It has to be said Sam your content is absolutely superb Sir! Been sub'd to your channel for a few years and you constantly innovate and improve and your channel just oozes that you love what you do and you wouldn't want to do anything else. Respect and thanks for your content Same, stay safe, Ben
Amazing video, loved it! Driving a 16M and a Speciale Aperta back to back, and then going home in your own 360. What a dream! a bit like hanging out at a Victoria’s secrets party all night and then going home with your own model wife 😁
Point of clarification: the 16M has a “bumpy road” button as well, softens the ride appreciably. Too bad you didn’t highlight the best feature of the F1 gearbox in the 16M and that is the superfast-2 shifting when conditions met (temp, race, depressing accelerator >40%). Those shifts are blisteringly fast, 60 msec I believe-similar to DCT, yet the punch in the back is exhilarating. The F1 definitely adds to the character of the car. The exhaust note is amazing because it changes pitch throughout rev range and really sounds like an old school F1 Grand Prix car! Icing on the cake? Only 499 made, very special (like the 458 Speciale Aperta). Nice video, excellent quality! Thumbs up.👍
Agreed Sam. Everyone I give a ride to in my F430 all say wow the F1 gearbox actually makes the experience and the car feels more raw compared to a DCT box.
The aperta is probably my favorite Ferrari or at least modern Ferrari ever. Great video between the two Sam. I would much rather be in one of these than a 488 or f8 for a drive on some backroads.
I thought the Aperta would be my favourite Ferrari ever, but getting in it after driving a 16M, it was just 'too' good... too fast, too clinical, too much for the road
My neighbour has a 458 Speciale Aperta, every morning I go to get in my car I pass by his and still, I always take a couple of seconds to admire it, it never gets old, I think it's one of the best modern supercars ever built.
The production quality just gets higher and higher, the presentation and ideas j u St better and better. You're living the dream and destined for great things Sam, congratulations on your success and thank you for your outstanding channel.
Sam, this video brought such a smile on my face. Thank you for your content. This is bucket list stuff, even for someone like you who gets to drive special cars on a weekly basis. Cheers from Canada 🤙🤙🤙
The sound of those 2......😍😍😍 its so difficult to choose between them. Think that i like more the 458 Speciale Aperta (although i prefer the coupe style) even though the Scuderia sounds, maybe, better. Great job Sam!!! Well done.
Been following you since you've bought the Jag and put a white dot on it, since than so much has changed and content got better, congrats Sam let's get to 1mil subs!!
Did 160 km yesterday with my 430 Scud, the Scud was the first car to have bumpy road mode!! You forgot that button in the 16M!! 😃 430 Scud for the win, I do not miss my 458 at all!! The overall experiance in the Scud beats most of the modern Ferraris!!
Wow! Two amazing cars! I do think 430's in general might be a sweet spot between old school modern classic and "new era" super cars. The sound, the manual gearbox (obviously not in the Scud) and being an experience without being super fast.
Just before clicking on the video, I already know I'm going to love it judging by the cover itself already! Ferrari 16M (check) 458 SA (check) Keep up the amazing content Sam!
My new favorite STG video. The 16M was the first Ferrari that I got to experience up close. From sitting in it to befriending the owner, it was unforgettable. My halo car for sure
Nice video Sam. 16M is a wonderful piece of kit. It is the one Ferrari I would buy if I was shopping for a £300k supercar with the ability to put the roof down.
Even though I haven’t driven them, it seems like the Ferrari 430 (scud and non-scud) were the last V8 ferraris that were more raw and soulful and the 458 is where everything started getting more technical in the name of performance. I mean think about it, even the dials in a 458 are digital vs analog in the 430 lineup 😕
Another great vid. Just taken delivery of a 16M to go with the Challenge Stradale. Both great cars and totally immersive, more so than the more recent Ferraris although obviously the recent cars are faster and better. Just not as much fun in my opinion. Noise is great on both but the CS just about pips it at the top of the rev range!!
Great content sam but i must disagree with you when you said that the scud was a sports car in comparison to the speciale, Yes the speciale is more sophisticated and refined, it's more daily drivable and smoother but the scud is way more special, the sounds that the camera is picking up when you drove it along with the smile on your face and fear in your eyes just speaks a thousand words on how special of an occasion it is to drive the scud, and that's what a supercar is supposed to make you feel.. special. also my all time favorite car people is chris harris, i regard him as the most credible car journalist in the business right now and when he was presented with all the special variants of the v8 ferraris guess what he picked? you guessed it the scud^^
Got to be the 16M for me too. The 458 is a very good car but as we march on with 21st Century “progress” we seem to be losing some soul in the cars. Oh dear, I’m preaching to the converted aren’t I Sam….! Great video as ever dude….keep up the great work, please…
I’m a huge McLaren fanatic but I do have to say you’re starting to lean me more towards Ferrari in your most recent videos. Brilliant content as always!
Awesome!! 👍🏻🚗 For me the 16M. Because of the feeling.. so much more theater. Or maybe... my Scuderia.. will never sell it because it is not getting better after this.
Still surprised no ones talking about the photoshop’d thumbnail...
I only noticed it after you said it 😂
Very shmee esque 😂
We was too excited to watch the video we didn't realise
I clicked the video too quick to even notice lol
Can we assume you forgot to get " the picture" and had to photo shop yourself in(with different clothes)
The level of your content just keeps getting better and better, you're really living the dream. Cheers from Italy
Thanks so much mate, great to hear you're enjoying it
Sooo good. Loved the drone shot going through the fields!
So this is what you whispered to Tony ey?😂
Yup :)
How you have only 520k subs is beyond me Sam, quality content man, keep up the great work!
Thanks dude! Working hard
Production Quality of videos doesn’t always correspond to number of subs, but hats of to Sam for his work for sure!
I'm surprised drive the world didn't bring him more subs that's one hell off a trip
16M is AMAZING!
The noise shames a Strad if you ask me, no hate just preference 😍🥰🔥
It has to be said Sam your content is absolutely superb Sir! Been sub'd to your channel for a few years and you constantly innovate and improve and your channel just oozes that you love what you do and you wouldn't want to do anything else. Respect and thanks for your content Same, stay safe, Ben
Thats awesome to hear and much appreciated!

Haha such a good analogy!
Appearance is not Always happyness...
@@lollypop9580 agreed. But roaring V8s are :)
That 458 speciale my favourite car in the whole world damn it looks sooooooooooooo sexy

THIS MAN DESERVES 1 MILLION SUBS
I’ve always wanted a back to back review of both of these!
Glad I could help!
Agreed Sam. Everyone I give a ride to in my F430 all say wow the F1 gearbox actually makes the experience and the car feels more raw compared to a DCT box.
Funny how time has changed peoples opinions
@@seenthroughglass dct is too good supercars suite a single clutch kick in the head it adds to the experience still not a gated manual tho
The aperta is probably my favorite Ferrari or at least modern Ferrari ever. Great video between the two Sam. I would much rather be in one of these than a 488 or f8 for a drive on some backroads.

The Aperta still looks like it was made yesterday
Another Great video Sam !! Keep it up !!!

Good choice!
another week, another ferrari content. thank you sam!
More to come! :P
These videos are exactly why I subscribe. Epic video. What I'd do to drive that 16M. Great work, Sam 👍
The filming is incredible Sam! Loving the style!!
Thanks so much!!
Your enthusiasm is infectious and that's what makes this my favourite car channel. And no M3/M4 content is a bonuszzzzzzzzz
Thanks buddy!
Been following you since you've bought the Jag and put a white dot on it, since than so much has changed and content got better, congrats Sam let's get to 1mil subs!!
Wonderfully edited and entertaining video, Sam!
Thanks a ton!
Great Video Sam - Love the aerial shots -Well done again !!!
Well done, Sam! I’ve never seen any show or youtuber put these two cars together at the same time. Very impressive
Enjoyed that, plus the bit of Yorkshire that flew by as you were driving so gracefully😉
Been waiting for one of these reviews for years!!!
What a video! That shot from 7:36-8:00 felt like I was actually there watching from above!
That 16M though...what a ride!
Did 160 km yesterday with my 430 Scud, the Scud was the first car to have bumpy road mode!! You forgot that button in the 16M!! 😃
430 Scud for the win, I do not miss my 458 at all!! The overall experiance in the Scud beats most of the modern Ferraris!!
Had a suspicion it might be these two after seeing you tease it on BTG! The 16M is one of my all time favourites... pure Ferrari porn!
Nicely done Sam.
The one overriding thing I took away from that is just how much scuttle shake there is in both cars.
Cheers.
Wow! Two amazing cars! I do think 430's in general might be a sweet spot between old school modern classic and "new era" super cars. The sound, the manual gearbox (obviously not in the Scud) and being an experience without being super fast.

My favourite RUclipsr driving my favourite car, the 458 SA! Superb quality as usual Sam!
My new favorite STG video. The 16M was the first Ferrari that I got to experience up close. From sitting in it to befriending the owner, it was unforgettable. My halo car for sure
Great comparison! Thanks
Thanks for watching!
Great Video Sam! Loved your North Yorkshire journey/content! Was curious to know what farm shop you was recommended? 😅
There's a guy with a 16M Spider that lives near me and it's such a treat every time he takes it out, such a special car
Woah! What a duo of cars! Smashing those car and content goals Sam!
Thanks a ton!
Cool comparison, Sam, we all love these cars, and both together is excellent.
Love this Sam!! Epic videos!!
Thanks so much!!
As a Scuderia owner I can say I know which one I would take. Great review sir. two incredible cars. Both more than worthy.
Awesome content! Really love this ferrari theme!
Great vid Sam. Love the range of content and the was they are shot
Great work as always Sam.
Glad you enjoyed it
Great video as always love production values you have always had a eye for the best angle of a car.
Would've been spat on in London 😂
Two great cars and glorious weather,
great content and camerawork👍
Knock it out of the park again Sam , awesome content, what a dream garage right there 👌
Can't believe you were in Wakefield/Barnsley
Plenty of hidden driving roads near by 😀
Waking up and watching this has become my Sunday ritual. Its perfect. The quality is fantastic.
Nice video Sam. 16M is a wonderful piece of kit. It is the one Ferrari I would buy if I was shopping for a £300k supercar with the ability to put the roof down.
That suspension on the Aperta makes it a jiggly car
This is what dream are made of Sam! Thanks for sharing your Ferrari PASSION with us all 😎😎😎
Glad you enjoyed it!
I love both cars!! But the 16M always has been my favorite spider ever made!
Amazing video as always sam 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
If I was ever to buy an open top ‘modern’ Ferrari it would be an F430 spider with manual box, surely the ultimate backroad blast car.
Lot of fun, beautiful machines, awesome aerial shots, quality and spontaneous production worth at least 2K likes, thank you Sam 👍
I love the fact that he wears an Omega Speedmaster! Gorgeous watch, and very adequate for being around great cars!
Sam, you are driving the dream!! Incredible content!!
This is a good day at the office!
Great vid mate!
Don't know how you raise the bar every time. STG at his absolute best. Am I watching a movie??. 🔥❤️. Loving uploads.
Whaaaaatttt!!! You literally drove by my house! Gutted I missed you 😭😂 nice job!
Finally someone coming around to the F1 shift "experience". I think the experience hinges on the proper setting of the PIS ( point of initial slip).
Ahhh, the Speciale. You've got to love that V8.
@12:30 You made that van drivers day!!!
Love the aperta awesome car thanks for showing it
Thanks for watching!
Awesome video Sam!

What a day! Reminds me why Ferrari is the special one, as good as Porsche is. THAT is #goals!
This era of Ferrari is peak Ferrari for me! Two dream cars

Great one Sam, give shmee a run for the money haha, loved this video, proper cars on proper hard core roads
This the type of content I’m living for
Somebody give this man 1 mln subs!
Absolutely gutted you were literally just a couple of miles away from where i live! 😫
Just like all the others, great video Sam!
7:36 to 7:59 listening to the 2 NA V8 Ferrari engines was beautiful. 🤌😩
Arguably the best Tenor of 2009, Bravisimo!!!! 🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶
Got to be the 16M for me too. The 458 is a very good car but as we march on with 21st Century “progress” we seem to be losing some soul in the cars. Oh dear, I’m preaching to the converted aren’t I Sam….! Great video as ever dude….keep up the great work, please…
You best sam love video keep up 💪 mate
I’m a huge McLaren fanatic but I do have to say you’re starting to lean me more towards Ferrari in your most recent videos. Brilliant content as always!
Great video love watching your content
Still watching the adds but this has to be a special one. Excited !!
sam sam sam this is absolutely your content. what a video. thank you
430 Scud, life goal right there!
Best sounding V8 ever, so angry and sharp!
My 2 fave Ferrari open tops but dude you’re crazy. The Speciale has THE best sounding engine to ever adorn a Ferrari road car.
Where are at the start of the video? the footage of the ruins looks awesome!
Sam does it again.......class 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Thanks again!
Yes Sam, must have been an epic day... stuff of dreams
Great video Sam
16M is a bit much for me, but I do love the 430 era. The 430 is my favorite Ferrari.
That V8 symphonY
Astounding!
Just watching a carwow review. Instantly came here to watch another STG video!
Legend!
The 458 in general was a complete game changing car not just for Ferrari but supercars as a whole.
Awesome!! 👍🏻🚗 For me the 16M. Because of the feeling.. so much more theater. Or maybe... my Scuderia.. will never sell it because it is not getting better after this.
Two great roof down cars good this push the idea for a roof down jag F-type
Well that was fun! What castle is it in the intro?
