Second ride on the stark Varg and it's been enlightening. Still wish it had a clutch, but the forks are pretty great. More to come later, but this might end up being the best hill climb bike I've ever ridden. That is a little sneak peak for you!

Kyle, please get this in some tight woods. I don't know if you have any local, but I'd love to hear your feedback on some tighter, slower, more technical stuff. Especially how the weight and lack of reciprocating mass impacts its maneuverability and if not having to deal with those forces leads to less rider fatigue.
I’ve ridden mine for about 4 hours in tight steel single trail and found it so much better that working a clutch and gears . Climbing hills is like cheating on the varg especially when having to start on a hill and gain momentum fast . Can regulate the throttle for such precise power delivery . And having hand rear brake is a game changer . I hate having my foot out of position constantly covering the rear brake in case of an unexpected obstacle . Having it right on your finger is so good
Its the heaviest bike hes owned there wont be any benefit
I just completed 5 Miles of Hell with mine. Was actually quite surprised how well it did! Didn't think about the weight a single time. Had 45% battery remaining when I got back to the truck. I'm in love with this bike!
Il tell you how the Stark performs on Florida single track by an A level racer.. my Stark was delivered with left lever rear brake, 18 rear wheel, worthless kick stand and an even more worthless 80hp. Torque is great at @45hp. Left lever rear brake is very intuitive, weight is a non issue.. handling once the suspension is "softened up" is quite good. The bad is always staring at the battery level which is very dangerous under racing conditions..Bike is near silent so passing a slower rider is always hazardous... Bottom line it's a expensive novelty and once that novelty wears off..my Stark will spend more time sitting ina corner..And as for recharge?... Super slow, spare battery swap trackside ?. Ain't happening.. can't be done ina timely manner plus the spare battery is @$8500..
@@BERZERKERSV4 Want to sell it cheap? Looks like a great bike to me, but because you are so unhappy with it, sell it to someone that will enjoy it.
Kyle, regards to your lower back, I got the same issue. I found great relief by riding with my hips unlocked. Not sure if you do this, but basically reverse curve your back like a weight lifter does when doing a dead lift. It takes the tension off the lower back and puts it into your hamstrings. My hamstrings are super tight (mountain biker...), so it easily supports me with a lot less effort. It doesn totally solve pain in the lower back, but greatly reduces it.
When you open up the clickers, You are opening up the free bleed that allows more fluid to by-pass the compression shims making Lo speed softer.
Recommend doing the same on the shock, especially if it gets really rocky. I have pretty much all adjusters backed out all the way on the shock, otherwise it’s very stiff.
how about a comparison video between your time on the stark varg compared with ktm 300? Maybe on the dragon back trail, as you have done in the past. I would be fun to see which bike is faster on a technical trail
I actually prefer the shorter sidestand since I only use it in the woods, makes it much easier to find a spot to place the bike on uneven ground.
How much time do you spend staring at the display waiting for limp mode ?
In the last video going through rollers it looked like your rebound was way too fast it looked like it was deflecting bad
This and now other reviews might be changing my mind a little bit about e bikes. 😅
Get a ride on one you have no idea how good they are . 👍. Smoothest power you could possibly imagine
🤢🤮
Kyle, we're all wondering yer thoughts on the new 2025 KTM's that came out yesterday 4/9/24
They are all orange and now have a black seat . There you go review done. How could he tell you nothing else the bikes aren’t out yet !
@@Ozfreerider2504black frames and not as stiff. Nice try tho
@@stevedouglas1654 and how would kyle know what they are like exactly? They released a PICTURE of he bike literally yesterday
It will be the same thing slightly changed 😂 boring
@@terryfinch9319 I want a 2025 Husky TX300 anyways. Hope it comes with a white frame. The current dark blue one is ugly
I have a Surron and it is fun to ride but I realistically only have 1.5-2 hours of hard riding available. Which is good for after work hitting the Mountain Bike trails. I would like to know how long these can last. I have seen guys at the MX track run them a long time. On a track I think the bike could out last what energy I have.
Yeah, Kyle is pretty biased towards various bikes and I bet would not consider that a motorcycle.
I'm pretty average when it comes to riding the track but with my Varg I get about 1% per minute at 60 HP on a hard packed track. That's a lot of 15 minute sessions! The bike outlasts me without charging.
I would way rather see reviews on the beta and xc. That might have helped with the sweepstakes.
Yup, that's all you. Ktm same same, beta same same
kyb makes the best suspension period
Didn't watch the review. Came to the comments wondering why he's reviewing what's known to be the best fork for the last 2 decades... OFC it's good.
I've been on a YZ250X, it's incredible how much better that fork is than the one on my KTM 350 exc.
What is the drone you use that follows you?
Pretty sure it's a Skydio
Sounds like you are just used to riding on stock WP suspension where the clickers do nothing.
That’s exactly correct! WP sucks
I don't even like aer forks but that's not true. The clickers make a significant difference on my 300xc.
I want one
Is there something software wise that you could change to get a higher top speed?
140kmph isn't fast enough lol?
The top speed is probably limited by the battery voltage, which is why it doesn't change with the peak power setting. Double the battery voltage and you double the top speed, assuming the inverter can handle it, and not accounting for rolling resistance. You'd need a full schematic and an electrical engineering degree to even know if it's possible.
Battery voltage ? The motor would be speed limited , and therefore yes in a roundabout way its voltage limited . The bikes fucking haul ass so there’s only one reason they stop at that speed and it’s because of limitations of the software . A new sprocket would change everything. It’s no different to any other bike that has a rev limiter . They can just have the motor spin to 50,000 rpm
Any miles per charge report yet?
He’s milking content for clicks which is fair enough . He’ll just be drip feeding info over 20 videos
Turns compression and rebound clickers all the way out, then is surprised it’s too soft 😂
Probably designed the kickstand with 17 inch sumo wheels
Do you have any new two stroke vids?🙂
2 strikes been the same for years go watch an old one
Sorry, but it sounds like you're riding a power wheel 🤭 the lack of combustion engine sound kills it for me.
Then buy the $50 FMF mod if you are so warped about sound
WELCOME BACK TO THE STARK VARG CHANNEL
So the stark didn't impress you the kyb shocks did 😂
Kickstand and tubes suck in these, going by reports 😑
First
Stark Varg is beating all 450 pro riders with all great statistics reviews ! go ride some moto /woods stuff maybe see it SHINE ! everybody says its fast /too go fast and turns on a dime torque insti nt -what more want from a dirtbike ?? SOUND ? put a 2 stoke sound stetem speaker system on it !!
Where where is it "beating" the 450s?.. it's not .... Maybe in a drag race in a RV park.. On the track?.. no way in hell... The battery will go into limp mode after @25 minutes at 60hp.. nothing like limp mode at the face of a triple.. don't believe me ?.. Watch Don T's GP race outing at Glen Helen . The Stark Farce and the bike is DANGEROUS WHEN IT HITS LIMP MODE .!
@@BERZERKERSV4 GO RIDE ONE - see for yourself- you will like it alot ! ive ridden for 40yrs+ and been on all of them -game changer without noize!
Just like E.V.'s no one wants these.
No one besides all the buyers, lol.
@OtisFlint And how many have sold? Manufacturers have cut back on production because they're stockpiled with ev's.
I want one. Granted I wouldn’t want it as my only bike but I’d definitely take one lol
@KingofKahkis You gonna pay for it or you want it given to you? They'll sell some as a novelty and that's it.
I would buy one once all the quirks are worked out, absolutely. Everyone needs two bikes 😆
Do you think anybody cares? What you think about it at 40 or 45 horsepower? It sounds like you're just milking content time
You care. You cared enough to click on the video, then you cared enough to comment further helping this content in the algorithm. If you don't like it, don't watch. Lots of other dirt bike content out there for you. People will complain no matter what Kyle does. Too much KTM content, don't want four strokes, EV sucks etc. Get over yourself.
