    so how much would you charge for one of these and how many can you produce in a day with a single machine? what brand and power of laser?

    • @LSEngraving
      @LSEngraving  9 месяцев назад +1

      depending on quantity 20-30. depending on design 5-10 double sided per day. I used a jpt 80w on this coin.

    Tell me, please, if I send you a .stl file with the correct dimensions (for example, the depth of engraving 0.25 mm), will you be able to engrave the coin? Or do you need a vector file created for example in Corel Draw program?

    • @LSEngraving

      the depth is determined by speed/power/passes, and image adjustment. I would be happy to try it out for you. sales@lightsource.pro

    Hello! I’m using a ComMarker B4 20W engraver with Lightburn, and recently I encountered a connection error while engraving in 3D on brass.
    The issue occurred while engraving a 3D relief pattern with the following settings: speed 6000, frequency 45kHz, power 90%, line spacing 0.0254,
    image mode set to 3D Sliced, and 150 passes. After about 6 hours of engraving, a connection error occurred. I paused for a while and resumed engraving, but the previously engraved pattern disappeared. Then, after about 1 hour, the connection error happened again.
    Is there any solution to this problem? And is there a way to resume the engraving from where it stopped?
    I would greatly appreciate your help in finding a solution.
    If you need further assistance with refining the details or want to send this in a specific context, feel free to ask!

    What dimensions do you use for your 40mm brass coins?. I use 37.800mm but wondered what others use.

      @@LSEngraving Are you CERTAIN?? At ~ 5:10 starting the dark finish pass, you can see the dark finish advancing with the laser beam seemingly moving slower = TIME LAPSE..... At 5:40 this is very evident.... NOT "real time" in anyone's definition.... 😞

    Man, your work is impeccable! I know it'll take me many eons to get to your level...and I'm gonna get some sheets of brass to practice on. Oh, and is it the same as with co2 lasers that the air assist aids with cutting the metal?

    • @LSEngraving
      @LSEngraving  Год назад

      thank you! The CO2 will not cut metal.

    • @willmartin6198
      @willmartin6198 Год назад

      @@LSEngraving no, I understand that part (I have 8 of them). My question was pertaining to the air assist effect on the metal as you engrave metal with a fiber. I have a 50w JPT.

    • @LSEngraving
      @LSEngraving  Год назад +5

      @@willmartin6198 it makes for cleaner results on metal, nice and smooth, and deeper, as debris is not fused back onto the workpiece, and the air mix increases removal rate.
