Eaton Polar Air 10HP 80 gallon 1-Φ 240V 38 CFM air compressor

First run of my Eaton Polar Air 38 CFM compressor. The sound in the video is louder than in real life, as this has a silencer intake box which really cuts down on the noise. Well worth it over a typical 7.5HP 80gal that will run you $2000 roughtly. This one ran me about $2600.

I got the same compressor. Its so nice and quiet. I have had it for a couple years now. This is the best value out there for a high perf compressor in a garage you have to work in.

the cage rattles a bit on mine making it louder than it should, but it is 80 feet from the garage in the backyard, so no big deal. I've had it going all day long and no complaints from the neighbors.

How fast is the pump spinning?

Motor RPM is 1740, motor pulley about 8.7", pump pulley about 18.5", so approx 2:1 reduction, so roughly ~900 pump RPM. Still running like a champ to this day. Although I am contemplating putting a motor soft start on it, since frequent starts tends to wear the belt down.
