    Hey Dave-I'm so jazzed about this product, I bought one last week. My little story on this, was, that I did a ton of comparison shopping online, videos, reviews, the whole bit, which also included your vacuum roundup video. That's the video where I almost bought one of those "other" sealers for around 1000 bucks, but then!!!!!!!!!!!, out of the blue!!!!! drum roll here!!!!!!!!!! I thought I'd looked at every sealer there is, but, then I saw the JVR Vac 100. I swear, it almost jumped off the page when I saw it. I had a really good feeling about it from the get-go and then read the reviews, which were all positive reviews. I honestly didn't want to spend this much money for a sealer, but after reading all the bad reviews of even some of the expensive sealers, I knew this was the one. So far, I love it, and plan to buy some more canisters, in addition to all the bags I bought. Thanks for a great review here, and I can't say enough good, so far, about this machine. Marc T.

      That's great to hear Marc. I've been testing this model since last year, so I have a good 200-300 seals in at this point, and I'm quite happy with it. Love hearing that I'm not the only one!

    My foodsaver isn't cutting it anymore. I have to smush my ground beef before sealing to get most of the air out, and even then it will still oxidize. Time to upgrade, thanks for the discount code!

    I purchased mine over a year ago, and love it. Customer service is excellent and I have had no problems with it. Changing the oil and filter is easy. Put my foodsaver in storage. Savings in bags is tremendous, and being able to seal sauces without freezing first is awesome. Great video!

    Mine will be here tomorrow 12/21/24 and can’t wait to experiment with it. Got the retort bar and the 3 gallon pot. Oh and I used your code for the $100 off.

      We just used ours today for 5 bags of pork belly that we cut up for future recipes. We use it all the time, and I know you're going to enjoy it if you're anything like me. Congrats on your purchase, and have fun!

    I have had decent luck with Cabelas Liquid block using my external Vacuum sealer, but I am still looking at getting a chamber sealer. I would love to see the Cabelas brand sealers reviewed.

      I haven't tried the liquid block in an external sealer, but I'll have to look into it. Also haven't worked with a Cabelas brand sealer yet, but I'll see what's possible in future content.

    Can you vacuum seal a 1 quart mason jar with dry goods or berries inside if you put it on its side in that circular depression?

      I feel a simple mason jar vacuum sealer would be easier for that, but i don’t have a chamber vac yet🤷🏼‍♂️

    My question is, if this is the go-to chamber sealer for you, why was this not included in the chamber vac round-up review you did before this?

    • @TheBarbecueLab
      @TheBarbecueLab  2 месяца назад

      JVR saw the vacuum sealer roundup that they weren’t included in and asked if I would like to try their sealer shortly after we published.

    This was the one I really wanted. However I went with the Avid Armor USV32 as I didn't think I could justify the extra $250 or so this one represents.
    Cost saving tip: buy bags from web restaurant store, a 1000 count case of bags ranges from $22 (6x7 3 mil) to $140 (12x14 4mil), so MUCH cheaper than most other places. I just got 3000 bags shipped for $140 or so (a case each of 6x7, 8x10, & 10x13)

      I was goping to do the same thing but the USV32 didn't have the accessory port. I went with the Vac100 should be here tomorrow!

      @HandfulOfTranquility 4 месяца назад +1

      @@JoeFerlisi the USV32 does have an accessory port! You pull the sealing strip off and the machine comes with a rubber stopper you put in the suction hole and turns it into an accessory port. I've used it this way for marinating meat in the suction containers

    The Meat vacuum Sealer Co. The worst custumer service I have had in the last 15 years! I paid more at Cabela`s but it was worth it!

    You mentioned the six best things you liked about this vacuum chamber sealer. I noticed one wasn't the price so I looked it up. Folks need to know it costs $899.00 and shipping may not be included. Too rich for me dude.

    • @TheBarbecueLab
      @TheBarbecueLab  3 месяца назад

      Yeah, it’s hard to put a price in since it automatically dates content. Someone will watch this at the time of publication and the price is correct. Not too long and inflation or changes to price happen, and people are mad that it costs more and we’re talking about a price they can’t get anymore. It’s a lose/lose for us.
