- This was an interesting devstream the info was for 2 different updates but the May 15th update will contain a new nightwave and a new kuva/tenet weapon. Sadly we only get one of each so some players will be upset.

Caliban still being the most forgotten frame with no augments. Makes me hope they havent given him one because they're doing a full rework
Idk caliban slaps , i love him his 2 is underrated and homing and causes them to take more dmg and his 3 helps give infinite shields and his 4 is a full defense strip i put either roar or octavias resonator , augments would be crazy but he stil can do sny level mission with eaaee imo( caliban /dante/nekros main)
Claiban is such an underrated frame. It's such a shame he has no skins or augments

@Grippyreaper115 He's by far the worst frame in the game. You didn't even bother to mention his 1 because it's so terrible it might as well not exist his 2 on applies the damage debuff while enemies are lifted. His summons stop giving him shields once they break, which will happen all the time in steel path and his 4 is his best ability because it strips shields and armor making his 2 not worth using at all.
@@InsertSomethingStupid2002 his 2 doesn't fyi it lasts the entire duration , his 1 is absolutely ass lol I subsume it it's a given if u have any auger or brief respite u instantly get shields

Keep in mind the lower armor is not to cater to your higher level players but to the lower players going up. As it is they get nothing financially from you but more from player who do not have everything and are still growing.
Yeah, its kinda funny how skewed the viewpoint of lvlcap endurance players is compared to the average. Basically nobody does those runs, so nobody would care if they become "too easy", although Pablo will probably just scale raw hp into stratosphere instead.
@nickstor3420 yeah, but high hp is not as bad, and with a good build the average player will be happy.
@@dracowolf2081raw HP is actually worse since with armor we either ignore it (slash) or full strip it at level cap, so it would actually make it more difficult for the best builds while giving a buff to current worse builds
@@dracowolf2081Oh I agree, mandating full armorstrip/slash+viral setups for higher level content is really limiting the meta. This change, plus the status and resistances rework will allow for more builds to be viable on steel path and beyond.
@suschilegge1683 I agree with that, but depends on the status or damage ur doing. But tooo much HP for sure can be an issue and annoying.
The 2700 armor caps enemies at a 90% damage resistance.
With 10 stacks it's reduced to around 60%
With a tauforged green shard it's reduced to like 15% damage resistance.
These numbers are done using the current equations, I bring this up because as you said they are subject to change.
Even if Acid Shells isn't any more powerful on Kuva Sobek, it should still be fine Sobek's Weakness was always killing the enemy in the first place to proc acid shells, so having a stronger sobek that can more reliably kill dudes should go a long way to improving the overall consistency of the weapon, and may even make it for useful for Non-Saryn players.
There's quite some other stuff that applies to it besides Toxic Lash, some better than others, I hope those setups become more smooth.
Acid Shells can even hit sonars, but that'll never be very consistent, still nice bonus on top of buffing the shotgun itself.
Magnetic tenet glaxion since they are buffing corpus shield recharge rate.

@@lookalike4805Glaxion has cold so it will turn viral if you put toxin progenitor on it. Magnetic is good for tenet weapons

The sobek isn't the issue, its saryns toxic lash applying on stuff it probably shouldn't that would be the only thing that would ever be nerfed.
That Aug is too good to not neef it.. it's allows afk play, so yea nerf it..
@@derickiogates5791how does it allow afk? you have to actually aim and shoot, explosion spreading doesn't spread infinitely in actual missions. also saryn is squishy so you have to actively move and use sg/vazarin

@@lookalike4805 I'm not really disappointed, just a bit bummed but at the same time glad that the Sobek is finally getting recognition.
Also over the past few months I lost respect for some content creators after I found out what elitist min/maxers they are so I could care less what almost any of them say.

Really interested to see that sevagoth sow augment, for an ability that does true damage and can nuke enemies, and that blast damage change could make it even better lol, well just waiting to see
DUDE! I've been saying blast procs should make enemies explode for a long time. It doesn't have to be a super high damage chaining cascade or anything, even just briefly staggering the hit enemies would be awesome. Maybe a chance for one inflicted elemental status to be spread on death per proc? Or a small damage vulnerability capping out at like 20%? Anything on top of seeing enemies go BOOM would be so much better...
Also, magnetic should slightly pull enemies together or disrupt their movement in some way.

Way back when Trinity Prime dropped, we used to get 3 prime items with every frame...2 weapons and 1 other primed gear item....sometimes an archwing, a sentinel, one was the prime extractor, the prime dog collar, ect, ect....I think it was around Inaros release that DE stopped doing 3 primes.
If they went with the blast procs as they were described it would make nova even more fun. Guess we will see
if they make qorvex wall create a vacuum to pull enemys would be great.

Thing I'm most excited for is hopes that I want the Jade Light Eximus to cast Instant Death
Even non-saryn setups can scale acid shells with faction dmg so riven dispo hurts, but ehh, we got roar nowadays diminishing the importance. I recommend speed nova supporting acid shells, iirc xatas still works well for dps too. Enemies having 50 armor instead of 0 could benefit acid shells corrosive %dmg BTW!
Finally it's time for us kuva lich and sister of parvos hunters to shine
Meh, sobek kuva will never be the same as a good disposition riven on the normal one.
Man, having the option to fully auto weapons will make my carpal tunnel much less of a pain!, also sobek is back baby yeey, and glaxion will finally shine with the holidays skin. Just WIN all over the place.
armor nerf & deep archimedias tell me this game is going in a lower difficulty direction to make random loadouts the focal point
Idk i think they are gearing up to nerf tenno damage across the board. Making proper loadout building for enemy factions crucial.
Not really lowering the difficulty just standardizing damage across the board. Since factions are getting specific weaknesses they may get more resistances.
From what Pablo said on the devstream 2700 armor would be about 90% dr. So even with max armor enemies would be less tanky then they are now. I wonder if they will increase the dr anymore or less.
Calculation is unchanged. DR = armor / (armor+300) --> 2700/3000 = 0.9 which means 90% damage reduction.

They should start making End Game content for players. Content where enemies have 3x the stats, new Elite enemies,and are smarter and have more skills. Plus these missions should have the best rewards in game.
Capping enemy armor alone was all the buff blast or cold really needed. Cold status was already decent and blast weapons tend to have good dmg numbers as well as blast being a decent dmg type ignoring the mostly useless status effect
I Disagree with Blast Damage being Decent seeing as it only works on one Health Type that Rarely if Ever Makes an Appearance. 👀
The regular Sobek can absolutely slay. I'm hyped for this.

Lol I was right on last video .. thought would been more kuva n tennent weapons but was spot on with kuva sobek .. but at no time did I think of tennent glaxion etc lol .. as long as elements don't blend on tennents glaxions cold .. n new elements etc . 😊

I hope they will rework the way we can get those kuva and tenet weapons in a few ways, because even right at the start, its a pain in the ass to get a specific weapon and sometimes takes up to an hour...
and the worst is when this specific weapon has like 20-30% of the status type we go for...
In general it would be nice if they remove *all* percentages below 40% for the drops, because 20-30% is basically trash and not worth anything at all, compared to 40% and above. - atleast if you go for the maximum of 60% with malence fusion.
Another way to fix the percentages grind would be a system to ditch a trash lich, that you could do like 2-3 times a day.
(to avoid hardcore grinders that crash the markets)

With kuva sobek coming out, it is very likely that acid shell Saryn meta will be removed from the game just like melee influence.
That armor change should be for the normal path only.

Also, I really hope PS5 can finally get some good enemy spawns after the update. It always feels like I am playing none Steelpath when playing Steelpath, there just are no enemies....

If 2700 is the armor cap than with 13 corrosive procs the dr is only 0,152542372881356 (15% and 90% dr at full armor)
Which means corrosive turns your 10% damage into ~168% (first enemy defense gets reduced by 75% then you get 75% bonus damage on top of that). Luckily armor strip is still better and slash exists.

Tenet glaxion will need to be significantly better then our contact aoe glaxion vandal which has terrible base cc but decent sc still disappointing skins dont need to exist also never sacrifice cold on any glaxion for extra viral because your losing primary frostbites crazy crit damage and multishot

Been waiting like 10 yrs for this....SOBEK😅....I don't think they are stiffing Caliban on purpose.....I have 2 builds that work great....one with Harrows chains that pretty much has endless shield

I want opticor incarnon to be a giant Lazer with so much recoil it pushes you backwards. You get one shot and it's a giant 3 second beam of death.

Im super disappointed about the Velox. If it has double the crit rate (28%) or crit damage (4x) it might have been interesting, but they left it as boring and nesrly just as bad as the base Velox. It was nothing special, but it looked cool, and it being abullet hose that rewards you shooting to empty was cute and fun, if nothing else.

You guys in the comments aren't givin' the Amprex enough credit where it's due. Corrosive shards and corrosive/heat modding with shred on the Amprex melts. Sure, it's not the Torid, but we shouldn't be basing our standards around the Torid.

Bruh I’m so sick of these people complaining about changes comparing it to level 10k enemies.
This just makes more builds better and have corrosive actually do something outside of running green shards. Enemies which 30k armor and 90% dr, 10 corrosive stacks, still 90% dr is stupid af.
Plus if you run full strip it’s still more health you have to chew through so what’s the problem.

@@lookalike4805 Cause i am NOT following the meta. I was sarcastic cause pretty much the game become a joke at these days when u have pretty much all arcane, wep, frame, mod, focus maxed. I am also not fan of the idea to stay multiple hours non stop in the same mission and im unable to do anything but playing just to feel a tiny bit of challenge. I remember the time when we get the very first AOE wep and it was Dread with a new mod what give chance each arrow can explode. Now days 1 button press and the whole map died.
