You can do these the other way around too. Say you fall from a bridge and go a bit under it, the enemy chasing should turn in the air while you run out and get behind him, much like a corner stab. It's better to do it that way because they can't see you the whole time.

They don't have to run past. If someone is running at you with melee, start strafing left when they're still out of melee range, then right when they're almost close enough to hit you. Their path should have curved to the right (from their pov) and the combination of you right strafing and moving the mouse left should take you behind them.

No, it is not. It is the acting that matters. The victim has to believe you are not going for a trickstab, but running away. If he knows you are going to perform a trickstab its easy to counter it.
While I was practising Side Stabs and Stair Stabs on Tr_Walkway I noticed that you can be facing near directly opposite a player just tilting your view to the direction they are in a bit and walk beside them there is a very short to stab them as you walk by I don't know if there is a video of this on your channel but just throwing it out there
Weird, understabs seem easiest for me considering I've never failed one yet. However, I've also never purposely tried for an understab, just the few times when someone happens to land on top of me they always end up dead.

another tip is wait for them to start falling before you start moving underneath them

you have more control on the ground then when you jump in the air
You can change your viewmodel to anything, You can make it invisible, upside-down, backwards, sideways, loop-da-loop.

The command to change viewmodels is "viewmodel_fov 50-90" insert whatever number you want.

Hey Slurgi do you ever use another invis watch? Because in your videos you always have the dead ringer.
I think the hardest trickstabs is a circle strafe stab.
the only time I can consistently do understabs is when another spy is trying to stair stab me lol.

Matador and blind stabs are the hardest (my opinion) :p
You can change your viewmodel from 0 to more than 200 :x
