Hello Joe/Zach, new subscriber here. I found your channel very informative, helpful, full of useful tips on how, when, where to fish. Videos are well constructed, and contents are nice and neat. Great work.
I’m from Sac so I usually fish for stripers on the Sac River near SMF airport. Tried pier fishing once at the Antioch pier but only caught shakers (which I guess is common for most people at that spot). What other piers you recommend in the Bay Area?
Im from sac also. Last week my girl and I went to pier 30 just to get out of the heat. Caught a leopard shark. Lots of ppl were aiming for striped bass.
@@14ma99 this was a very unique trip it was a massive birthday party that we charged around $370 for we supplied all the gear and fishing baits necessary to catch a fish
@@PacSalt_TeachMetoFish I don’t necessarily have anything negative against them. The only thing is that they buy their bait from J&P and resell it for an increased price. So it’s just more cost-effective to go to J&P
I have emailed you guys about an order I put in for the super swimmer swimbaits. I think 2 packs. And I haven’t received them nor have I heard anything about the order. But the money came out of my account. Can I get an answer as to what’s going on with the order?

Honestly, during the fall pretty much anywhere in the day is good. All I would suggest is to look for areas where there is bait in the water! If you can find the bait, you will find the big fish

I heard in the video you had to go on a charter at a 11, how much do they charge per person and what do they supply ?

I don’t fish live bait often, but quick question for my reference: Why don’t you buy bait from Loch Lomond in San Rafael? Cost? Wrong baitfish?

Are striped bass safe to eat in the Bay Area?
As long as you only eat a couple a month yes, they are safe. We wouldn’t recommend eating more than one every week though.
