bro the opening is too beautiful
Gosh! Thank you so much. Means a lot to me 🙏❤️
Yes diamond baby! Thanks Stefan!
Heck yeah! Happy you're pumped about this return as well ☺
This opening composition is beautiful! Amazing work as always Stefan!
Thank you so much, my friend!! 😊🙏
Dude, your riff for the Hawaiian Pizza / Memory Lane bit was brilliant!!!
Awww! Thank you! 🙏
Been waiting for this demo, awesome sounds !
Happy to hear it was worth the wait ☺
Sounds amazing as always Stefan!
Thanks, gang!! You absolutely knocked it out out of the park with this relaunch. These pedals are SO GOOD!
Beautiful stuff as always!
Thank you very much!
Nice one Stefan... That Baum guitar sounds amazing!
Cheers!! Yeah, it’s a wonderful guitar 🙌
Properly The 2nd Time You Sold Me A Pedal..Excellent Demo And Playing.
Amazing!
Thank you!!
Dewde. That opening piece was fantastic. Especially the end section with tremolo. Class. 👌
Thank you so much! Really means a lot to me 🙏
@@thepedalzone dude I just finished principle recording of album three so I’m a little pooped but I heard that and was like oooooooooohhhhhhhh I wanna make another track now!!!!
great sounds, great music!
Thank you!!
Amazing demo! I want all of these jammers, though the og tremolo is the best I've ever played and will never leave my board. Tip: Put a wingman foot control knob on the trem speed control and have fun goosing the chop mode a la Jessica Dobson/Deep Sea Diver.
Really happy you liked the demo. Means a lot to me. A lot of work went into it, so it's nice to hear it's appreciated on the other end of the screen :)
These pedals sound awesome and I can’t wait to try them. I need a compressor so I’ll probably start there. Never tried a diamond pedal before.
Great video and demo of the pedals. That guitar with the Bigsby is pretty sweet too.
Thanks
✌🏻
Happy to hear you liked the demo. Means a lot to me! The Diamond Compressor is the perfect place to start if you need a Compressor. It's so easy to use and so easy to make it sound good. A lot of comps will just choke your signal, but this one really enhances it and makes it pop.
Per usual, your playing and video are top notch!?!? Love ya brother and hope alls going well on your end.
Thank you so much ❤❤❤
it's all good, but I guess what we all waiting here is diamond vibrato 👌
Would definitely be great to see the Vibrato get brought back to life
Sick tone
Thank you very much!!
These sound even better than their orginals counterparts, and so much more options. Bless SolidgoldFX, this is truely great. Great vid!
Happy to hear you dig them. I'm super impressed by them as well. SolidGoldFX really kept the original spirit intact all while adding just the right modern modifications to the circuits.
@@thepedalzone I feel the same :) Not alienating the orginal brand, but building upon in an honourable way
Another great video! Could you make a video sometime about your guitars and amps. You always show some interesting guitars in your videos! Thx!
Thanks, man! Means a lot to me ❤
A couple of years back I wanted a good sounding delay with tap tempo and modulation on the delays. After a long search on the WWW I concluded the first Diamond delay was the one I liked best. And then I found out they didn’t make ‘em anymore. A sad, sad moment.
BUT THEY’RE BACK AND NOW I NEEEEEED ONE!!! 😬😬😬
You definitely need to check out the new Memory Lane. I'm completely floored by how good it sounds!
@@thepedalzone ; I absolutely will!
Awesome video! the compression into the pizza is so sick. I'm not sure if you've done this before but I would love to see the way you go about navigating the boss ir 200 and amp sims in general. I just moved into an apartment so looking into ways to get sweet clean sounding amp sims that can take pedals well. Your tones are always buttery smooth and seems like you have a great handle on them. Cheers! -Kevin
Thank you so much! Yeah, I was really impressed by the tone sculpting potential of the Comp/EQ. Crazy how it could turn a vintage sounding fuzz into a modern chug monster. And sure, I would love to dig into the IR200. The way I use it is fairly simple though. Haven't done any ,ajor tweaking. Just using stock pre-amp sim and stock cab sim. But people seem to like the way I make it sound, so I'll see if I can find the time to make a video on how I like to use it :)
Diamond J drive mark 3 is a brilliant pedal
The new Diamond Drive takes its roots from the J Drive Mk3. So maybe that would be worth checking out, if you're looking for a more compact alternative to the original :)
@@thepedalzone thanks will take a look Diamond make quality pedals.
I hope they reissue the vibrato pedal soon! the current that is available in the second hand market is so expensive I cant afford it
Would definitely be awesome with a Diamond Vinrato reissue. Always wanted to try that pedal
I’m sure this has been covered somewhere previously, but do you have a band that I could check out? If your incredible demos are in any way indicative of what to expect in that context, I’d really love to hear it.
Gosh, I've been a part of a couple of bands over the years, but none of them exist anymore. A band is always a collective voice, and not just mine, but if you listen carefully, you can probably pick out my playing here and there. You can check out Sky Architects, Cloud Anthems and Don't Come Looking For Us on your favorite streaming platform :)
He Stefan, how do you find the memory lane compares to SGFX's electroman mk2? I love the mk2! But I really wish it had tap tempo. I wonder if the memory lane compares nicely to it in the warm mode?
Memory Lane doesn't get as washy as the Electroman, but to me that's definitely not a bad thing. I personally prefer slightly more percussive delay sounds. This doesn't mean that the Memory Lane is digital sounding. It very much captures the vibe of old-school analog delays like the EHX Memory Man. I would personally choose the Memory Lane over the Electroman.
right on, thank you for the input. I appreciate it!@@thepedalzone
A small part of me says, "Do we really need another compressor, delay or tremolo?" but a larger of part me says, "the more quality options out there, the better!"
I totally get you. I usually think the same. But when the quality is THIS GOOD, it's definitely a case of the more the merrier. These pedals manage to stand out in a really crowded market space.
I wish they wouldnt have gotten rid of the random mode in the trem. The original had it and it was great for making broken Lofi sounds.
