Just got to DLv. 20 with Ancient Gears! The only thing is I still make so many mistakes with the deck and i literally autoloss to Lightsworn Tear, but finding a way through and punching through all that bs is so fun
Nice congrats! Yea i find those mill pile decks also pretty annoying with their GY interactions. You could try out soul release if you want a funny tech against them (and Snake-Eyes).
i think it's just me, but i felt more powerhouse vibe seeing ancient gear in action than the blue eyes and such, sure, blue eyes have that negation, destruction and fancy chaos max stuff thing, but ancient gear's gimmick is basically "i'm gonna punch you, you gonna take it and there's nothing you can do about it" and it just screams absolute chad powerhouse to me XD
It's not just you, i think so too. Putting up Fortress, not caring about most disruption and the inevitable Chaos Giant coming to clean house is really asserting dominance xD Also helps that they just look badass, really want that Chaos Giant animation...
I really hope to god above if they add that one new Maxx C lite card Mulcharmy or whatever that they ban Maxx C, because having the opponent full combo you and pop Maxx C on your turn fucking sucks.

The only thing u don't want to meet is genex because with no handtraps and mostly board breakers they would hand rip me to death.but any other meta deck is our dog.
I think your best bet is establishing Fortress on the field before committing to important AG summons like Dark Golem. With Fortress up a lot of their reactive or targeting disruption won't work and the only handtrap that can stop you is Nibiru.

18:57 Ahh yes the so called RANDOM effect strikes again seriously though good effort reaching MAX I'm struggling big time something I would suggest swap out Ultimate Slayer and a copy of Triple Tactics Thrust for an extra Geartown and a copy of Duel and Commander it's helped me with consistency.

@@h0xtinator Yeah speaking of opening hands that Gizmek Tinguku whatever the hell it is has appeared in my opening hand no shit the last 5 DUELS IN A ROW and I only play 1 of it but as for useful cards I rarely draw them on turn 1. 😒
@@crazyd3mon968 Damn.. that's really unlucky. Yea bricking on one offs is really annoying, i even considered cutting the Gizmek too. It has saved me a couple of games though, reviving Dark Golem.
@@h0xtinator It's revival effect is the only reason I play it otherwise I wouldn't bother even with Urgent Schedule I'm just pondering on my next UR addition to the deck I'm stuck between Apollousa another Chaos Ancient Gear Giant or Number 38 Hope Harbinger.
@@crazyd3mon968 Yup it's only really good when you open Urgent Schedule. If you also have Verte, i would go for the second Chaos Giant+Overload Fusion.
I really want to use AG duel more often, but at this point (I'm at DL. 17 with AGs) AG commander, OG golem and AG duel are bricks if the opponent happens to negate dark golem. I see why you don't have it in your list.
Yea i've tried them before, they're definitely useful and give the deck more variety. But whenever i open them it's so bricky and i just wish they would've been boardbreakers instead.
the only struggle going second is staying awake.
Yup i think over 50% of my DC was waiting for combos.
