  • I have this noise in my 2000 toyota tacoma, i already replaced U-joints, center bearing support, transmission mount, add grease to the yoke but nothing seems to work, I think is one of the differential bearings, what you Guys think?

Differential loss its backlash Normal with high mileage toyota you may have to replace ring and pinion bearings.

Mine has a clunking noise on take off. Sounds similar to this. Does anyone have the same issue and know what the cause is?

if it does it at the take off, U-joints may be bad

Mine does the same when switching to reverse and drive. You figure out what it was?

unfortunately I didn’t, what i do now to prevent the noise is shift it from reverse to neutral wait one second and then drive 😁

The bearings inside the differential were the issue, needed to be rebuild
