Rowan got me in the first half acting like a real boss ngl.
Yeah he hit it right on, literally felt like how I did at my first job and my boss said that to me lol. I got asked how much should I deserve though.
I know he started so well.
It's a classic turn-around of the straight-man silly-man comedy method. Normally it's Rowan being the silly-man while the others play it straight. It was a nice little skit.

Well not to long ago he was sleeping in his car. Maybe he cant, or doesn't realize he can do this for himself. Perhaps his pay is set by corporate.
I would say maybe corporate would realize what has happened here and fix it. Buuut after working for a couple larger corporations myself. It'll be many months before they realize it.

He's Salaried. Add that to him not being able to really do math and he wouldn't be able to figure it out anyways.
Managers are usually salaried, and get paid monthly. If they don't have experience working hourly or paying hourly workers, they may have little concept how much people make hourly. The only unrealistic part of this is that Rowan is the only manager we've seen in the shop, so he should know all the employees' pay rates.
I *have* made a typo in someone's hourly pay, and entered it into the computer as $77.50/hr (doubled the 7). It was pretty obvious when payroll came around though, and the computer said they were due a paycheck for $6200 for 2 weeks work, so was corrected before the checks were printed. For smaller mistakes which get through, most of the employees have actually been honest about bringing it to our attention. I usually let them keep part or all of it for that paycheck to thank them for their honesty. Most people are good, honest folk, contrary to the media constantly trying to tell you that anyone who disagrees with you or is from a different income class is evil.

I wanna see a skit when Alan and Adam learn how much Ellie is actually getting per hour, and the reason they keep getting paycuts is so Playtech can afford her ridiculous pay per hour.
In the episode where everyone gets paid in advance (6mo or 1yrd....I forget) you see just how fat Ellie's envelope is compared to the others. It just so happens to be the one where Adam lets his "friend" work in his place for a day too & ends up getting Adam's meager earnings. Even then none of them seemed to notice how much she rakes in.

He's natural, great boss acting. Rowan brings joy, fear and discomfort and I can't stop watching. Guess it's a compliment. Just give me like three frames and no sound at all he would still convince me. He makes me live one work day in few minutes, where I'd have these fights in my head wether I should quit or not, and at the end of the day be afraid to say anything.
