My husband got a masters degree at the age of 60 - started making pretty good money at the age of 54 - no, it’s not too late to start late - it’s too late only after you’re dead - you made pretty good points until you said at the age of 50,60, it will be over, people’s lives would be ‘squandered’ by then - WRONG! 🤷🏻♀️
Missed the point because your Ego was hit being too close to home. You should know he speaks on averages. For example the average person may be asian because the amor not of Asians in world but doesn't that mean you are asian? Listen again without getting offended and gear a whole new message
I'm still in the stage where I'm just about making a quick buck for material achievements & hedonistic pleasures but maybe in the future I'll get to your level brotha.
Leo, I don't know how much better you can get at articulating and bringing forth your message, you do a damn good job at that, as it is, but I guess there's always room for improvement. In my opinion,, your style is unique and ingenious.
My dad woke some 10 years ago. He says exactly the same things as you regarding deconstructing yourself and dying. He also describes himself as insane, because he knows one can't understand it without experiencing it, although he is perfectly rational like yourself. I've always had a troubled relationship to my dad, even though I know he loves me, so it's difficult to accept what he is saying, due to my own shadows, and due to fear of death and losing loved ones. But it's fun to see that some guy across the globe says exactly the same thing (we’re from Norway). You two should talk, although I suspect you have no such need ;)
I would like to give a personal thank you To you leo 🙏🏼 Because of your spiral dynamic series you’ve helped me become so much more social as I have the upper hand when it comes to understanding the people around me It brings me great peace and even though a model not reality it has brung me leaps and bounds further in my development
I agree that in order to be successful you have to discipline yourself to build an incredible skill. But sometimes what people dont think about is one of the toughest things about success is not gaining it but sustaining it. And sustaining it can be way more taxing than gaining it. Most people if they could build a skill to have success would not want to deal with the incredible pressure of sustaining it. As the famous saying goes in new york big law firms - this is a pie eating contest and the reward for doing well is more pie. Also for anyone reading the comments do Leos life purpose course as he references at around 45 minutes. Im 36 years old and have had some successes being a professional baseball player, opera singer and lawyer over my life and the course is extremely helpful for anyone at any level to gain further insight into what they want to do with the rest if their lives.
So Leo, you went full circle , looks like it , back to useful down to earth self development material. Good stuff , thats why i was here in first place 👍🏼 Don’t get me wrong all your spiritual videos are valuable and next level , but don’t think people are quit there where you are in this journey, hence your new chanel I suppose... 41:15 - Using your skills to climb out of the hole of wage-slavery. 56:01 - Most people suck at investing in themselves long-term. 1:04:40 - Talking about the Hero's journey vs experiencing it.
Another wonderful and deeply important topic from Leo 💖 My favorite line- “Do you have a reference experience for what that means.. this is what makes you a true hero, the experience of that, not hearing about it from crusty old professor who hasn’t done it himself." Amen! 😂🙏
I listened to one of your videos from I believe, 4 years ago then watched one from a few months ago, and I instantly heard the difference in your tone and your enthusiasm. So I think that happed without you even trying. Unless, you meant changing your tone intentionally, focusing on something specific. But I just wanted to share that info. Thanks for all your insights.
Hi leo, this video comes out at the perfect time for me because I'm trying to figure out what I want to do in life I'm done working in my meaningless job I want more , I decided I want to bake cakes cuz I find so much joy in doing that I thought it was the easiest thing ever but i was so WRONG i failed so many times yesterday I filled again and I was so frustrated I watched you videos and now I know what I have to do so thank you s m , i was talking to my mom and she told me that in her days they didn't had cooking books or a tv she didn't even know what a cake is , some day her friend comes from the city with a cake and my mom lOVED IT so she tried to make one without any cooking books or tv she only had a redio so she will write the recipe really quickly and then she tried a lot of times to get it right and eventually she made the perfect cake, when she told me that story i thought to my self we are so lucky we have books intranet tv and a lot more we can learn anything we want unlike the generation that was before us and we're not even aware of this
51:16 this is why you are great at this. I used to wonder everytime , how can this guy talk at so great lengths and that too with such a great articulation.
Hi Leo, I’ve been following your channel since 2013. I will say. You are ever so excellent, even through the flaws. I see your growth. You are absolutely invaluable. One in a million. ❤️
Leo would you consider making episodes targeting people at the early 40s and above? I have been following you for 7/8 years now and your teachings completely changed my life (including your life purpose course). Younger guys have plenty of years ahead but then on the other hand older folks already have some “experiences” and learnings. It would be cool to have some episodes targeting more mature folks, also because your audience is/will be getting older and the older one gets perhaps more prone to be spiritually developed one becomes. However, all episodes are extremely valuable anyways.
You’re a legend and a love you sharing your growth as a human being - very inspiring I can’t wait for your videos to come out - so truthful and researched. You have changed my life Leo. I admire your intelligence and deep research and honesty into every video you do. Never before seen anywhere ….. all’s I can say is thank you x
Leo, this is perhaps my favourite videos yet! A truly sublime pep talk. This topic is also reminiscent of the book Mastery by Robert Greene, and The Little Book of Talent by Daniel Coyle. Would highly recommend. They are all about the process of mastery. Yet they don't supercede this video, as Leo brings such a big-picture perspective on the value of experience in all shapes and forms. Mastering a field is only one piece of a much broader pie.
I exploit every human, that I contact, with my knowledge, skills and abilities in the adroit use of Power, Influence, Manipulation, and Control. I often get whatever I want, if only as an idle curiosity - like watching an amoeba moving towards the light on a microscope slide.
Your comment sparked my curiosity, could you explain a little more on your thought process and what your goal usually is, if possible could you provide some example, sorry to bother, just find myself fascinated by this type of people and would love to understand them
Thank you so much, this video helped me immensely. I always was afraid to put myself in knew/uncomfortable situations because I am really afraid of failure but thanks to your video I now see failure as a positive thing and gave me courage. You really unlocked something in my brain. Thanks again and keep up the good work Leo 😊
„Reframe every failure, as a stepping stone, towards larger success“ - if there something to learn form this video, it’s this, along with building a vision with focus factor skills and aims to develop and work toward, in order to enjoy life, living your purpose.
Leo: I appreciate all you've doing. Suggestion: be a little less contemptuous and self promoting in your delivery. You work hard and haven't mastered it all. So do we all. Even at Amazon. We all need each other, oh you know it's true. Even as bad examples.
I have over a novel worth of writings and 50+ recorded songs that I never published, simply because I didn’t think they were good enough or they were slightly unfinished. This video has helped me recommit to my music production.
I am so happy that this video is just about basic self help for i have noticed that when i consume too much of the advanced spiritual stuff overtime by i noticed that in my thinking both consous and uncously i start to not care about getting rich and the other basic survival stuff, which made me stop listening to them for a while
I love both the spiritual and the self help stuff but i think many people, myself included, got caught in the trap of advanced spiritual teachings but not having any foundation. Like a stoner who is all spiritual but has no job and lives with his parents. And i did that myself because i was too afraid/lazy to put any effort in the material reallity so i just concentrated on the inside world. But it is just an escape from things you have to do to live a fullfiled life.
Thank you for the validation! I have struggled for years just to get myself not to feel so guilty or like a terrible person for wanting to experience other kinds of relationships (eg poly) esp coming from a traditionalist culture. Most of the validation had to come from within.
тоска Toska (Russian) Russian word roughly translated as “sadness, melancholia, lugubriousness.” According to Vladimir Nabokov: “No single word in English renders all the shades of toska. At its deepest and most painful, it is a sensation of great spiritual anguish, often without any specific cause.”
However really good tips about taking courses in trying to better ourselves and not just waste of life away with watching TV playing video games you know social media it’s a really good tip
I quit my job recently because I cared too much about what people thought of me, I was people pleasing, I made 100k a year doing nothing. I had to quit and be in a worse position now to realize I wish I never quit and to learn to put my money first. After 6 months of searching for another job, I've found nothing but damn have I learned a valuable lesson. I also was abandoned by all my friends who I had always supported but didn't want to even talk to me after I quit.
The beginnings. I avoid looking up because the infinite that is the sky really channel those thoughts. I have discovered many things throughout my life by accident, so I concur.
🌈☀️💚🐛🦋 Hey Leo. This was a good video, and it stirred up some emotions like... envy, guilt, discomfort, resistance, apathy, hopelessness, as well as some like motivation and vision-thinking. I have a hard time with content like this because I don't feel like I have any passions, I feel like a social recluse, I don't have anybody in my life who I connect with or is interested in self-actualizing, I feel very disconnected and alone and like there's no point to anything. I don't really have many talents or skills. My biggest passion is mastering myself and my psychology and emotions, and I really love sharing wisdom the once in a blue moon moment an opportunity presents itself. I work as a pharmacy tech in a hospital and I'm around spiritually unconscious people constantly, I'm the black sheep at work. I'm gay and it's hard enough to find a relationship with a guy who is gay let alone into self-actualizing, I can't see myself dating someone who's not on this path and I have no interest in sex unless it's monogamous and loving so I don't even want to check out that rabbit hole. I donno. I've only been on this journey not even 2.5 years so I'm giving myself like some space for the learning curve. I meditate three x 1hr sessions every day, and I practice mindfulness throughout the day. I just feel like I don't know what there is for me to do? I feel like maybe I could be like this spontaneous spiritual teacher who shares wisdom with work and friends as it's needed when the time is right, but it's hard because literally nobody around me is interested in this stuff. So it's like I want to be a spiritual teacher of some sort, but there's nobody to teach. I would love to just fuck off somewhere and go on retreat for years, but I see that that can be running away, that the real "retreat" is everyday mundane life so I'm willing and accepting of that to the best of my current abilities. I haven't had any breakthrough experiences or mystical experiences. I am very curious about psychedelics, but don't have any friends who'd babysit, and it's challenging cause my parents and friend would freak out because of my past history of addiction, and I wouldn't put it past my dad to call the police on me if he knew with the mentality of "well you have to learn your lesson the hard way," but that's not his place? I don't know, I feel like I'm in a rut right now, I'm back into gaming addictively now, final fantasy six has always been my escapism game, so playing through that again. I feel like maybe if I make some deep progress and have a breakthrough with my meditation and concentration, perhaps my mind will like evolve or upgrade and my perspective will shift and I'll regain energy and motivation. I'm wondering if I'm in like a multi-year long dark night of the soul or something. I feel like I should be so much farther along with how much work I've done, I'm just feeling like I'm not seeing the results I should be seeing. Having faith, I have heard the analogy of how the bamboo tree grows in the ground for like five years then just suddenly shoots up and grows like feets per day, hope that's my situation lol. It'd be really great if I could have an insight or breakthrough, or find somebody who's on this path that I can be friends with and actively hang out and grow together, bounce ideas and things off of. I just feel so... Blahhhh. I keep telling myself things like "this is part of the process. You'll look back and know this was all necessary. The pain and suffering is what grows you. The sense of time taking forever is a gift because then you'll appreciate eternity when you realize it. Everything is here already within. You know you see how pointless the way you lived your life was before and you literally can't go back, so just accept that you're having a down period and just keep persevering." And I have been, theres no real problem. My life feels like so safe and consistent that it's like.... Killing me lmfao anyways needed to vent to SOMEbody even if nobody fucking reads this. Thanks, lots of love
@@graceoline no prob! It was enjoyable reading my comment to see how I felt 5 months ago LOL i feel a lot less resistant to the things I was resisting in that message, but still a lot of things are similar. I feel like I'm significantly more accepting and non-resistant to the aloneness I feel, and it's becoming more apparent how much of a teacher that is for me. I am also appreciating my aloneness more and seeing the positives of it. Hope this is motivating from a 5 month later version of me LOL 😇💚 Also I'm seeing the importance and value of continued persistence and faith in the face of bleakness, and I'm noticing acceptance is really starting to improve which seems to bleed into everything else in my life in a positive way. Keep going!
cool! didnt know you made a video 5 days ago about the very urgent topic that has been bothering me the last days. I will try listen to this the next days.
Great lesson Leo, you becoming better teacher you give so much for your followers here. I get it now, that moderation is important (weed, psychedelics, spirituality, food), and I know I need few skills as a musician 🧑🎤 guitar, piano, writing, performing, singing. I will keep going, smarter then yesterday I know I got at least until 33 to be ok 😆 but that’s ok 👌🏻 . I’m thinking maybe studying law or something that will get me good money to raise a family and do whatever I want but I try to go smart and choose something that compliment the music maybe studying law will make me more well worded ✍🏻. Keep goin all of you here , do what you must , and beyond And do it well
You're very inspirational and that's what I think matters most! But also I believe we are capable of learning from others' experiences, so we don't have to repeat everything ourselves, maybe a little better.
I think my biggest skill is analytical thinking. I think that I've fallen into the trap of being a critic. I often waste energy on pointing out other people's shortcomings rather than building my own constructive skills. Sometimes this leads to the people I interact with getting noticeably better in their lives, but at the end of the day I am starting to question my ways.
Hey Leo , thanks for the amazing work , I would like to recommend you to add subtitles to your videos , I always remember how lucky I am to access the language of English but I know that not everyone have this access , much love from Brazil !)

Ye
I'm still in the stage where I'm just about making a quick buck for material achievements & hedonistic pleasures but maybe in the future I'll get to your level brotha.
Leo, I don't know how much better you can get at articulating and bringing forth your message, you do a damn good job at that, as it is, but I guess there's always room for improvement. In my opinion,, your style is unique and ingenious.
It's bottled authenticity shining bright
My dad woke some 10 years ago. He says exactly the same things as you regarding deconstructing yourself and dying. He also describes himself as insane, because he knows one can't understand it without experiencing it, although he is perfectly rational like yourself. I've always had a troubled relationship to my dad, even though I know he loves me, so it's difficult to accept what he is saying, due to my own shadows, and due to fear of death and losing loved ones. But it's fun to see that some guy across the globe says exactly the same thing (we’re from Norway). You two should talk, although I suspect you have no such need ;)
I would like to give a personal thank you
To you leo 🙏🏼
Because of your spiral dynamic series you’ve helped me become so much more social as I have the upper hand when it comes to understanding the people around me
It brings me great peace and even though a model not reality it has brung me leaps and bounds further in my development
Im 36 years old and have had some successes being a professional baseball player, opera singer and lawyer over my life and the course is extremely helpful for anyone at any level to gain further insight into what they want to do with the rest if their lives.
took your life purpose course about 5 years ago. best thing i ever did.
Where can I find that
@@tonywitdasauce1968 it should be on his website
So Leo, you went full circle , looks like it , back to useful down to earth self development material. Good stuff , thats why i was here in first place 👍🏼
Don’t get me wrong all your spiritual videos are valuable and next level , but don’t think people are quit there where you are in this journey, hence your new chanel I suppose...
Keep it up 👍🏼 👍🏼👍🏼
Leo: I'm not some master
Also Leo: This is God Speaking to you

Not sleeping till I’m done with this video, thank you Leo!
Couldn’t recommend Leo’s life purpose course enough!
Only 4 weeks in and it’s changing my life, I am now excited about life and doing work everyday I am passionate about, work I’m inspired to do, work that puts me in flow
There are few things in life as good as being on your purpose! If you’re thinking about it, don’t hesitate, don’t waste your life, trust me you won’t regret it ❤
Thanks!
@@ActualizedOrg appreciate everything you do, you’re one of my biggest role models, thank you 🙏
Thanks to Leo's teachings I now have my dream job, I now have the golden opportunity to make millions of dollars in income and really create the exact life that I want. The beautiful and loving fiancée, the great children, the dream career. Man 'o man.. Words cannot express how I feel now.
Hey! Thank you for still making your thought provoking videos. I’ve been a fan for years and I haven’t watched in awhile. I’m been feeling that familiar pull to my spirituality and looked you up! I find your thoughts fascinating ✌️Thanks for being here!
Remember this. Your life has meaning, your body is precious and every experience is a teacher. Love is the Guru 💕
41:15 - Using your skills to climb out of the hole of wage-slavery.
56:01 - Most people suck at investing in themselves long-term.
1:04:40 - Talking about the Hero's journey vs experiencing it.
Reassuring to know that buying books and spending money travelling is well spent!!
You're a machine Leo! So many videos love it!
Hi leo, this video comes out at the perfect time for me because I'm trying to figure out what I want to do in life I'm done working in my meaningless job I want more , I decided I want to bake cakes cuz I find so much joy in doing that I thought it was the easiest thing ever but i was so WRONG i failed so many times yesterday I filled again and I was so frustrated I watched you videos and now I know what I have to do so thank you s m , i was talking to my mom and she told me that in her days they didn't had cooking books or a tv she didn't even know what a cake is , some day her friend comes from the city with a cake and my mom lOVED IT so she tried to make one without any cooking books or tv she only had a redio so she will write the recipe really quickly and then she tried a lot of times to get it right and eventually she made the perfect cake, when she told me that story i thought to my self we are so lucky we have books intranet tv and a lot more we can learn anything we want unlike the generation that was before us and we're not even aware of this
Don't quit, keep following your passion.
Yes true 💚
Thanks so much for all the sharing of your gifts and being yourself brother we're all in this together. 💓
When I'm 50, maybe I'll make some of those.
Tom. Your comment scares me. You are very dangerous.
Your videos are basically your insights that you share with everyone and they are pretty good :)
I love the trial and error approach.
The Osho starring reference was amazing..
That was also a trainned skill.
Thats right. Business is basicly getting somebody what they want with as little friction as possible.
„Reframe every failure, as a stepping stone, towards larger success“ - if there something to learn form this video, it’s this, along with building a vision with focus factor skills and aims to develop and work toward, in order to enjoy life, living your purpose.
Congratulations, Leo! It's a pleasure to witness how you and your business keep growing and changing over the years.
Gassho,
Marius Brückner
Leo: I appreciate all you've doing. Suggestion: be a little less contemptuous and self promoting in your delivery. You work hard and haven't mastered it all. So do we all. Even at Amazon. We all need each other, oh you know it's true. Even as bad examples.
I have over a novel worth of writings and 50+ recorded songs that I never published, simply because I didn’t think they were good enough or they were slightly unfinished. This video has helped me recommit to my music production.
Eye-opening and helpful thank you so much for sharing your wisdom!
So eye opening I can’t thank you enough, I’m strategizing and taking proper action right now this is it wow just wait you’ll see Leo
I am so happy that this video is just about basic self help for i have noticed that when i consume too much of the advanced spiritual stuff overtime by i noticed that in my thinking both consous and uncously i start to not care about getting rich and the other basic survival stuff, which made me stop listening to them for a while
It us through trial and error that we actually develop ourselves and become better
I really needed to hear this right now in my life.. thank you Leo ❤
But it is just an escape from things you have to do to live a fullfiled life.
there is nothing you have to do. If fulfillment was dependent on any partiqular thing or activity, then life would be poorly designed
Leo, I commit to you man to man that I am gonna develop extraordinary skills in Copywriting, Philosophy, Hatha Yoga & Public Speaking.
Please Leo make more these types of videos.
One of the best, most informative, and motivating episode yet.
Thank you for the validation! I have struggled for years just to get myself not to feel so guilty or like a terrible person for wanting to experience other kinds of relationships (eg poly) esp coming from a traditionalist culture. Most of the validation had to come from within.
Nice
тоска
Toska (Russian)
Russian word roughly translated as “sadness, melancholia, lugubriousness.”
According to Vladimir Nabokov: “No single word in English renders all the shades of toska. At its deepest and most painful, it is a sensation of great spiritual anguish, often without any specific cause.”
No human can prove we’re not dreaming or living someone else’s dream so therefore I believe we ARE living a dream 💁🏽
I'm impressed how you remember everything you have to say...
Do you wanna know each other better?
Another great episode! Thanks Leo! I like how the episodes are now really built on the top of many others thus it is much more enriching!
Amazing timing with this one.. Currently struggling very much due to some resent failures..
However really good tips about taking courses in trying to better ourselves and not just waste of life away with watching TV playing video games you know social media it’s a really good tip
wow thank you! i needed to hear this today
Synchronicity again. Thanks for this Leo
Leo thank you for adding value to my life
I quit my job recently because I cared too much about what people thought of me, I was people pleasing, I made 100k a year doing nothing.
Ohhh nooo
they were not your friends
Thank you for kicking my ass again ❤️🕉️🌈
Feels like christmas came early from actualized lately🙌🙌
The beginnings. I avoid looking up because the infinite that is the sky really channel those thoughts. I have discovered many things throughout my life by accident, so I concur.
Just started.. And I have a feeling this one's gonna hurt
🌈☀️💚🐛🦋
Hey Leo.
I found this incredibly relatable. Thanks for making me feel less alone
Keep going!
Love this! Don’t know why I’m just finishing this one.
So on time for me. 🙏🏾😍
cool! didnt know you made a video 5 days ago about the very urgent topic that has been bothering me the last days. I will try listen to this the next days.
Thanks for sharing. It's nice hearing clear ideas from another mind
You are 100% Right with this sir!!!
Great lesson Leo, you becoming better teacher you give so much for your followers here.
I get it now, that moderation is important (weed, psychedelics, spirituality, food), and I know I need few skills as a musician 🧑🎤 guitar, piano, writing, performing, singing.
I will keep going, smarter then yesterday
I know I got at least until 33 to be ok 😆 but that’s ok 👌🏻 . I’m thinking maybe studying law or something that will get me good money to raise a family and do whatever I want but I try to go smart and choose something that compliment the music maybe studying law will make me more well worded ✍🏻.
Keep goin all of you here , do what you must , and beyond
And do it well
You're very inspirational and that's what I think matters most! But also I believe we are capable of learning from others' experiences, so we don't have to repeat everything ourselves, maybe a little better.
damn leo, so eye-opening! awesome video :) thanks a lot for providing that quality content for free! Much appreciated.
Amazing video as always
I think my biggest skill is analytical thinking. I think that I've fallen into the trap of being a critic. I often waste energy on pointing out other people's shortcomings rather than building my own constructive skills. Sometimes this leads to the people I interact with getting noticeably better in their lives, but at the end of the day I am starting to question my ways.
periodic table was actually dreamed up by a Russian in his dream!!!!! Some awesome video thanks Leo and I just subscribed to your new channel.
Hey Leo , thanks for the amazing work , I would like to recommend you to add subtitles to your videos , I always remember how lucky I am to access the language of English but I know that not everyone have this access , much love from Brazil !)
Great practical advise! Thank you for share this type of content man for real
im really gonna try Leo, thanks i hope i can take this opportunity and do something meaningful i want to offer good art
