Just recieved same compressor… what wire size and plug setup did u use?? Say #6 wire with 50 amp breaker… seams like ovver kill… curiouse what others did
Can anything be done about separating the moisture from the compressed air before it goes into the receiving tank...like a moisture separator placed between the compressor and the receiver tank?
Just curious 3 vapor blasters and 1 dry ? I built two larger vapor blasters and 1 commercial dry cabinet but found I can do everything with one vapor and one dry
Great video, do you still like the compressor, any problems etc. When you sandblast what pressure are you using and for for long at one time? I do sandblasted signs and will need it to run around 30-45 minutes at a time because some signs are large like 4’x6’ or larger.
Then you need to consider a big tank (over 120 gallons) or run a dual tank setup. Running a two stage pump will help the compressor "keep up" when you hit the low pressure trigger point.
A $70 baffled car muffler hooked up (after the air filter) to the inlet of your IR will quiet it down even more than the Emax. Don't ask me how I know, just do it. Cheapest "peace" money can buy
Very nice compressor. Do yourself a favor and get an after cooler. I'm sure that unit cost a pretty penny, and it sucks to have all that water getting pumped into the tank.
This is not even a comparisons at all like comparing a mid-school football player to collage eaton will kill it !! a small 3 hps motor to a true 10 hp not even a comparisons IR is a 2 cylinder single stage and Eaton's 4 cylinder 2 stage oil pressure industrials unit and IR is made for hobbits at home garage not even close the Emax is $4000 compare $1000
Nice sharing... I run 80-gallon Sanborn last 30 years. Neighbor next door hates it…. LOUD!! Lol
Burgess Silencers is what the compressed air field uses

Yes #6 wire and a 50am breaker

There should be!
The warm air from the pump is creating condensation in the tank itself.
There is but you have to void the warranty by cutting the line from the compressor and adding a cooling system inbetween the compressor and tank

I keep 2 different medias in the 2 smaller vapor blasters. The larger one is just for the larger parts.

@@LynxStarAuto I bought the 24 hp gas powered (Honda) with 120 gallon tank
I just picked up a Quincy 350 10 horse 120 gallon compressor for 300 bucks

Yes, I’ve heard aboutnthat
price difference? Looks like several $thousand?
Nice beast there mate

You absolutely need to install an automatic tank drain. You have a ton of moisture on that tank.
I drain it myself every hour and after each day in the summer. Fall and winter has almost no moisture at all
I wish you used a DB meter or at least a phone app one
you need to install an aftercooler with auto drain. that amount of condensate in your tank is no bueno! good thing you're not painting cars :-)
You need a screw compressor.
Why
the air intake box makes it quiter than the IR
💪👍💯
Thank you
@@motoblast3574 how's the air compressor running for you
Water separation works better the more distance you have it away from the compressor.
Precio
👍🏼
OMG are there gas in the containers and foot of the compressors your going to blow your self up man get the cans some where else
Hahah yea maybe I’ll move them 😂
Oh god the safe inspectors here and get the safety glass off the top of your head 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Right. I was sort of comparing the noise reduction with their intake system.
Makes a lot of water that yellow one does.
It sure does
