Just so you know, the flux was something in chibnall and jodie’s last season, and the doctor realizing they weren’t originally from gallifrey was in the season before that

Thank you for letting me know, yeah that was totally surprising for me to hear 😂

Yeah, neither of those points were received particularly well…

@@ryanager8029 no offence but I think Flux is a decent idea and that the villains from Flux (Swarm and Azure) were amazing. The only problem with Flux was that it was tied to the Division and to the Timeless Children. But otherwise if the Flux wasn't tied up to the Timeless Child and to Tecteun and if its execution was a little bit better then Flux should be a fan favourite. I can understand hating the Divison/Tecteun part of Flux (I do too) but I don't understand hating Flux for the Flux itself or for the Ravagers (Swarm and Azure). The Flux event itself (as well as other parts such as Karvanista/the Lupari) were very nice and good/decent.
To be fair, I'd like Flux and Swarm and Azure being brought back in the show by a more competent writer (such as Russel T. Davies) in the future and in the expanded media by Big Finish.
Unfortunately I don't think this will happen :((((((

@@ryanager8029 I hated both of those plot points but I commend rtd for turning chibnall’s mistakes into compelling drama

Was really cool to see your reaction to the Doctor not being from Gallifrey! It's an interesting idea that was really poorly executed a few seasons ago (dreadfully so) and it's cool to see RTD reintroduce it afresh!

1666 was the year of the great fire of London

The great fire of London was in 1666, so yeah, probably best to avoid London that year.

I'd love if they leave the mavity thing for a while then Ncutis doctor finally gets tired of it and has to go back and fix it somehow

    • @LynkCableTv
      @LynkCableTv  10 месяцев назад +4

I would genuinely like that if it is a plot left unfinished and then Ncuti can be the one to fix it by going back to visit Isaac Newton

Yes, 1665-1666 were big plague years in the UK, with London being the worst place in the country for it because of the sheer numbers of people living in the city.

Well, since Donna last saw the Doctor they've been 11, 12 and 13. So literally all of seasons 5-whatever season this is now happened in between. So yeah, it's a lot.

Since no one explained it to you correctly, in jodie's era, the Master made a big discovery, the timeless child, it's a bit complicated for me , so in big words :
The timeless child is a child found in front of a breach leading to another dimension/universe, this child was found by a woman who took care of her, except that later the kid was having fun with another child at the edge of a cliff and fell, which triggered her regeneration, the woman saw that and did experiments on the kid by triggering her regenerations again and again and again, until she understood the phenomenon, and synthesized this power over her people, then erased the doctor's memories and (in my opinion) forced him to become a child, we just know that the doctor was part of a group called the division and I no longer know what they were doing, we don't know how many regenerations the doctor has had, we don't know how old he is, the doctor got a watch where ALL his memories are and hid it at the bottom of the tardis, and still hasn't opened it, then for the flux, I didn't understand anything but yes it destroyed half of the universe, and also the master killed all the time lords (whom the doctor had managed to save from the time war by blocking them in a pocket universe freezed in time) and destroyed gallifrey
(Sorry for my english i'm french)

And Chibnall (Jodie's era) writed those stories very badly, in comparison, here it is well done, very dramatic, emotional and everything, I can't wait to see where this is going

They were only able to film a single scene before Bernard Cribbins passed away, he won't be in the next special. They wanted to do more, but couldn't.

Wilf is only in a few seconds of The Giggle, his actor died before he could film anything for the last special, and he doesn't die. Can fans please get off this "x will die" kick? It's so unoriginal
