Nice 1 Davey, should give you half a chance with the ASHP👍 I've recently just put a frame around my pond and used Poly material, its lovely and toasty inside, don't half hold the heat well. and a bonus when the sun comes out as it alows the UV to pass through but also its free heat even when the sun isn't that intense. Ps, keep an eye out in the post👍😉
❤those grow on’s are stunning. I feel covering is the way to go bro Davey Boy.. keep that heat in.. save on the electricity and the koi will benefit bro❤ just my 2cents.. lol
Hi davey, If it was be I would use polycarbonate sheets that what I have got on my pond my pond is 12ft long by 8ft wide by 4ft deep mate hope that helps you mate. Steve
I've never covered my pond's in the 37 year's of having them. Only had the filters water freeze up 2 or 3 times over the year's. The main pond has had ice on several time's but the fish have all been ok except for one year when I had 2 small tosi turn upside-down (still alive) . I'm not keen on covers as I like to see them to check and my pond's a funny shape so awkward.
AR BIN YA ME MON, have you thought of putting a batton about a foot up the fence and putting the tarpaulin off that going over the edge of the pond, doesn't even need to be a foot just enough for a fall. Good Luck ME MON 👍🙏💪
