I was up on the east side of the upper lake on Sun., Aug. 25th and only caught 1 fish, but it was an 18" striper -- the first striper I've ever caught at Castaic. I usually catch large mouths, crappies, or trout from that side of the lake. Well done, man!
All day on that spot, striper will boil around this time of year. That Veteran cool af. You: I'm thinking about going that way. The Vet: I'll go with you.
