Looks like a fun ride. I have ridden all over Asia on a lot of bad roads. Quick tip is never to accelerate on a mystery surface like that bridge. For water crossings, wood bridges, cement creek crossings with moss, I always do the same thing. Carry a bit of momentum into the crossing , with neutral throttle. So I never accelerate, or back off on the throttle. Bike sounds great !!!
Laughed so hard at the "Excuse me" at 26:58 😂 Great content. I also own a crf still trying to decide about whether is it worth to upgrade or continue on my reliable light bike. Not sure the weight would be manageable for a 62 kg rider who rides alone most of the time. Also it seems like your tire preference was on the spot. Cannot imagine the stock tires on this terrain. Keep up good work, you deserve a sub👍

@@888jimmy Surprisingly I don't think I had any issues with the stock fender in the mud. The high fender is on order, a bit of a wait time I think. (Looks better) In hind site, don't try to gain momentum on a dodgy bridge.. just push it back up the hill first 😉
@@wally1166 I've got the Forma Enduro Pilots, as I like a pivot point to walk around. If you watch the whole video, you'll find a shot where I'm taking off my boots and pouring water out. Definitely no dry feet on that day 😁

@@TwoWheelerSparky I noticed you were both riding somewhat like I did-more like road riding off road, looser and quite passive. I’ve been a competent road rider for decades so assumed it would transfer to the trails with a bit of time I’d just adapt. The guy who assessed me said, like most competent road riders, I was heading for a nasty accident which was almost complete avoidable. The riding position, stance, use of controls was completely alien to me at first, but after several hours of slog it started to become more natural. Once I learned to lock into the bike and make it work for me, I was no longer just a passenger hoping I could blast my way through the next tricky bit. If you haven’t had off road training I’d look into it, not only will it make you a safer rider, it makes it a lot more fun rather than laughing at the crashes.
Cool video mate. So what are your thoughts on the bike? I love mine but it's my 1st adventure bike. I've done several dirt roads and a couple of creek crossings but my 1st real off road rugged trail I came off and was lucky I had the crash bars installed. Poor old ADV Brett coped a hiding off you pair. Hahaha

you did well, as there is a big elefant in the room... pros would just fly over everything, mainly because they use and control momentum and speed, whatever the bike. But can we really do it far from nothing, crashing at speed having more consequences ?.... I did once a very muddy part, with lot of speed. Was super easy, but hen I turned back and rode slower with more care, it was total mess. same apply to ricks, river beds, etc...
@@babar69110 The 'Pros' don't show us the footage of their crashes; just the moments they finally get the shot for their Instagram stunt. You won't find many high speed race's on this channel, I've got bills to pay after the weekend 😁 My channel is usually scenic rides, finding great views for those drone shots.
@@DevoidFX Agreed. I definitely need to invest in a better mic and compensate in the settings. Sometimes it sounds fine in my headphones editing and then RUclips compression does its thing... I try to improve with each edit, cheers for the feedback 👍

Just be aware there 2 different size bushings between the lower and upper crash bars.
One is for just the lower bars only and the other is for both.
