Weed needs to be legal and treated as a fit for duty intoxicant just like alcohol. As long as your fit for duty when the time comes to start your work day, then why the F does it matter what you do at home
Amen, currently it’s the oddest thing ever, losing a job for smoking 2 months ago while off duty for a week… just imagine if you drank a beer 2 months ago and got fired for it 🤯🤯🤯
@@CallYourDaddysadly Weed staying in your system it’s hard to know exactly when and what day you were smoking unlike alcohol it usually leaves your bloodstream within 24 hours

What you failed to mention was the difference between the Urine testing and saliva testing.
Saliva testing only detects THC within 12-24 hours
Urine testing can detect THC for days and and months long after someone uses Marijuana.
Saliva testing would actually benefit most people who are subject to drug tests.
And what you failed to mention is when some one smokes or injests normal ammounts of the green they are High for less then 6 hours;) That's faster than alcohol..... what they have been doing is criminal. It's biased and discriminatory and does nothing to make roads safer. If was really a real issue then why don't all Drivers no mater what class they have be subject to the same tests. There is way more 4 wheeler idiots on the road crashing or driving through people than all of the licensed commercial drivers in total. I can't wait for my class action lawsuit when the day comes. I will accept no less then 10 million for lost wages and another 5 million for the issues this has caused in my personal life because of being held back. The Fed better start printing alot of money. They owe millions of people alot of cash. Period
Some quick theoretical math. 10 million people looking for 15 million each= $150,000,000,000,000.. .yes that's right 150 Trillian dollars. Let that sink in..........ps 10 million people is a very conservative number....it's probly closer to 100 million people making that a pay out of $1.50000000E+15. I'm not sure but I think that would be 15 Quadrillion dollars. Now does it start to make sense?
Also keep in mind 85% of cvi with fatalities were caused by 4 wheelers according to latest stats
The truth is always easy to find when you simply do the math. But no wonder why the Gov is scared of this they don't have 150 Trillion dollars to pay out........let alone 15 Quadrillion dollars which is more realistic... The only irresponsible people in this equation are the policy makers and regulators.
I think they should just legalize weed and make it a rule must pass a mouth swab before entering your truck for the day and if you don’t pass come back to work in 2 days and try again
This has been in the UK for year's for ALL road user's if the law so require with reasonable suspicion

this is not related to this video and i havent found a video covering specifically my question or i havent understood all the legal talk. im wanting to know if i operate a truck with a GVWR under 10k lbs , NO trailer, just the truck, and haul cargo for a broker or someone that pays me to transport said cargo in this truck across the states. do i need a USDOT number on my truck? also if i was to operate the same truck under the same conditions /circumstances but only in state would i need a USDOT number. and if i was to operate the same truck as a motorcycle/trike/atv "wrecker/tow truck for motorcycles only" would i need a USDOT number? i am wanting to haul motorcycles ,trikes,atvs only. maybe as a "tow truck" for them only. i have been trying to find the regulations covering the setup i want to run but im not good at lawyer speak. i am hoping you all can help . ty either way

We want about may 16 until 18 dot inspection.
Focus areas are ABS and cargo securement this year. Keep the cab clean, double-check spacers, straps, etc and have mechanic ready to review brake system if you get hit with a violation to see if there's an argument there for a DataQ

Who pushed for this new testing?
Companies and company lobby groups, mostly. It's cheaper, more flexible due to being available to conduct anywhere (and not just at test labs) and is harder to get around like urinalysis is with false samples.
They've been talking about it for at least the last year or so when the rule was proposed. The main negatives are limited scope of testing in both substance types and length of time. Hair samples still are the most comprehensive but lobby groups/companies haven't won that fight yet.

Wow, feeling more confident every day and noticing my anxiety dissolve until I knew I was “in control” is definitely a relief, I went with what I mentioned and a week after my paruresis was gone. I just go'ogled the latest in Beck Reznark’s guide and now I can go without even thinking about it.

I have not gotten my learners permit yet I'm trying to pass my dot physical so I can apply for permit and then Traing school I have not smoked in over 30 days how dose this work cause I don't have a employer I'm just trying to get my card
You don’t need an employer to get a med card. Just find an examiner on the national registry and go there. nationalregistry.fmcsa.dot.gov/home. Some carriers may require you to go to their particular examiner even if you already have a valid med card. You’ll just have to ask that question when you start applying to carriers.

Honestly the window for detection of THC on a saliva test is a lot shorter than urine samples. Just don't smoke for 2 days before drug test. Urine sample can detect 30 to 60 days after use
