Ya sold me......I just ordered the same one today. As these videos are about 3 years old. it would be nice to see how well the machine is holding up for you
I just received one of these, had issues just like you described plus mine would not seal. A lead from the transformer to the seal bar was not crimped properly and just laying on the floor of the unit. I had an aluminum one in my stash, the one they used was silver plated copper, very good quality. If you are handy and can fix these simple issues, this is the best bang for the buck chamber sealer. I sealed a 5lb bag of flour no issues, I have resealed a couple of frozen steaks I had in zip lock bags and a frozen block of chicken broth. First on my list was the Vacmaster P215( NOT P210), they did not have any available- this one was half the price and seals larger bags. If you are not willing or able to fix things and just return them, this one is not for you. It did come securely packed...but be prepared...I used two claw hammers to pry open wood shell.
I have used this to seal 20lbs of flour( 5lbs packaging),, sugar, baking powder, steaks, chicken etc. I have used this to oil wood knife handles with food safe mineral oil - deeper wood grain absorption. Hamburger was a trick, you have to increase the surface area and the time by rolling it out so air can leave the grind. I cant imagine using zip seal bags any more, after owning this appliance. VACMASTER, if you look, it has more features you would not notice, like an exhaust filter, pneumatic lifts for sealing etc For home use this is perfect, honestly if I could have bought the vacmaster I would have. This is about 28.8 vacuum, so I am currently happy.and can do all that I need at half the price and wider bags. The vacmaster is 900 dollars, this item less than 450 delivered, its Chinese, like my ge freeser. Its hard to find anything made in US anymore, I tried.
So happy to see you are learning how to use it and it is working out fine for you. That is GREAT sealing. Isn't it fun? I was worried you would not be able to understand what and how, being you were left with no instructions and nothing to go by? GOOD for YOU! Now you can seal your marinade to soak before cooking.
Came across these videos while looking for info on this vacuum sealer. This seems to be the only video with this particular model with the Chinese writing. All the other 260c videos are maybe the same internals but have a different user interface for north America use. I appreciate this video, I'm thinking of dropping the $600 CAD on this.
@@Begohan1234 There are two models, a 260c and a 260s. Other videos that say they are the 260c that look different to this machine are quoting the wrong number. One of the videos saying it's the 260c even showed the back panel and read out the model number that was 260s. The 260s is smaller and manual, you have to hold down the lid to start the pressure and lift the lid manually when it is finished, it is 120 Watts and has the sealing bar in the front. The 260c is larger and 300 watts with the sealing bar at the back. It is digital and automatic, you don't have to hold the lid down, it starts automatically when the lid is closed and the lid lifts automatically when finished. A company in Australia called Vevor sells both models as well as some larger ones. There also seems to be a 260s model that is labelled as 260c.
you want to be very careful vaccum sealing a LCD panel or LED panel like a phone or palm device as it will cause the panel to burst inside. I know as I did exactly that on a toshiba laptop and it burst inside, it was only noticeable though when you started the laptop up and then the screen did not work in the area that failed so be careful....Seal yes, Vaccum seal NO.
I am very happy to hear that I did indeed purchased one and expect that it will arrive either tomorrow or Monday. I am actually looking forward to arrive in the big crate if not I will be disappointed. I did do a lot of research before purchasing this exact one but with difference blue accents. Actually will be a Christmas present for my wife, but I am also excited myself can't wait to put it to use. Have a great day everyone
@@USA__2023 I purchased the cheap Chinese one it must have been in a damp Warehouse on the floor the inside bottom plate had a little rust on it. I cleaned it up and been using it ever since, it has never let us down. We use it almost on a daily basis I am happy I purchase one
Thank you for the video sir! I noticed that your model goes from green to red on a gauge, but mine, same model and number and everything, goes from red to green. Doubt that it matters, just an observation, to add to what you've said: Same model, different companies.
⚠️ Your comment is triggering and is giving me severe anxiety and I am about to have a panic attack! I’d better go upstairs and tell my Mommy. 🫣😉🤣 You nailed today’s youth ! 👍🏻🇺🇸
What is the largest bag width you can seal? My rolls of bags are 11 inches at the opening and I want to make sure they will seal in this unit. I have noticed that some of these sealers are only 10 inches wide. Thanks for the video.
On the model he has is 12 inches. I have a newer version of it. The chamber is wider than most at 12 inches but not a lot longer. 12 x 13 is the biggest bag it will do. The chamber is 11.5 inches long. Still a very nice vacuum sealer for the price.
Thanks for the review and demos. I'm a first-time chamber-vac buyer and you may be changing my mind on this unit. I've heard of many bad experiences like the wiring issue mention before. How long did you own the unit before you posted this review and how is it performing today?
I agree for me too. I LOVE my food saver 5480. It does a lot more than Tom can do with his. Like pulse to not crush, A tool to vacuum reusable zip bags and containers, and a place set roll in machine to pull to cut to size, etc. etc. I have a little Aicok that is real handy.
For what these units are, I still think that they are WAY too pricey considering the quality of the build & internal parts. I would bet that most of the cost is the Stainless steel and plastic lid and low cost pumps on these units. BUT with all that said, where else are you going to find a unit unless you build one yourself ! The price of doing business.
Ya sold me......I just ordered the same one today.

Your accent and personality remind me of my much missed grandfather. Thanks for hitting me in the feels! I wish you all the best!
you should increase your cooling time, it should be twice the time of your sealing time to save your sealing bar.

Will the sealing bar do a 11” wide bag?

So far works like it was new. Don't regret getting it . Thanks for watching. Happy Holidays.

At the end of the cycle it lets the air IN.
You are making me hungry looking at all that meat. Thanks for the video.
I just got one but its not sucking the air out ? Its brand new
This brand? Did you ever figure out what the issue be was? Curious because I was considering purchasing this brand.
I'm told they don't come with oil in the pump, fill it with vacuum oil
Looks like you got the Dz 320c model and they sent the wrong one.😁

Yes, still using it ( Kay). Thanks for watching.
@@aroundthehousewithkaytom162 Thanks for the update. Really considering one for homemade jerky and sous vide cooking.
What oil do you use for the vacuum pump? Could I use the same oil that I use for my car's engine?
Mineral oil

Bought same one when vac pump stops I loose half my vac before it seals so it never has all air out when finished
Did you ever figure out the issue out about it not drawing out all the air? I ask because I'm interested in purchasing this unit.
Increase the suction time
How much was this unit?
It was just under $400
Where did ya buy your bags from
how tall is it from the bottom of the tray inside, to the tallest part of the inside lid?
About 4.75"
