Another awesome episode mate! The good ol whiting getting it done, really effective bait I reckon ae, maybe more of a visual thing for the snapper as the whiting sort of shimmers in the light and don’t have much stink at all haha? Who knows, either way they work ✅✅🐟🎣

If you don’t put the sinker on would the bait just hover mid water where the snapper are? I’m new to this and am still to catch my first pinkie.
The idea is for the bait to sink slowly to the bottom. The fish could be anywhere in the water column, depending on the berley, if there is a bit of a current, the bait won't sink and you need to put a small bit of weight on to make it sink, as slowly as possible. Snapper love hitting a sinking bait
