best demo I've seen of this pedal. thanks!
Thanks for your great demo. Helped me a lot to make my decision. Just got my SL and love it, sounds awesome.
This compressor adds fantastic punch to my amplified harp!
The original.
The COMP Jr. has the most inconspicuous attack time, and transient response is what makes or breaks a compressor for me. With attack and release controls, I can dial these compression artifacts away; but when attack and release are preset, the pedal either works for me or it doesn't. I hear an obvious and unpleasant "thwap" from the original as it grabs peaks, and I hear pumping from the SL.
COMP Jr. for the win!
I prefer the standard. The SL reminds me a lot of the Barber Tone Press which I used to have but was a bit too subtle for my liking. Both great pedals though, it's basically what you prefer.
just got one. only thing that confuses me is that it seems not to matter what guitar i'm using; the led never turns red. maybe flickers ever so slightly orange, but hardly. sounds great though! love it!
Chain them already! Activate all three at once! I'm actually wondering about doing just that on a mix with those Diamond compressors. :)
Has Diamond ever answered: Is the Circuit the Same in each pedal?
have you tried the greer amps fish press? trying to see how they compare
The normal one sound the fullest I think the jr is the same except for the eq is a little brighter
Hi Gabriel, thanks for the great video. Would you know if there is any compressor in the same ballpark as the diamond, but with a little more compression? I heard the ratio is about 3/10 and I like my compressors tu run at at least 4 to 5/10.
A Diamond with a ratio knob would just kill it. Thanks.
Run it at 12 V and the magic comes !!
It can be used up to 24V. But I agree, its much better at 12V and over because it needs the headroom. Thats why at 9V it craps out.
Diamond mades good pedals!I prefer jr
AMAZING!! I've sold my standard Diamond compressor because of its size but I've regreted it compare to my Forect green Mad Professor comp...The Jr semms to keep the same spirit than its old brother, am I wrong?
It's the same pedal only in a smaller box.
Isn't the junior the exact same thing as the Standard on the left only in a smaller box. I'm sure it is! This what Diamond themselves say about the junior.
Is brighter . This tends to be the pattern with smaller pedals. The tones just get brighter .
Can all these be powered in 12 volts? Thanks
what country are diamond compressors made?
Canada
Like three.
But the best is Standard
The junior is the exact same pedal only in a smaller box.
The dirty channel of your amp is very bad
