This is exactly what I want to see! An incredible ride off road in amazing trails. Put some protections and off road tyres and ride it like this! I love your content. New Sub!
Current crop of small ADV bikes and some of the bigger ones too don’t sound anywhere near as good as this, it’s as if the Chinese have made that a goal on their check list from the start. Seeing you ride it through some of the tough sections on the stock tyres makes me realise just how capable this bike would be with properly set up suspension, better off road rubber and a few other minor adjustments. When I get mine I’ll get the crash bars, auxiliary lights, decent bash plate and go the 15/45 sprocket and chain upgrade to ease its cruising ability on the highway. Other than that this bike is truly something special for any money in my book.
Nice ride and brought a smile to me being an Australian - "See that wedgey? Fuck that looks awesome..Probably looks smaller on the Gopro - scared the shit out of me". *Aussie, Aussie Aussie Oi, Oi, Oi 🪃
Finally a genuine review by someone who can actually ride!!! It's not another daily video by fanboys rehashing the pro's & con's of others, purely for the sake of building their channels. I learnt more about the bike's capabilities from your video than from the dozens of other youtube submissions currently uploaded. Thanks mate.(Subscribed)
I'm convinced both by the bike's capabilities and your riding skills, harsh terrain always is like 3x worse in real life tha what it looks on video, when i saw the sandy part i knew i would have probably fallen in my bike. I lack skills and my bike isn't as well suited as this bike, reasons why this bike will replace my Versys X300.
@@Al.j.Vasquez it’s all practice, as they say it’s 80% rider 20% bike, sand is tricky and probably hard to find in some areas where people ride and I think a lot of people hate or are scared of sand. But if you find some give it a go 🤘🏼
I'm so looking at this bike since it's release. I want to buy this one and replace my crappy 125cc bike and get a real motorcycle. Paved roads are non existent here and just pure dirt, deep mud, sand, sharp rocks, and gravel. I want it so bad but I'm on credit limit😅. Also, if I manage to get that motorcycle, it will be the first 450cc motorcycle here in where I am. All motorcycles here are 125cc and max 150cc. Anything above 300cc is considered a big bike here🤣.
Great ride mate, what part of Oz are you in? Just picked up my MT450 last week… then caught Covid from some inconsiderate mofo 🤬so watching these vids is the closest I can get to getting out on mine atm! Have subscribed to go on more adventures with you mate. 👍
Very cool offroad review; Im getting mine this week and planning to either cross the Peruvian Andes or go back to a more desert like environment at Paracas bay (south of Lima)
I've had mt 450MT for about 3 weeks and love the thing. Way more fun in the rough stuff than my 1050XT. I heard you mention Gellibrand? Where abouts where those tracks and roads, I'd like to give them a go!
On the west side, was tuckers orchard, cricket pitch trk and rapier ridge is a good one, if you like very sandy and whoops then peppermint parade is great 👍🏻
Hi Eddy, thank you very much for video. I am thinking of buying this one. How do you found fit and finish? Have you seen any blemishes on paint, or any bolts or cables loose?
Seems ok, the finish is good quality will definitely be good competition to the other brands. I’ve only had it for 2 weeks so give it some time to see any problems. You should go to a dealer and see one in the flesh.
@@MarioDiaz-co3px no, as soon as I saw this bike online, I knew it would be good. I looked at the KTM 390 the Himi wasn’t on my radar as my sister worked in a bike shop and said they had a lot come in with problems, but that was the old model not the new one.
Hour and a half riding, I think I had 3/4 tank and it was saying around 200klm to go but went higher the further I got, it must recalibrate when you going slower, but it’s saying 4.4 ltr per 100km average

Great honest review as ever Nathan, thank you will look forward to your insights on this after you give it some more stick
Thanks for the genunie rewiev of MT450. Greetings from Turkey.

low mudguard version is the winner- the one with the moto mudguard looks shi7e - nice bike
Finally, one actually off-road and on some interesting tracks, thanks for sharing the ride. Bike looks pretty capable.

Thanks bloke, I’d like to think I’m just an average gumby rider bringing my point of view and hopefully it’s entertaining 👍🏻
Glad to see you got your bike Eddie, what better place to try it out. cheers.
Thanks Bazz I’m having fun on the lil beast 🤘🏼
I 've been looking for a video like this, on a 450 mt, thanks for it, Probably made my mind to buy one finally :D
Glad I can help 👍🏻 more fun to come
Bike looks and sounds good...certainly are popping up everywhere 👍
Yeah the stock pipe sounds good, it’s like a mini T7
And you picked the best colour
Looks like we got our 450MTs from the same dealer. Great bike! I've been waiting for an adventure bike with a nice low seat height for a while.
Yeah I was told August for delivery so when he rang and said your bikes here, I wasn’t ready lol
@@EddyOtway Yep, early delivery was a bonus!

Sweet ride. Offroad tires and more gas would help in that sand
Thanks for the review . Which area of Aus did you ride ?

Still undecided between the Himmi or this one, did you go through the same feeling? Great vid!!!

Shout out for what the bikes for
How's the highway speeds? I have the bigger brother 800MT and would love one of these...
Sits on 110 comfortably even though she revs a bit but it’s like butter, smooth. A lot of people are putting a 15 tooth sprocket up front.

Seaview Track well cleared as always
Didn’t do Seaview, these are all west of Gelibrand
