Here in Brazil, where the electric energy is generated mostly by hydropower, this would be very significant. There, the electricity is produced mostly by burning coal and natural gas. I didn't make the calculations, but looks like it is just changing the place where the pollution is produced. By the way, I really loved the car. Just wondering how we can change the energy source and I'm sad we don't have Tesla in Brazil.

Isn't it a bit dangerous if cars are completely silent? Sometimes, with bad visibility, up to now the car noise is the only thing to warn you. Maybe there should be some noise generator that only works outward to warn pedestrians or cyclists.

If pedestrians are stupid enough that they need the sound of an ICE to warn them before they cross the road - then that's survival of the fittest. Hint: exhaust on rear of car, very well muffled
