You did a review on an AMGYM solar shower, is it still working and would you recommend still? I’m wandering if a free standing frame has been made. I just don’t want to drill into my pavers, but I could probably put it up on another paver block concerned if it’s hit would it fall over?
Been considering similar options from Wayfair. How do you like it so far? Does the water actually get warm enough to provide a warm shower? If so how many warm showers can you get out of it before it runs out of warm water? Thank you!
My 5 gal unit still won't fill water in tank after fitting the hose to tank correctly. Is there something I need to do to get the tank to open and accept water from hose? Thanks
I thought this was the case for mine but I had to put a lot of pressure to the fitting that connected the the bottom of the shower until it snapped in to get it to fit correctly
we are going to use a hose splitter so that we can keep it plugged in at all times while the weather's nice! when you take the hose off, the water doesn't come out, so thats nice! Good luck with set up!
But the problem is that the vertical sun does not heat the PVC. That is, it does not produce hot water. We are all led to believe and do not use logic. The sun does not heat the water in these showers. After many hours of exposure it remains warm because the high sun does not affect the black of the plastic. But then, in autumn when the sun is lower perhaps it will warm up.
This would have been far more useful if you had shown the connections between the top and bottom sections.. Yes, you say it was easy, but you saw this with your eyes and simply said, easy to do. So it leaves us guessing as to the actual connection and seal or seals. It also leaves the question of how well it can lever the temperature of outgoing water. So, in a nutshell, your video didn't answer any of my questions.. Bummer.... :(
I bought the half size outdoor shower from the same company AMGYM, after only 6 months of use the whole thing split open and all the water gushed out. I had purchased through a 3rd party but they gave me a phone # to call at AMGYM, 3 calls later and they still have not replaced the unit or reimbursed me. Save your money, don't buy this product, choose a different manufacturer who actually takes care of their customers.
Have it been installed outside long enough to evaluate how it works over time and whether it corrodes?

You need a french drain installed beneath the shower to allow water to flow away from the house

the base fills up with 11 gallons of water to be warmed by the heat of the day- so yes, it's perfect for a quick warm rinse!
Don't waste your money it doesn't warm at all!

After you fill it up can you take the hose out and close off the hole?
Why would you do that? Its better if it connected always
But answer the question please I would also like to know if I remove the house will it still work off of the 11 gallons reserved?
My shower doesn’t seem to connect to my hose with the fitting they supplied. What do you think I should do? Did you have that problem?

We installed this shower and it exploded the first time we used it. Thankfully, the seller was very cooperative.
