Lol yes! Also the incredible ability to grab your shirt and give you a painful hug 😅 Had that happen to me once, was using a powerful corded drill and it tore up the side of my chest
What have y'all thought of The Mandalorian so far? Better than The Rise of Skywalker definetely, not that thats hard to do lol. I can't wait to watch the season finale tonight!
😱 How can you have not seen it yet! lol It was fun to watch, not to think about. The number of plot holes was ridiculous, and it messed up a ton of previous star wars history
I haven't watched a single star wars movie in my life. I know the storyline from playing Lego Star Wars at my grandparent's house when I was a wee little lad but that's it.
@@HappyMadScientist First of all, you are a sad human being. Go watch some star wars. Its a shared cultural experience. Second, lego star wars? lol XD haha lego star wars and lotr was my entire childhood
This is such a cool channel, I'm suprised I havent seen it yet. When you're working with gasoline, just be aware that it likes to melt plastic and rubber components like the fire extinguisher o ring seal and possibly parts in your solenoid. Also if you want a hotter and longer lasting burn, try mixing 25% disel to 75% gasoline. Be safe, keep making cool stuff!
Yes! I neglected to mention it in the video... I made sure to clean out the parts with water afterward, and the solenoid I used is rated for fuel lines so that part is safe. The solenoid is the only parts i'd be real worried about, the rest i can watch and tell when the hose for instance starts wearing out. As long as the gauntlet doesn't start spraying gasoline thru the solenoid when I'm not ready to
My birthday is next month and I wasn't sure if I really wanted a welder or a stand drill, I wasn't sure what to say when my gf would ask me that terrible question "what do you want for your birthday?". Now I'm 100% sure I NEED a welder. Great video, really informative too especially for that voltage booster thingy trick.
If you have a good hand drill and a vice like i do, I find I very rarely need to use my drill press. And when I do use I could get by without it, it just makes it a bit easier. I basically only use it for drilling out knife scales
Could I use a similar set up using the same parts but putting cornstarch in the fire extinguisher and using a propane tank to pressurize it and making the cornstarch more ignitable? I’ve seen something like that but don’t know what parts to use so your links would help tremendously
Would a cheaper pressure regulator do the trick? I also build a flamethrowers but I normally pressurize the can that has the fuel in it rather than having the pressure and the fuel stored in different places however for the new one I’m building I’m going to be separating them. the one you got was $60 and I don’t want to have to drop that much money on the project so would a cheap one also work?
If you can find one that handles the high co2 pressure and brings it down to a pressure your fuel tank can handle... sure. I couldn't find a cheaper one, so I just paid the money.
JB Weld. The walls of the fire extinguisher were pretty thin, so that just made sure it was solidly locked in place as well as sealing up any air gaps.
@@jakemakes No, I thank you! Thank you for your responses thank you very much for your patience, and most of all thank you for your incredible content!!!! Love from Greece!
You forgot to mention the best feature of wire wheels! The magical needles that it deposits in your skin and all over the workshop!

I’m hyped to see this thing in action - it looks sick!
Thanks! I’m hyped too, I haven’t got to test it yet myself lol
13:41 is the most relatable feeling ever
For real lol
This is awesome and I love how people like you because you guys inspire a lot of new people to go into the engineer field

@@ironcladexo its actually smart that hes using co2
@@thewhitesheep4156 yes, I agree
Mix 20 % dawn dish soap and 80% gasoline works like natpon.
You should invest in a mig/tig welder. Pretty cheap at harbor freight
Love to see you Make a working MandaLorain helmet
Look up my buddy @gtech_industries_ on Instagram

Yes you should be able to... except you might want to use a larger valve to get more flow. Otherwise should work
Can you use compressed air instead of co2
You would need a flashback arrester or else you made a bomb
what is the grey silicon looking stuff at 13:52
JB weld
This is the way
Very cool Jake! Keep it up
Hacksmith: Invent a new power source
Jake Makes: Tape a bunch of batteries to the inside of a tin.
lol yes. this right here XD
Beat the Hacksmith at making a handheld lightsaber
Can you make an airsoft version of the gauntlet? Do you do commisions?
Could I probably do I do commissions no I don’t sorry 😅
Awesome stuff mate!
thanks!

How much centimeter we should cut the steel

How did it take me this long to find this channel. Stupid RUclips
Use the Jetpack as a fuel tank
How do you know all of this stuff bro? You studied engineering or just grew up around people who make things?
My mind is a top secret government experiment
Its very easy to do you just have to have the base knowledge to do so meaning a mechanical mind
Ou 😅 I so happy with youre new video
11:30 That weld, doe.
Breaking news 6900 people are running around outside with wrist flamethrowers

no wonder i cant stick weld for sh*t, i was too afraid to hold the electrode to steady it lol
lol I still can’t stick weld
My welds suck
@@jakemakes my stick welds looked like splatter everywhere, my mig welds were a lot better by comparison. but the bead was too wide .
