Jeeeezzz! The title makes it sound like it was a simple process. This was a very sophisticated shoot with lots of expensive accessories. Top of line light stands. Etc. etc.
Glad you're back! I've watched a ton of food photography videos from more seasoned RUclipsrs. Mostly, they tackle gear or tips, but none of them discuss light as much as you do. Keep up the great work!
I came across ur channel about a month ago. Ur videos totally opened a whole new world of lighting in food photography to me. Then after binging a lot of ur videos, I'm shocked to see that u haven't uploaded for awhile. So glad u are doing well!
I've discovered your channel i little while ago and was kinda sad when i found out you've stopped making videos. I'm happy to see you now though! Keep inspiring us! :)
Another thing you could do to make sure the photo is taken with no vibration is with using the time on the phone instead of just taking it immediately when pressing the button.
This is so super informative. Really great info, and a much deeper, but still quick understanding of lighting and set up. I see some people making comments about how you didn't JUST use your phone and an app, but I'd much rather have a more in-depth understanding of lighting and how things can be set up with different tools than to try and figure out why my dollar store equipment and phone camera aren't producing quality photos (been there for months). Having a better understanding of lighting in general in this sense is already helping understand where I've been going wrong, and I'm getting a better idea of what I can do with the means I have to get better product photos.
UHM OMG??! You're back, and you hit the ground running. This was phenomenal and I appreciate the approach so much. I love that you gave us some insight into your inspiration and were so incredibly thorough in showing us the step by step process. I'm so happy to see you're back! 🙌🏼
Thanks Leena! Glad to be back and to hear this video helped. As always, I appreciate your continued support. I'm sure this goes for many people in this comment section as well 🙂
thing is many people try to skimp on the photography , most sites i visits , they think their products look ok with their phones but theres a massive difference from ok to amazing , around 30 -40 % in productivity .
This video is extremely informative. You can do a LOT with just one light. I was surprised to see there was enough bounced light reflecting the bottle from behind to give it enough of a glow to not have to light it separately. The large v-flat advice to lighten the shadows is gold. The other option is to use multiple lights to light the back, sides and front label or one light to light all angles separately take it into photoshop, which I would rather not do. Just get a proper tripod and don’t worry about the low shutter speed. Thank you!
One smartphone and one light… and 10 other accessories.
lol
make it simple lol
@@gorillagluinit lol
1 very large expensive light
haha
Figandlight: "keep it simple"
Also him: *immediately over complicates it*
ikr
Gotta get it to 10 minutes somehow
WAS HIGHLY CONFUSED
Title was very clickbait
LOL
It's been a LONG TIME man, welcome back again.
