The wax on the shoelaces is something I don't think I've seen here either. I know wax is used for waterproofing, but I guess it might also be to help stop fraying :o

I’ve always enjoyed watching master craftsmen work. Just watching, one can learn so much. Men like yourself are artists....but, during this part of history, I must admit that the fist bumps at the beginning are one of my favorite parts. Humans are not meant to be alone, and your simple act of companionship warms my soul.
Teach your son your skill of being a good person, the rest will take care of itself.

What's up with 58 dislikes? Angelo is the best shoe shine man out there and he is even better at making videos that calm your nerves. I want hear from the ball busters as why they dislike this video. Is it the alternate ending? If so, those techniques he uses is what it makes it so hard to keep your eyes open during his classic shines.
Well actually none of his videos have dislikes ! whats actually happening is people are trying to hit the like button BUT they fall asleep mid way and accidentally hit the dislike button. I mean that's the only logical explanation ! haha

I would of liked to have seen after Angelo finished shinning his son's shoes, then having switched around with Angelo senior in the chair just to see how Angelo Jr goes shining his dad's shoes. Another relaxing video and yes I liked the extra bit at the end.
When you say 'would of' as in "I would of liked"... it is supposed to be 'would have' as in "I would have liked". You're welcome.

My late grandfather was my personal ASMR artist (before it was even popular). He was a carpenter, and his presence was always accompanied by different lovely sounds. I could just sit next to him and listen.... .
When I listen to your videos all those nice memories come back. :-D
P.S. I struggle with Compex PTSD, and ASMR videos have super therapeutic properties for me. Thanks to ASMR I have much less panic attacks and my musclular tension gets better to the point I can relax my muscles in arms and back.
People like me will always be more that grateful to people like you. Basically You're God's gifts to us. Your amazing skills and techniques of producing lovely sounds are our medicine. Not to mention, that now I fully appreciate shoe shining as a form of unique, fabulous craftsmanship. It's a true art! God bless!

Tried it. Felt weird. I am not that tall.
Now that I've found a world of asmr for the past 4 years, I realize it was normal all the time! I was always drawn to normal manipulations like a man washing his car, a person picking nail polish from their nails, 💅, a mom cleaning her baby's ears, etc. ... All those things relaxed or lulled me to sleep. I add shoe-shining to the list. 😊😊
