The love and affection between Larry Hagman and Linda Gray was true friendship. He only starred in the new Dallas as a favour to her. When he was dying she visited him every day and helped him. We all dream of friendship like that.
That stare combined with the music at 3:30 is enough to prove that JR will ruthlessly come after anyone who double crosses him.....RIP Larry Hagman you left us way too soon
JR Ewing was my favorite Character of all time! I grew up on this show..my granny watched it every Friday night and I was there with her! It will never be another Gillian like him!
Never cared for the more murderous JR in the revival series, but he still got the best lines and delivered them like nobody else. Just look at his eyes when he's talking to Sue Ellen at the ball. Amazing!
"My friends are in the statehouse. My enemies are gonna be harder to find"......if JR went to Heaven.....he's sittin on the best cloud with Jock and the others. If he's in Hell.....he's already taken Lucifer's seat.
I miss this man ((Larry Hagman)). IMO there will never be another character more evil and cunning than JR Ewing, and Mr. Hagman played him with gusto. RIP Mr. Hagman, thanks for the memories.
The revival finally got JR's character right again after the dreadful final original series where he became a shadow of himself losing everything and feeling sorry for himself.
Pure class Larry hangman as Jr ewing with jock ewing those were the show . Booby class to had to have him to and rest of the cast, jock started it off then Jr took over dallas was jock+Jr
Can't wait to see the Original Dynasty Cast Come Back As Their Original Series Characters Alexis is Evil Psychologically and Funny As Hell. She Was Beautiful and Hysterical ❤️❤️❤️. Adam Was Creepy and Weird, But You Liked Him Anyway Because You Want To See What He Is Going to Do Next..He Was Great !! He was like a Younger Version of the Great J.R. Ewing. Miles Colby is An Untapped Property.. He is a Man who wants to be 💯 His Father, Jason Colby in Business. Sable is a Witch with a Good Heart who wants to be Loyal To Her Man. Jeff Colby is a Sweet But Ruthless Person in Business who wants to be Loyal to the Family but Successful in Business. Is a Shame 😑 That John Forsythe and Charlton Heston are Both Gone, Imagine what Blake Carrington and the Billionaire Jason Colby will be Like Years Later.... Even Zach Powers is Gone. He was an Honorable Man. But Put Adam in Charge of the Carrington Oil Company and You Have a Great Show Set Up 👍...
John Ross is no chip off the old block unlike his screen father and grandfather he cant act for toffy and thats why the new series barely lasted for two seasons because the new actors might have been very good looking but acting wise they lacked in screen presence or engaging acting ability
Christopher was adopted by Bobby and Pamela and, therefore, not a blood Ewing. That's why J.R. never had any use for him. Christopher was actually the biological son of Kristin Shepard (Sue Ellen Ewing's sister) and Jeff Farraday. Despite Christopher being a blood relative of Sue Ellen, J.R. still detested him.

“Son, never pass a good chance to SHUT UP!” Classic JR.
Im actually taking that advice
Goosebumps watching this. We lost a national treasure.
wow, that is the greatest line. "The best way to know a man is to talk to their friends and their enemies".
“Time has not been kind to that face! But I do recall the smell of brimstone and crazy!” 😂😂😂
Larry Hagman didn't skip a beat til the day he died👍
That stare combined with the music at 3:30 is enough to prove that JR will ruthlessly come after anyone who double crosses him.....RIP Larry Hagman you left us way too soon
1:28 is much better :)
A true saying that came all the way from Jock Ewing "REAL POWER IS SOMETHING YOU TAKE"
JR Ewing was my favorite Character of all time! I grew up on this show..my granny watched it every Friday night and I was there with her! It will never be another Gillian like him!
I liked his quote..”Old Foggies like us don’t e-mail, we talk to eachother”
Actually Jock said the "power" line to Bobby but damn sooo true!
Yes but hes probably said it JR before
He did say it to Bobby but J.R. was present.
"Son, never pass up a good chance to shut up!!"
"Now I loved my daddy, and i respected my daddy, but most importantly... I feered my daddy."
God rest his soul, Larry is sorely missed 😢
2:00 I FELT that. I feel the exact same way about my dad.
Give'em,' enough to shut'em up and I'll shut'em down..Love Larry Hagman, R.I.P..
2:39 Watching that smile on Larry's face makes me think that he and Jack Nicholson must be brothers. :D Both legendary actors!
Actually Jock told Bobby that real power is something you take. Jr just happened to be in the room, when jock said it.
He might have told it to JR way earlier, it just was Bobby's time to finally hear it.
Never cared for the more murderous JR in the revival series, but he still got the best lines and delivered them like nobody else. Just look at his eyes when he's talking to Sue Ellen at the ball. Amazing!
Time has not been kind to that face.
I split my sides laughing 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
I love 😍 Larry Hagman, I love J R 💙💙💙💙❤❤❤💘💘💘
Josh Henderson did an awesome job as John Ross 💫 shame it was cancelled
No Dallas without Larry Hagman.
Always loved the barber scene...loved my daddy and respect but feared him
IMHO you forgot the "Bullets don't have much effect on me, darlin'." One of his snappiest lines in the revival.
He's been shot three times in the old series. A bullet finally took him out in the end cause he didn't want to suffer with the cancer
@@faithwatkins7811 Actually, he was shot four times in the original series. He was shot by Tom Owens, Kristin, BD Calhoun, and Sue Ellen.
"Real power is something you take" - Jock Ewing to Bobby Ewing circa 1983.
1980 you mean.
"My friends are in the statehouse. My enemies are gonna be harder to find"......if JR went to Heaven.....he's sittin on the best cloud with Jock and the others. If he's in Hell.....he's already taken Lucifer's seat.
You know that's the truth
Gee - I wonder which one he's in!
2:23 A Dallas/24 crossover where JR meets Tony Almeida😂😂😂
I miss this man ((Larry Hagman)). IMO there will never be another character more evil and cunning than JR Ewing, and Mr. Hagman played him with gusto. RIP Mr. Hagman, thanks for the memories.
God jr ewing class best ever.poor larry hagman bless hos family xx
Don't FUCK with JR!
“Now go book yourself on the Titanic.” 😂😂😂😂😂
Young JR was evil but handsome. Old JR was evil and LOOKED evil! But both had the same charm.
Not old JR.....Golden JR.
Time has not been kind to that face-lol!
Brimstone & Crazy... LOL.
The revival finally got JR's character right again after the dreadful final original series where he became a shadow of himself losing everything and feeling sorry for himself.
Still dissing Pam.😂😂
3:29 😂😂😂😂
Pure class Larry hangman as Jr ewing with jock ewing those were the show . Booby class to had to have him to and rest of the cast, jock started it off then Jr took over dallas was jock+Jr
he's a chip off the old block is one of the greatest scenes by jr he was stone cold
Never double cross JR Ewing.
yes
Dallas good for business experience
2:24 is that Tony from 24?!?
WE NEED.HIM BACK ! ESPECIALLY NOW
JR as old as he was in the original series still has the nastiest demeanor around and it showed too bad the reboot did not last long. RIP Larry.
dressshoeguy he wasn’t old .. in original..
It was sad to hear JR voice sound this way.
Can't wait to see the Original Dynasty Cast Come Back As Their Original Series Characters
Alexis is Evil Psychologically and Funny As Hell. She Was Beautiful and Hysterical ❤️❤️❤️.
Adam Was Creepy and Weird, But You Liked Him Anyway Because You Want To
See What He Is Going to Do Next..He Was Great !! He was like a Younger Version of the Great J.R. Ewing.
Miles Colby is An
Untapped Property..
Is a Shame 😑 That John Forsythe and Charlton Heston are Both Gone, Imagine what Blake Carrington and the

Even Zach Powers is Gone. He was an Honorable Man.
But Put Adam in Charge of the Carrington Oil Company and You Have a Great Show Set Up 👍...
and whos to say that he didn't say the same line to JR when he was growing up?
one rule dont cross j.r
Wasn't Christopher biologicals parents were Christine and JR?
Her bf after Jr. Jeff faraday him n John Ross really are 1st cousins tho.
Who can play the role of a JR Ewing
I wish he had appreciated beautiful Sue Ellen sooner!
Wendy Richmond she wasn’t beautiful when she got old.
Winnie Johnson she’s absolutely gorgeous to this day. You’re a horrible person - let’s see how good you look when you’re older. Twat.
J.R. was jocks age then
John Ross is no chip off the old block unlike his screen father and grandfather he cant act for toffy and thats why the new series barely lasted for two seasons because the new actors might have been very good looking but acting wise they lacked in screen presence or engaging acting ability
Actually John Ross is even worse than his father.
agree 100%. The actors had 0 presence.
Afi James haha that’s what he said..,but he was want a be..
So J.R. never liked Christopher?
Christopher was adopted by Bobby and Pamela and, therefore, not a blood Ewing. That's why J.R. never had any use for him. Christopher was actually the biological son of Kristin Shepard (Sue Ellen Ewing's sister) and Jeff Farraday. Despite Christopher being a blood relative of Sue Ellen, J.R. still detested him.
JR& CLIFF: GRUMPY OLD MEN
I think Judith light Done it.
old jr was neighbors and buddies with keith moon!
En français aucun intérêt à la reprise de cette série arrêtée en 1991. reprise en 2012.
Just did not like this Jhon Ross
Couldn’t stand Bobby’s wife here.
I loved the relationship between J.R. and John Ross, and yes, John Ross is a chip off the old block.
