Botic’s story is truly inspiring! Going from almost retiring to beating the guy who won the french open and wimbledon this year back to back in 3-sets is amazing and definitely shows the power of sticking with something and never giving up. Props to Alcaraz, even though he hasn’t played his best tennis since the olympics, he’s still achieved a TON this year and from what I saw in the press conference, he handled this loss pretty maturely. I wish both of them luck going foward!

Players are overplaying the between-the-legs shot nowadays. Sure, it's entertaining but 8/10 times the shot is going out. Most of the time, they have plenty of room to play a regular shot and keep them in the point but instead, they want to entertain and wouldn't end up in the 'shot of the day' as well. Just keep playing "normal".

What a win for Botic as all the commentaries state.Alcaraz is such a super talented player with high IQ tennis but the first time I saw him play and the way he goes aftr ever ball to the utter most extreme although great for the spectators not great for the player as it is not sustanable. He can get away with that being so young just like I did but there are 2 outcomes if he does not moderate this as he ages and that is 1) injury and 2) burn out.He has to learn that he does not "have to" do this,it is like a madness to him.
