    Excellent sir. But may i know where that flash when you take a shot come from?. Coz what i know you only use one light from that softbox

    • @MichaelRoninTV
      @MichaelRoninTV 4 года назад

      The softbox is the flash, it has what's called a modelling light which just acts as a normal light so you can see what you're doing. Once you take the photo the modelling light turns off and becomes a flash/strobe. I hope that helps :)

    • @Calibrepics

      There's no flash on the camera. There's only one soft box for lighting.

    • @Zondaa
      @Zondaa 2 года назад

      @@Calibrepics Oh! So it’s the light in the soft box which flashes brighter for a second? The constant light is just a ‘guide?’ Thanks!

    • @Calibrepics
      @Calibrepics  2 года назад

      @@Zondaa The flash is a broncolor studio lighting. The constant light is a modelling lamp to preview lighting effect, its not meant for exposure.

    Hi jimmy, do you have a video that describes the type of camera I need and the basic lights i need to get started with product photography?

    • @Calibrepics
      @Calibrepics  7 лет назад

      You can start off with a macro lens but really, if you're not shooting closeups or small items, a zoom lens is adequate. Lights wise, start with understanding natural light like window lighting. If you intend to use artificial lights, start with basic lights like household lamps.

    Those are Broncolor studio flash units. Not continuous light. The background is your standard 4x8 foot laminate supported by a pair of C stands with an aluminium rod. Thats a small Chimera shallow pro plus softbank. Thanks for all the views and comments. Sorry for the late replies.

    • @Calibrepics
      @Calibrepics  8 лет назад

      You can get the formica or laminate top from any large home furnishing DIY shop or one that specialises in furniture cut wood. A aluminium bar attached to a pair of lightstands w superclamps

    • @Calibrepics
      @Calibrepics  7 лет назад

      Most laminate supply shops offer a large range. A c stand or a pair of regular light stands secured with a pole or bar would do the trick. With Super clamps and A clamps.
