Good luck to all my friends starting uni this year!! You have SO many incredible adventures ahead of you 🦋😌✨ I hope these tips help no matter what stage of life you’re in
Hey uum! I just want to say you are incredible and yes I love your vlogs ,the way you speak etc... I mean every single.... want to learn lot more things ahead from you I just want from you is that can you plsss add a summary ( the main point) at the end of the vedio. Because your videos are little long and have so much content so , from the next time If you add one slide of summary of the content of your whole vedio it make us easy to grasp more I hope you understand and I am Highly grateful if you do this and thankyou so much and lot of love from india❤
I want to remind everyone that it's okay to pick and choose from those videos. I noticed myself stressing over all the good habits that I *should* do. If a quick breakfast on the go and getting up short before you need to leave fits your life and leaves you less stressed than doing all of those "healthy" things in the morning than that's totally valid and doesn't need to be changed. Maybe you get your exercise in the evening. I want to stop living up to the ideas I see on the Internet and just check in with what I need. Thank you Jade for mentioning that. I love getting inspired by those sort of videos - but i want to see them as inspiration rather than guidelines.💜

Hey, I'm from germany and I just wanted to say that your german sounds pretty impressive. It's a hard language to learn but you're doing really well :)
Absolutely ! I think the "ch" and "äh" sounds are quite difficult for non native speakers. The way you pronounced "ähnlich" was perfect. really Impressive :D
"I'm going to act like I have chosen to come back to today because I miss it" Amazingly said thank you Jade. I am starting a PhD in October and I've been so nervous to start because I'm excited about it and I'm scared it doesn't meet my expectations. I've had a total mindset shift thanks to this video!
A life-changing habit I developed during Uni was writing 1 good thing about each day (similar to your practice of casual magic). I write a short sentence on a little post-it note that I then fold up and pop into a jar labelled 2023. Some days my 'good thing' is something big like going on a trip or graduating from university (AHH still can't believe I made it!) Other times, it's something small like calling a friend or simply making it through the day. The idea is that by the end of the year, I'll have 365 good things to remember about my year :) I highly recommend trying this if you're trying to show more gratitude in life ♥
Similar to you, I journal everyday and underline the positive, new or most notable things that happened to me. In this way, If I want a quick reading, I will remember the day by just looking at the underlined words.
One major thing i learned in university as well as life is acceptance. Expect new problems in every semester but know it gets solved and accept things for the way they are if you have no control over them. I am so grateful for one of my “roommates” at university (we share a kitchen) because she has become my friend and personal trainer haha. We go to the gym together (I wouldn’t go alone bc I get anxiety, especially when I don’t know what I’m doing) and she knows how to do things and teaches me. She also makes sure I eat all my meals, we don’t put a value to specific foods. We have movie nights and go food-shopping and clothes-shopping together. I’m so grateful for her.
I really appreciate your mindest and your way of looking at live. Most youtubers that talk about productivity and habits feel toxic to me in some way because they make me feel pressured to be perfect and make me feel guilty for not being super productive all the time. You just radiate so much positive energy and give me this vibe of "I am super motivated for my life and to experience a lot of new things and learn a lot, here's how I do it. Just take it as inspiration if you want. "
I found your account like half an hour ago, but the positivity and true genuine love you have for traveling and studying abroad is infectious. I’m going to Iceland for my fall semester and it’s my first time traveling alone, so I’ve been trying to soak up as much information and tips that I can. Your channel is exactly what I needed!! Ending all of your videos with purposeful gratitude has been quelling my fears of what’s to come!
Wow, these habits are truly surprising but make so much sense! The idea of setting your own curriculum, building connections, and embracing failure as a learning opportunity are particularly eye-opening. Thank you for sharing these insights - they're invaluable not just for university but for life in general.
I truly believe that you are a mosaic of the people you spend your time with. Jade, although I’ve technically only spent time with you by watching your videos, l can say a lot of my mindset truly comes from you and I’m so grateful to have come across your videos when I was still in highschool. I’m going into my second semester of Uni now and l am so excited for another journey of learning. With the habits I’ve picked up, I feel super motivated every other day. One habit I like doing is prayer when l wake up. It always reminds me that each day is a new day and it’s my choice on how I’m going to spend it.
You are so inspiring! I've followed you since my GCSEs and am now moving into my second year at uni. It's crazy to think I've been following you for so long! Thank you so much for everything and all the positivity you spread. Would love to have a video on life lessons learnt at uni
I paused at the start of #2 and I think I can already give my WHY?. Why am I going into studying BSc (Hons) Nursing Science (RN - Adult) at the age of 32? Because during the pandemic I saw the UK struggling, I saw the NHS being stretched to beyond all boundaries, and I thought to myself whilst sitting looking at a mountain and reservoir in Chiang Mai, Thailand (I was living/working in Thailand) that I am a caring and compassionate person, I always put others before me and I always want to make others feel like there is a chance of light to overcome their darkness. So, I decided to leave my career as a teacher, came home to do an entrance diploma, and now here I am both going into University to train as a nurse, and last week got employed to move up the ladder in the NHS from Ward Housekeeper to Healthcare Assistant. I'm here to learn how to help our public. That's why.
@@KtT-sn8cy I genuinely would watch the news from the UK every night during the height of COVID and seeing the numbers, whilst Thailand maintained zero cases for 103 days during 2020 and I was still at work and everything was open, I started to think about it then. Then eventually towards the end of 2021 after COVID had hid Thailand and my school was closed for a year, I was teaching online for 5 minutes a week (I was a kindergarten teacher) by recording a video, I thought "what am I doing when I could be helping those in need?" and that was when I booked a flight home for 3 months after that date, resigned and came home.
Dear Jade, I've realized, just like you, that habits need to be sustainable or else they'll be discarded at any given moment, specially when we face hardships or unprecedented change in our lives. As of now, I'm focusing on building a sleep habit through a tight sleep schedule. I've realized that ever since I was little, I've sacrificied lots of sleep hours to study, and I now suffer from chronic insomnia. Even though I do believe studying is important, I didn't want to build a future where I was sleep deprived and/or prioritized other stuff over my health. I've started using the sleep tracker feature on my phone and focus on resting at least 7-8 hours a day. I've realized how essential sleep is for feeling energetic and motivated throughout the day. I'm also looking forward to building other habits I feel I need to embrace asap hahaha. Lots of love xxx.
You're right! As a freshman, going outside of my comfort zone and creating a structure is so essential in my life. I can't believe of the possibilities opening to me because of that.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts, as always :) My favourite habits I learned at uni are yoga after I wake up, a good breakfast, going on a run in the afternoon as a study break (if I have the time) and ending the work day at 7 pm to read for pleasure, go out with friends or make time for other things that make me happy and don't have any "productive" output at all.
I’m so grateful for the algorythm that your channel has been recommended. What a breath of fresh air. Man as long as people like you exist, we are okay.
The very last part was so inspiring, I also woke up not wanting to do anything today and you really motivated me to get up and do something and find today’s casual magic. Thank you!
HI, I just subscribed! Because, you are amazing! The way you said inspired me, "how do you look after your mental health, you just listen to yourself"... I just wanted to let you know that keep inspiring all!
A bit late to the video but one life-changing habit I learned and still apply in my university career is to break large tasks into small chunks of work. It take the pressure off and makes assignments seem easier!
can you make a video on expanding your social circle as well? i find it really hard to just go up to random people and ask for a coffee so if you have any mindset tips to share im looking forward to hear them.
During my time at uni, i often felt the same. I found that just being on campus, being a familiar face was a great way to ease into meeting new people. Sometimes something as simple as studying in the same spot, or going to the same coffee place can be really effective in giving rise to those soft social interactions with familiar faces. Which, with time, can blossom into friendships. Take your time, and most importantly just be yourself❤
Hey Jade! 🌟This video is a goldmine of wisdom! Even though I'm not in my post-graduate life yet, your habits are incredibly insightful and applicable to anyone at any stage. I couldn't agree more about our morning determining how our day progresses and your idea of using 'future nostalgia' to fuel daily gratitude is truly a game-changer. Sending you big love and virtual hugs! Thanks for sharing these valuable habits. You're an inspiration! 💐✨🤗
Oh Jade, I need you to know that you are nurturing so much peace in my heart with these postgrad videos. I also just graduated, and it has been SO hard at times to reconcile this era of uncertainty. Often, it all get so overwhelming. But then here you are, showering me with love and validation like no other. I feel so seen watching your videos. Your constant reminders to kind, curious and compassionate are sincerely some of the brightest rays of sunshine in my life. Thank you for being you, and for encouraging us to be more us ❤️
oh my GOODNESS this comment made my whole heart flutter. thank you for your sweet words and for affirming how I share this journey 💛 we're truly all just figuring it out. I'm so excited to watch our journeys unfold, in all their excitement and challenge and growth
Thank you for all these videos Jade ! I really get fascinated about the fact that you still continue to post RUclips videos while you are in all the turbulence of figuring out things in life ! 💕
These are wise, wise tips. The bit about "savouring the moment" really hit home. "Live every day as though you have chosen to relive the day", I'll forever remember this, keep up the good work! All the best!
Wow, what an inspirational video. From all the things that I have to say is that when you start off your morning especially at an earlier time, it makes your mind to suddenly become more awake than if you were going to wake up late. On top of that, just waking up without stressing yourself and taking a bath has helped me a lot through my uni period of time. So thank you for sharing these little tips of yours and make everyone happy 🎉 Have a blessed day everyone 😊
I resonate so much with this video ❤ Especially that your social life is something that will magically work itself out. I have just started my graduate degree and for the first time I am very intentional to spend time and energy on finding my people and not just on school 😊
This is such a casual magic thing to me: the music at the end of your videos. Since it is always the same song, I look forward to it every single time you say bye and am having a little dance party wherever I am for those few seconds ❤
Wundervolles Video! Viel Spaß weiterhin beim Deutschlernen, Jade. ☺My favourite habit: whereever you are, find places (cafés, parcs, towers, ...) that give you inner peace and even a more special connection to the city/region you live in.
This is very good advice which you are giving to students who are about to start university in order to try to succeed during the academic year. What you are saying is true in how a person feels in the morning could determine how they are going to feel throughout the day.
after watching this video, i feel like i need a change right now. i always wake up w the first scrolling on everyapp especially Tiktok. Im not really interested in going outside but my habit needs change to help my future career✨
Hi Jade!! I am going into my senior year of high school and I am trying to juggle my classes, extracurriculars, and the daunting college application process. I am trying to adapt to the change of a new year and feel like I was just thrown into the deep end. One decision I made that took a hit at my pride but has been SO good for my mental and physical health was deciding not to do AP Physics, and instead do jazz band which I have been wanting to do for the past 3 years of high school. I now have the TIME to achieve what I want to achieve, but now I just need a good system to optimize (American spelling lol), that time and REALLY achieve all I want to achieve. :)) It is a learning and relearning process but with a growth mindset (and your videos ) I can do anything! I am so happy I found your channel. I want to meet someone like you in real life, or even maybe someday MEET you in real life 😆. Who knows what the future holds. p.s.that ending bit about thinking that your future self chose THIS specific day to relive really got me.. I resonate with that so muchhhh to answer your question, one life-changing habit (I guess more of a mindset habit, is to see periods of anxiety or stress as moments that will pass, and that there will also be good things that happen if you have hope. That everything will unfold in due time.)
I really like Jade! She is a very well-spoken and educated lady. I wish you all the best in your career and life, and most importantly, I wish you to be happy no matter what you choose to do in the future! XOXO
I really like what you said at the end about looking back at the uncertainty phase of your life. I relate to that because I’m in that phase. I went to one semester of community college but I never went to formal college (aka university) I’m not really sure what I want to do. I was working at a restaurant but I quit after nine months because it wasn’t for me. I didn’t enjoy the hours and I couldn’t really change them. I’m now back at a different job that I was doing before which is working at an after care program looking after children after school hours. I enjoy working with kids but, only for a limited time lol because they can be a handful. I’m just not sure about the future. I’m thinking of music therapy or an ESOL teacher. I also love Spanish. Idk Thank you for your video. I enjoyed it. My casual magic today is the sweetness of fruit and how it tastes. It’s just soooo good.
It’s like Tony Robbins’s RPM life planner, a system which emphasises the “why” of the endeavours people pursue, and morning priming with an optimal emotional flooding. It really helps a lot. 🌅
Thanks Jade! Your content is just so inspiring to me c: and it feels so familiar watching your videos as if I were listening to a big, like-minded sister 😌🌻
I'm jealous of how well scheduled and organised your life seems to be. It also inspires me to improve though. What's most annoying now is that the little routine that I do have is just ruïned by the heat waves that didn't exists when I was young. 15 years ago it was rare to ever be 28 degrees C in height of summer, let alone for more than a few days. Now it's fucking 30+ C for a week in september?!?! No student room has AC here. Hell, even my parents don't in their house. Almost nobody does in the Netherlands. Worrying about future effects of climate change does negatively affect my mood often enough (and rightly so I think), but the direct effects now aren't to be dismissed either. I don't mind getting sweaty during a workout, I even like it, but to be sweating when I'm sitting down reading a book or just trying to think...that's hell. And trying to get enough sleep when your room is still 30C at 0:00, goodluck, haha

I love the tips and also your vibe is so cool, you seem really nice and fun to be around! Have a great time of the day!
The future nostalgia has really resonated with me, I've been thinking about it a lot lately and I think what you've said about it is very true. I'm currently learning Spanish, it's the fourth language so far and I'm excited to try lingoda!! Thank you Jade, I admire your energy ❤️
One of the biggest lessons I learned during uni (and especially during grad school) was REST. Take intentional time off to recharge and take care of yourself. Pay attention to what fills you up and what you need and take time every week (or if you can take a whole day off) to just recharge.
Great video! I think a lot of students will benefit from this. Mental wellbeing is essential for bringing balance to our uni experience. It can get lonely and overwhelming sometimes, which is perfectly natural. But these things are temporary. Being kind to ourselves and carving out space for self care is super important! Thanks so much for sharing ❤
im british and my partner is german, and im learning the language because of him. the love life mention had me like !!! because i get excited when people are in a similar boat as me 😭 whatever's happening there im happy for u!
Love snedt to you! I am 50 and I find your vidéos wonderful! The one advise that you told that makes a huge difference in shifting my mind today. Go with you day as if you had chosen to go back to it!
Omg Jade, as a German, your German sounds so good! I mean it's really not an easy language to learn and your pronunciation sounds almost like that of a native speaker!
You have this wholesome college story.😃 Your video is very refreshing. It is nice to know that the things I am learning here are relatable to you. However, I am yet to start getting out of my comfort zone...😖. I'll try...😓 One thing that has really changed my life in Uni is prioritizing even my assignments, it has relieved so much stress😄😄
Hi Jade!! Thank you so much for the beautiful energy you bring to the internet, it’s much much appreciated 🦋 a habit I started last year for my first year at uni is to stretch in the evening. I am for 10 minutes but what I actually do varies on my energy level. Sometimes I do a more active thing and sometimes I just stretch out my legs laying down the whole time 😅 no matter what it just makes me feel a little more grounded!
Agree with your points. Cold shower is difficult in the morning but is worth doing. I tried to do once. Did help after I did a run. Also, learning Chinese now to connect with my Chinese roots. Also, graduated college too and figuring out my life. Right now planning to go to Taiwan to learn Chinese after I plan to have a job.
Hiii I am currently in year 10 in secondary skl and I have been watching you since I was in year 7 eventhough university is quite far away you have really impacted the way I see and want to experience school life so thanks sm and keep doing what your doing ❤
As someone who just started uni, I’m so curious of what I will learn. I can’t wait to move out and live a sustainable lifestyle. I can’t wait to, maybe, finaly feel happy about the way my life, including the challanges. ❤
I could learn a lot of things from your video💕 Now, I'm a final high school student. So, I have a little stress and I feel nervous to university entrance exam😢 I'm agree with your idea! Mental health is sooo improtant to everything! I want to create my schedule, and get a good habit. Thank you very much, Ms. Jade☺️!!
Thank you Jade for these pearls of wisdom. You are always so on point and I can relate to each and everything you said. I hope to be able to implement all of the great advice you shared. More power to you for creating content like this. We need more of these and I hope you would continue making more such videos. Thanks a ton!
wow Jade this is really inspiring Ireally hope you see this comment and reply. Though I am still in secondary school. I find your study tips so helpful. Please kindly make a video on wow to study for external exams considering the fact that it is not your school that set that exam and you don't know the type of questions asked
Hi jaaddddeee i love ur videos and find them so motivational, im starting sixth form to study chemistry, bio and art so have been watching so many videos, including yours ;). I'm really nervous despite knowing that i wanted to do this because i know how hard i have to push myself. Thx for your constant support for everyone
Hey Jade! I don’t know if this topic is to personal for you but I would love to hear you talking about love, maybe your love as well but also love in general.💛
Oh, I loved your video. Thank you for sharing your lessons. I love your necklace and earrings as well. Do you want to share where they are from? Thank you! Have a lovely week!
Im a freshman, and I choosed my bachelor program to achieve my dreams and to help people as well. I just found this yt channel, I hope ur videos will help me.. thanks in advance🥰

One habit I like doing is prayer when l wake up. It always reminds me that each day is a new day and it’s my choice on how I’m going to spend it.
I love this so much, thank you for sharing!! 💌
That's why.
That’s cool, some people run away from the problems in their country but they will never get fixed like that!
I can't believe of the possibilities opening to me because of that.
genuinely very useful, concise and helpful video for me ahead of returning to uni, thank you jade!
That last one was just beautiful and super powerful I think. Thank you
The very last part was so inspiring, I also woke up not wanting to do anything today and you really motivated me to get up and do something and find today’s casual magic. Thank you!
Your energy shines so warm and bright. You always make me smile. Thank you!
(also, your German sounds amazing!)
You bring so much hope and enthusiasm, thank you. ♡♡♡
So thank you for sharing these little tips of yours and make everyone happy 🎉
Have a blessed day everyone 😊
I resonate so much with this video ❤ Especially that your social life is something that will magically work itself out. I have just started my graduate degree and for the first time I am very intentional to spend time and energy on finding my people and not just on school 😊
I really love you’re videos and from someone who’s not German, you speak really well. I hope you have the greatest day 😇
This is such a casual magic thing to me: the music at the end of your videos.
Love life intersects with German, hmmmm, what did I miss? Ooooh excited for you.
after watching this video, i feel like i need a change right now. i always wake up w the first scrolling on everyapp especially Tiktok. Im not really interested in going outside but my habit needs change to help my future career✨
One life habit I picked up so far in my uni life: definitely scheduling things and setting intentions (sincere and beautiful) for the day
I resonate with that so muchhhh
to answer your question, one life-changing habit (I guess more of a mindset habit, is to see periods of anxiety or stress as moments that will pass, and that there will also be good things that happen if you have hope. That everything will unfold in due time.)
sustainable productivity is such a beutiful way to word it, thanks!!🌹
the book is so amazing I'm currently reading half of it❤️thank you for all of that❤️❤️❤️
"Young people (like me) ought listen to this advice, even if they haven't gone to university. I will never get tired of listening to you, tyyy
Sending so much love and respects Jade!!
I went to one semester of community college but I never went to formal college (aka university)
I’m not really sure what I want to do.
Idk
Thank you for your video.
You never fails to amaze me 🥹. When depressed or unmotivated, you comes for rescue!
Love you Jade 🤍
Pay attention to what fills you up and what you need and take time every week (or if you can take a whole day off) to just recharge.
this is SO wonderful, thank you for sharing!!
5:45 I'm glad your saying this because I didn't realise I had to do much. I'd just feel bad for being a loner and wanting friends
youre such a light thank you
I love the way you talk!
This is exactly what I need. Thank you Unjaded !
The future nostalgia chapter almost make me tear up - so so true and important and grounding - thank you for the reminder!!
🥹🥹 big big love!!
Hey Jade, thanks for all you do! I love being reminded of all these habits that in the back of my head I once knew but have forgotten :)
Love snedt to you! I am 50 and I find your vidéos wonderful! The one advise that you told that makes a huge difference in shifting my mind today. Go with you day as if you had chosen to go back to it!
I could listen to your voice all day!
You’re Awesome❤❤❤
Thank you so much for this video ! I just arrived in a new city and I needed to hear this
This video couldn't have come at a better time! Thanks
girl your accessories make your eyes pop... you look breathtaking 😍
Omg Jade, as a German, your German sounds so good! I mean it's really not an easy language to learn and your pronunciation sounds almost like that of a native speaker!
omg stop this is literally SO motivating to keep language-learning!! big love 🥹
Those are really good, wise habits. Thank you for sharing this 🙏
We need the details of that love life intersecting with germans 👀
...👀
i swear, i take notes from each of your videos... SO WISE
🥹 stoppp you flatter me!!
Jade, your videos always make me so emotional and moved. Thank you so much for doing what you do, we love you
You have this wholesome college story.😃 Your video is very refreshing.
Hiii I am currently in year 10 in secondary skl and I have been watching you since I was in year 7 eventhough university is quite far away you have really impacted the way I see and want to experience school life so thanks sm and keep doing what your doing ❤
thank you so much for this video, it makes my day
As someone who just started uni, I’m so curious of what I will learn. I can’t wait to move out and live a sustainable lifestyle. I can’t wait to, maybe, finaly feel happy about the way my life, including the challanges. ❤

Ireally hope you see this comment and reply. Though I am still in secondary school. I find your study tips so helpful. Please kindly make a video on wow to study for external exams considering the fact that it is not your school that set that exam and you don't know the type of questions asked
Thanks for the tips Jade 🙂
