Poor Ruud he lost two consecutive finals against the Spaniards. Nadal at Roland Garos then to Alcaraz at US Open. What a terrific performance by Ruud in 2022 two GS finals but short of winning one. This one is very close in reaching his first GS title it's a pity he faced a young and talented rising star who isn’t easy to give up until the last point. Alcaraz ha la capacita di alternare potenza e tocco l'una in funzione dell'altro, ricorda il primo federer. Not just saying it because he didnt prevail down there, but the hard court at US Open is slower than the one at the Australian Open.
