  • Insecurity is one of the most difficult things for people to overcome. It's complex, and has many nuances, causing very deep scars that approach us subconsciously! So how does it work? how can we deal with the said problem? Here's the video where I try to explain it in a more interesting way with our good friends: Mr. Insecurity, Misses Coping, and our trusty old Security Bucket!

Also.... Thank you all for the wait, this video was a real struggle to make, by the end of the script, I had pretty much nothing of what I started off with because it got so complicated. I actually split the script into 2.... to maybe 4 videos depending on if I want to cover all of it! But anyways, Thank you all so much for sticking around with me!! I appreciate all the comments and support/constructive feedback and ofc, stay safe out there in these difficult times.
    Love you all,
    Jeff

I'm at minute 3:30 and it's already clear this is a video to be watched at least twice, the second time pausing every 5 seconds to digest the mountain of info and to better appreciate all the animations.

im in 8:37 and may have found the reason i self talk - because i feel insufficient and need to show how great i am to people. Because my parents didnt show me enough attention and only loved me when i got successful in school, i ( up to 1 hour a day ) fantasize about sitting with an interviewer and him asking me questions, and me making up ( as a famous and rich person ) stories of how I became successful.
    2. phase - to generate confidence, i have to realize i do not need my parent's verification of my actions or my life, and throw them out of my life for good.
    3. phase - remove trigger / i can create a mantra and when the trigger hits it will automatically activate to stop it. like the anxious guy in the video, i can create a mantra guy that stops the anxious ones and avoids the contingency of possible triggers to other sub-systems.
i also think that to gamify fully, we have to sort of map out the subsconscious by analyzing mythical stories, the hero's journey, applying philosophy and observing people under certain circumstances to see how and why they act ( my general theory to this is humans take the best action to stay alive, this however contradicts how fathers and mothers sacrifice their lives to provide a better one for their children; which I can offset by saying that they want their genetic material passed down to the next generation to keep their legacy alive ) and provide the right solutions to the right types of people with different health, finance, love etc buckets. there may even be sort of a "the big 5 test" created to evaluate the levels of the elements you displayed in 9:16
11:29 can not believe how similar this is to Peterson's theory lol. it's so cool to see the same idea across multiple people under relatively different fields.
anyway, great work! keep the videos coming, i personally benefit from these videos very much because I can see what I know from a different perspective that also lays out his presentation very clearly and concise :)

@@thegamifiedlife Is there any way I could help? I'm not saying I'm good at something, or anything, I'd just be figuring it out as I go. But as a lazy university student who (hates the education system and) plans to make educational videos in the future (because teaching can be done better) I willingly and gladly procrastinate on my uni work. (Everything's under control this is fine~)
