Kohli was so good but he often couldn’t close matches. I thought after he beat Roddick at the AO in 2008 that he would explode but it just never happened. He barely even made the top 20….think he was only there for a few months. He had a long, solid career but was a huge wasted talent at the same time
Totally invalid point. Federer could have won all 4 slams in a row 3 times, djoko could have won 6 slams in a row had he not lost to stan in RG 2015 final.
8:41 Probably the greatest shot that was ever made in tennis history. Absolutely brutal.
That banana shot vs Verdasco is much more famous than this, because of the tension that point was played on.
Yeah, well, in terms of important point, sure. But this one here is better overall.
NLLeFa I think the forehand hit on a smash at the US Open from way outside the court is Nadal's best point tbh.
ao nadal vs federer, 2012, this ruclips.net/video/UV2s9aSyy9k/видео.html
@@josegiklk3198 I challange you ruclips.net/video/9AgTRydkcaI/видео.html 44:52 btw.
huge shot making by kohlschreiber here
That footspeed is something else..
7:59 even the opponent smiles
How is it that in 2 decades of playing with shotmaking like this that Kohlschreiber has only ever reached the quarter finals of a grand slam once?
Consistency… Or the lack thereof across a whole match. He bagelled Nadal in Miami in 2017 - and still managed to lose the match 🤷♂️
Competition. Right now he surely would have
I was waiting for someone to counter with "Kyrgios has only made the QF of a grand slam twice." but now it's too late for that.

Nadal wasn't as good as he was the previous year at AO though he won the match and played some gorgeous winners
Had Rafa won AO that year he would have won all the majors...

@Menon - all he said was nadal could have won .. why r u looping in the other two ?
plus he was defending champ here
8:43-8:50
Nadal outplayed the German so bad (especially first and third set) but he almost loses
