1 launch, TRX burned a good gallon of gas ;-). Both awesome trucks. I think the Hummer can more easily take a stock TRX though.

@@xanderc4732 Degradation will maybe reduce capacity by 10% or so in 10 years, not the voltage output... should be good in future for launches but its rough on any truck/car to do that over and over. If anything, the TRX engine may need repairs before the electric motors. 100s more moving parts.

Finding difficult to choose. Both the designs of the vehicles are amazing. But one thing. Why do America make luggage compartment in the front when it comes to their EV vehicles?
Because they don't have an engine. And good EV design is to give extra storage vs waste the space with electric bits like legacy European automakers

The hummer is 9000 both are 1000hp. Electric motor instance torque weight disadvantage. Make 1500hp hummer trx smoked

@@Area42Gaming Your claim is unfounded. The actual test of the Humv towing a trailer was only able to make it 138 miles... not a computation on paper, a real to life towing of a trailer. I am ignorant of a lot of things, but I have read a little.
Better buy a big generator to keep in the bed of that thing, because the hummer will barely get across town towing anything. EVs are not ready to replace ICE unless you are only using it to get around town, but not too big of a town.
Wrong super chargers I'm town. They will shortly and the charging is getting quicker and quicker tons of smart people switched
@@bretthong6137 Not exactly sure what you were saying there about the smart people... but I have personally seen 14 tesla's waiting for 8 charging stations before. Hmm, they can afford 100K for a car but can't charge at the house, or it won't hold a charge long enough to drive to town and back to the house. I don't care either way. I stop for diesel and in a few minutes I am on the road again for 600+ miles
I’ve made it on a 4hr journey in my hummer ev pulling a trailer with an atv and utv. I don’t usually go any further from home and it handled it like a dream. I’ve even outpulled my buddies 2010 f150 4x4
Most people cant afford two expensive vehicles so if married i would
still have one fossil fuel and one hybrid small economy vehicle.

a engine on Crude Oil. So shipping parts from chinaa to here doesn't make sense and why the Big Ford I like room.
That Hummer is a marvel of technological engineering. It was bought and driven off the lot.
That TRX is the result of mechanical excellence and expertise. Its power was built...not bought.

Bro TRX is moded & is lighter, ofcourse it'd win.
The only reason why the TRX won is because the guy didn't actually put the Hummer in WTF mode when he was racing. You don't get the full acceleration without WTF mode, and obviously he didn't know what he was doing. To race the Hummer all you have to do is hold down the brake and then completely press in the accelerator, after that when you're ready to go you just let off the break.

Damn, dude don't know how to drive that hummer EV! If you're going to race it you need to put it in WTF mode to get the full acceleration. Watching this guy not knowing what he was doing just had me cringing, all he had to do was pull up a quick RUclips video to get the gist of it.

I am very interested in the RAM EV coming out. I want to know what they are going to do. However, this race just seems off. I know, I wasn't there but physics doesn't lie, and this doesn't add up. I know how much the Hummer EV weighs, but physics of 100% torque at zero RPM and the fact the TRX is also a fat cat that weighs a lot as well has to be considered along with having to run its torque through a gear box. 🤔
Hummer is over 9000lbs.

@@WheelsBoutique maybe they're not familiar with the Hummer EV and its WTF mode, which wasn't used and or perhaps missed that the TRX is definitely not stock boasting 1,000hp. It pretty much seems like a rigged race to people who were paying attention and familiar with those details.
