a lot more. Thanks Leo!
:D I like how worried and pressured you look when the weather pushes you :P You sweet ^_^ Your vids are awesome Leo, thank you for helping :) Try not getting lost while developing yourself...
Thank you Leo, helped me a lot. The way you have described it is so clear and down-to-earth. I realised I needed to apply a lot of the tips you gave me ( that Edison example especially resonated with me)

high cost low return: trying out new invasive surgery techniques.
I had to take this video in a two part system in order to gain from all of it. I'm not too sure if I'll be able to incorporate the concept, but I like the direction that it is going. I'll be sure to keep it in mind the next time that I have some form of failure in my life.
“I JUST EXPLORING AROUND. ”
OMG YESSSSSSS I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!
I love the concept of low-cost failure vs high-cost failure.
Such a fundemental video and it fits perfectly with the release date.

Thanks. I feel a bit better about my decisions I've made in my life. Time to explore.
I think what you're trying to say is that things aren't good or bad, they just are?
Did you grow up with grandparents and both parents?
