Thank you so much for this brief video on urinary diversion. So I’m reading Saunders lately and there is also happens to be a colon conduit as well apart from illegal conduit… I’ve searched everywhere but cannot seem to get any information on colon conduit may be it’s known by any other name …. Please help
Hi there, a colon conduit uses part of the colon instead of the ileum for the urinary diversion. Both serve the same purpose of re-routing urine but use different parts of the digestive system to accomplish this. Hope this helps!
